Whole Foods Market in other cities:
Disgusting !!!!!! in the process of an employee helping me with tuna salad behind the glass at the kitchen station... another employee in the kitchen dropped parchment paper while she was about to prepare things. the man that she was speaking to picked up the parchment that fell on the FLOOR where people walk with their shoes and placed them back on top to be reused !!!!!!!! shut it down ! i cant believe he did it and watched me look at him and left the parchment up there. i will not be getting anything else to eat out of this location . there was nothing sanitary about that! i asked cashier if they had a kitchen manager and he stated they did not. i cant believe it.
Big and open space, its a mini sized wholefoods with about half of the items, what i buy from the full size store wasnt available organic grits and beef bacon. Walking through there is a hot bar there thats a plus and its cheaper! $7.99lb, olive bar looked different didnt look like the gourmet olives from the full size store, missing organic produce! I didnt like it for full shopping trip maybe for eating hotbar items and grabing quick healthy snacks. They had a section for ordering items not sure what though, also a instore taco restaurant that wasnt open yet, they did have a juice vendor.
I love this Whole Foods! It’s not too big which makes finding things easier, the store is always very clean and organized. Downstairs they have a juice bar as well as a salad and soup bar, regular food bar, sandwich and pizza bar, coffee bar and Mexican restaurant. Upstairs there’s an arcade and and beer and wine bar!
Newly opened Whole Foods 365 is located on Church Street Decatur. There is reasonable parking space and two Electric Vehicle Charging Station by Volta and sitting area in a row on front and on side.Inside the whole food 365 there is a Mexican Restaurant Loteria Grill which will open soon on right side, Dtox juice on left side and Amazon Lockers as well.
Pretty good selection tonight. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. One pet peeve so, can you put up a big sign by the food bar so that people will be required to put on the gloves that you so kindly provide before they go plunging into the hot bar? You lose money with me when I go to the hot bar like tonight and see someone in the food with no gloves. Otherwise I love my neighborhood Whole Foods!
This Whole Foods is very different from what you would expect from a standard Whole Foods, but in a nice way. My wife and I have been shopping here every week for over a year now and it’s always been a great experience for us. The staff has been great and the place has done a great job throughout Covid.
Less than useful employees with a “not my job” attitude bring down the experience significantly. Also, not honoring a coupon that the store had clearly re-attached to several packages makes one wonder what other bait and switch tactics they use. No thanks. I’ll go elsewhere.
Store aisles go across rather than front to back, making it harder to find what you want. Needed some ice for a party - shocked to find they dont sell it! Choose this store to stop for that because I also knew they sell a certain coffee I wanted. Had to ask an employee to move so I could get to the coffee shelf. An overall disappointment compared to other Whole Foods Ive shopped
If you want to find the best fresh fruit and vegetables, a store with a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, look no further! This was actually my first time entering a Whole Foods Market. I couldnt be more pleased. Everything was so well organized and the store is so clean. I came looking for nutritional yeast and I found it next to the seasonings. A few weeks ago my sister and I came here to get fresh strawberries for chocolate covered strawberries 🍓. They were soooo juicy and sweet! Perfect for making my mom a sweet treat surprise.
Small store, not a huge selection. They have the basics and everything you need, but I still had to go to another location for the exact thing I came for. Extremely friendly staff! Convenient location and will be back. Also checkout was a breeze. Love when they have enough staff to have registers open. Overall good experience
Dang!! This was a True Welcomed surprise!! The Store was Modern, Clean, Easy and Simply Elegant!!Ive never been to a Whole Foods with this set Up!!The Staff was nice and friendly! I Really Like This Store! I bought some items , I Love the Simplicity of the Operation! Great set up and Cool Modern Touched that will stand the test of time to the future!!
You want customer service that Chik-fil-a wishes it had? Then you should shop here! Here’s the story: My 8 months pregnant wife and I were running errands with your two boys (under 5yo). Needless to say, time was of the essence. So we planned a pickup order, and paid for fast pickup. The pickup was majorly delayed, we were feeling frustrated, and our kids were starting to melt down in the car. Then enters Ross. Man comes in apologizing for the delay and bringing solutions. He not only worked hard to make it right, he went above and beyond, was exceptionally kind and helpful. It is the kind of character and qualities every company hopes to hire in an employee and every customer deeply appreciates.Mistakes happen, they are unavoidable. But rectifying them takes grit and skill. Ross has both and then some. If I was hiring I would steal Ross from Whole Foods, zero doubt.Whole Foods needs to promote this guy because if he can solve problems at this level, then I wonder what he can solve at the next level.
Friendly staff, good produce, nice selection. Easy to find what you need. Of course their deli bar is the best part but its very restricted cuz of covid. Not anywhere to put your shopping cart back after youre done with it unfortunately which means either abandoning it in the lot or walking or all the way back to the front door - which can be a bit inconvenient.Lots of surrounding shops as well to complete your trip.
This might be the only grocery store still limiting occupancy per the state mandates and it makes the shoping experience just terrific. Every staff member I interacted with was exceedingly pleasant. I even noticed the guy stocking the frozen peas fluffing each bag before putting them in the freezer case and couldnt help but appreciating seeing someone who took pride and care in their work. Five stars!
I love whole foods such a wholesome place to shop. You can find just about all your needs there. Cakes are so soooo good melt in your mouth. All your natural foods, and essential oils are always available, customer service is quite nice. They clean carts quite frequently which is always appreciated.
All of the foods here are cheap and healthy! I came here specifically for Asian foods and they had so many varieties! I got the Pad Thai rice noodles, potstickers, vegan chocolate chip cookies, teriyaki sauce and so much more. I would definitely go back if youre looking for healthy options and quick and easy things to make!! The frozen section is amazing too!! The staff is so friendly as well you will definitely enjoy your shopping experience.
I love whole foods i really miss the one on briarcliff my go to store when my days were more than busy. But im not taking favor to whole foods 364 the produce is either not ripe enough or over ripe which i refuse to over pay for. Other markets are sprouting up with much lower prices and better fresh breads and produce
Every time I visit there, it doesnt fail to disappoint me. The store looks good, and their customer service is what I typically find in other Whole Foods markets. But they dont carry what other Whole Foods markets usually have. Examples include rosemaries, oysters (in January), vanilla syrup to name a few. Hopefully they will be more stacked when the update is done (hopefully sometime soon) as I heard the 365 concept had been discontinued. No wonder why they made a decision to throw away that 365 concept.
I havent been there since before the pandemic started. And I guess because of the pandemic a lot of their shelves are not stocked. So one of the main things that I came into the store for they did not have. But I wound up spending $40 so I guess I found something. Overall it was really glad to be back in there.
Place has a great vibe to it with all the lighting and placements. Great location as well, right in the middle of a happening shopping center. They have an dine-out area too.As for the items and prices, its a regular Wholefoods shop. I usually use the self checkout process ever since covid hit us.
I really like the selection and location. My only issue is the quality of the produce has been inferior. I expect better from Whole Foods. Old and brown green beans, swisss chard, and kale. Also the oranges I bought once molded in two days. Please correct this issue. Sprouts is down the street and the produce quality is better. Nice selection of desserts, pastries, salsa. Also the salad bar and breakfast bar need improvement. Please make sure everything looks fresh and have soup put by 10:00 A.M.
Whole Foods has plenty of unique food, health, wellness, and beauty products. There were many brands and items one could find no where else, before it was bought by Amazon. Everything seems fresher, cleaner, and of a more premium quality. I like Whole Foods, but there is a reason it is nicknamed Whole Paycheck. Its quite expensive to grocery shop there, even after its recent acquisition by Amazon. It doesnt seem to have affected the prices. I cant seem to shop there without spending at least $25; no matter how little I pick up. I guess you get what you pay for? I still think Target and Trader Joes are on par with Whole Foods, yet the former seems to have slightly more reasonable prices. Only shop at Whole Foods for a treat if you have a little extra disposable income. The hot bar is worth the price sometimes though.
I love this location now since the Briarcliff location closed and i was amazingly surprised how nice it was. I was new to the store and it’s location and i couldn’t find anything in the store so this wonderful handsome young man named perry i think that was his name asked “was i finding everything okay?” and i asked him for one thing on my shopping list and he ended up completing my whole shopping list for me. He was so nice, patient and kind to me. I will certainly be back to this location!Great Atmosphere, Clean Environment, Wonderful Customer Service & Fresh Food
I think people do not understand that a Whole Foods 365 is centered around their 365 brand. So when reviews are giving bad ratings because this store is “focused heavily on 365 brand”, shows they don’t have a concept for what this store is. Ever since the Amazon buyout, the 365 brand has become much cheaper and affordable. I love this clean, open, and wonderful store in this area. It was much needed and a great addition to the area. I drive from Tucker to shop here because I enjoy it so much!
Very clean and well staffed with a reasonably sized parking lot. The produce is very good and the prices are occasionally better than the Dekalb Market, which is saying something. They have a decent variety of snacks and basic cooking essentials as well as meats, cheeses, and a frozen section. They also have a very small home goods section with vitamins, soaps, pet food, etc. There is an arcade upstairs, along with beers on tap.
Overall okay. This store lacks a lot of selection. Not a positive experience with these 365 stores. This one seems to be a very poor use of space. Not all employees were wearing masks this time which was a bit concerning. Generally Im noticing folks in general both employees and customers are paying less attention to social distancing practices.
Trash service associates are rude and unhelpful just came in looking for marshmallows . It’s not that difficult of an ask. Pretty much the worst experience at a Whole Foods. Let me save you some time and go to the location on Ponce. If I could give this location negative stars I would
365 stores are smaller than a typical Whole Foods but they manage to make sure that it will have more than just the basics for you on your way home or for a lunchtime meal.Theres always plenty of parking, cashiers and self checkout. Prime members have deals clearly marked for them that are worth checking out.
I like Whole Foods but this location needs more!!They don’t have all the products we used to get from another WF locations.Baby formulaWomen vitaminsTortillasFresh sea foodEtc etcBut my son likes this store only because they have the video-games and the second level.
I absolutely love the concept and location and the 365 brand. Theres something for everyone even if your a loyal Whole Foods shopper. The prices are fair and the choices are plentiful. I think they got this concept right and I look forward to seeing more locations in Georgia soon.I see a few negative comments and I know for some people change is hard but also very necessary for growth, so before you knock it, try it.I would definitely recommend Whole Foods Market 365
The woman at the check out just rolled her eyes at me when I was waiting to check out. This location will soon be the new ghetto. I wonder what’s the hiring criteria and if people are getting hired because they know someone in charge. There is no customer service for a job that pays them $15 an hour.Wholefoods should check on this location and the training given to people working here.
When I heard this was opening in my neighborhood, I was attracted by the Prime discounts that were advertised. However it was disappointing to see that they are few and far between. And while 10% is decent enough, its usually overlooked in the fresh food department. As well. The fresh food is very limited - still good produce.
The store is clean, the workers are polite and friendly but some of the fresh produce looks rough and old. Saw shriveled avocados, brown rotted heads of lettuce and old celery. Also the breakfast bar was a huge disappointment. Only a few item to pick from and at 9am, they all looked like yesterdays leftovers warmed up. Egg dish was brown, dry and crusty. No bacon. Saw sausage patties and chicken nuggets but have no idea what the other dishes were...maybe plantains, quinoa, and mixed grains? No labels on foods. I opted for a breakfast sandwich and discovered a weird cube shaped chuck of egg, lovely bacon slices and melted cheese on a grease-soaked chibbata biscuit. Over all, a very disappointing visit.
I abbbbbsooollluttteellllyyy loooooveee this store! Its very clean, gorgeous color palette, phenomenal digital displays, very great & high energy place. Great staff. Clean & well-maintained grounds. The pricing on the produce is amazing and the selection is outstanding. As a person recently committed to a vegan lifestyle, there have everything I need and then some. I love their outdoor seating and general fun vibe. Some ppl feel Millennials dont like grocery shopping, but as a Millennial, I love to shop here and appreciate all the vibes. All you guys need are Pineapple Corers👌🏾 I hope this store stays open forever.
$1.99 organic celery stalks regular price! If you juice 16 ounces of fresh celery every morning like me, you know how great this is. Beyond burger patties are regular price $4.99. Also a good deal. Amazon Prime members, have your QR code from your app ready on your phone at checkout for savings on Prime member items. Like the organic cherries for $4.99 a pound that I snagged. Mine came to $3.94 which was plenty for me for a couple days!
This store is so bizarre to me. I get that its not a regular Whole Foods, so they might be aiming for a different vibe, but its legitimately unpleasant. Theres something very Euro chic in a communist country about it. The color pallet would best be described as Hospital White. The selection is also not great, unless you love bottled water. They seem to stock a great quantity of a select few items, rather than a wide selection youd expect from a Whole Foods. The high prices certainly stay true to the brand, but theres just absolutely no way someone could do all their grocery shopping here.
If you are used to the selection of grocery shopping at regular Whole Foods store 365 will disappoint. If you are simply running in to get a few items, you have a great chance of getting what you need in a hurry. The best thing about this store isnt its selection or location. its the friendly staff.
I love Whole Foods but was very disappointed that this Decatur, Ga store did not stock my favorite keto items that my favorite Whole Foods store in Metaire , Louisiana has ! I called the store on Ponce De Leon , that one did not stock my favorite items either !!! :( Now the one in Brookhaven did have a better selection, but it’s so far from where I live !
There was a non service animal in the store. I know this for a fact because another patron asked the owner of the dog while we were all at the self check out registers. To make matters worse the dog was around the hot food bar. When I asked an employee if animals were allowed in the store the cashier said by law shes not allowed to question whether or not the dog was in fact a service animal. The lady was just allowed to roam around the store with no questions asked. This makes me feel very uneasy about purchasing food from this particular location.
I ran into a small issue while I was here but the way it was handled was customer service at its best. Otherwise this place is clean, well organized and perfect for a quick stop or a full shop.Thank you, Walt. You truly handled the situation well and I appreciate it - the leek lady
Dont go for the hot or salad bar. They do not keep it replenished. When I went at lunchtime, the cucumber container was almost empty. Just a few sad, transparent cucumber slices swimming in water. The blue cheese dressing container was empty. So I tried the ranch. I got the last teaspoon from that container. I wound up with a very sad looking salad. I should have gone to Moes.
A knockoff Aldi with refrigerated sushi and stale baked goods. Food bar is tiny and the store doesnt have all the 365 brand items, like the small cups of oatmeal. I dont understand the purpose of this store. The items arent discounted nor exclusive enough to warrant their higher than aveage prices. 365? Please, I wouldnt come here another day in my life.
The store is nice and well laid-out. More products are being added each time I visit. There is an arcade upstairs, which is a plus. It’s great to see the Briarcliff staff at this store! They are friendly and professional. I would have given this review 5 stars but for the rude guy in the meat department. He was there on Jan 5, 12:30ish. Wore glasses (sorry I was too annoyed to notice his name). He was demeaning to the customers who had questions about meat, like he was angry at us for wasting his time with inquiries. In all my years of shopping at Briarcliff, I have only experienced one rude incident from a staff member, and the manager handled it well.
I had a package shipped to the lockers here in order to avoid the traffic in Buckhead. I decided to grab a snack. Everything I could possibly be looking for in a grocery store can be found here, including a helpful staff, yet what catches my attention most is the signage. Its easy to see where I can probably find what Im looking for.
Just know something about the 365 stores they do not carry everything as if a regular Whole Food store would. I will say theres if youre looking for a rotisserie chicken, they do have those. But as far as grits by the other company that comes in a white bag they dont carry that one. They only carry the one with the old guy on the front of it. I think its Old Mill. This is the only one they have which sucks. And I say this because there products are processed with nuts and tree nuts! Because I know they have other good products out there but for those who have this allergen I would not recommend you even attempting to eat it! So I hope this helps.
Unimpressed. While the produce was nice, the store seems to be heavy on the 365 brand. Things did seem whole foods like (pricey). Over all, Id stick with Sprouts. Also, since I was there on a very rainy morning, finding you have go back into the rain to get a cold, wet cart..not so great.
I would encourage checking the dates on your Meats. Meat department, placing meat on sale that is spoiling in less than 5 days! Purchased ground turkey, tookit out to make be a meatloaf, it smelled fresher than usual, didnt think much of it until I ate a piece of it, and also served my mom, after tasting it and it wasnt right I checked the date, afterwards and it said use or freeze by April 28. 2019🤔. I purchased it sat, 20 cooked it the 24,.... Highly upset item was already spoiled! I was sooooooo ready for a nice slice of meatloaf, Even though it was refrigerated that day it was already spoiled!!!!!!🤔😫😫😝 Very dissatisfied, and disappointed! Lets look at Another item from Deli chopped chicken salad purchased on 20, had a weird taste checked date spoiled on 23! Lesson learned, Check the date , always !
The colored windows look like a mexican pinata, prices are the same, or more, they cut the corn bread smaller to sell it for less price, the coffee bar/ Cart doesnt have Agave, employees are confrontational especially the young black girls when you ask for help. Not good at all.
I remember the used to be a car dealership, but as of late 2017 and early 2018. They build the whole foods market plaza after they finished building sprouts farmers market plaza. Suburban Plaza replaced old Piccadilly into Walmart, Ross, Home Goods, LA fitness, book store and Starbucks. Plus they remodeled the bowling alley called the comet. I love it. I also noticed that the old church has been demolished into the inside area apartments called Pointe on Scott with a parking lot deck connected altogether.
Dont use the Amazon lockbox here. Ive been trying to get a package delivered there since Thursday of last week. Each attempt UPS says there is no staff available to receive the package. Whats the point of having it here if you cant use it? Amazon should stop listing this location as an option.
This market is the anchor store of the new North Decatur Square and includes D-Juice and a Mexican grill as part of its amenities. It is conveniently located on the corner of Church Street and North Decatur and is accessible to those just outside the Perimeter in places like Tucker and Stone Mountain.

2021-06-22I was looking for something quick to eat after I left Xfinity. I kinda wanted pizza but read the reviews for Pizza Hut( which I have always liked but the reviews were so bad I started looking around the area. I had wanted to stop by Whole Foods anyway to pick up some fruit so I read their reviews. 🤩 Wow!! What glowing write ups! So instead of just hopping in and out I checked it out a bit. Got a nice slice of White Pizza and I could not resist picking up a Tequila Lime Marinated Salmon Filet for dinner. Nice clean store friendly staff. Will stop by again. Also stop by for lunch and eat outside, they have beautiful areas to enjoy your lunch.

2022-07-13National chain of organic grocery stores. There is the running joke that it might as well be called “whole paycheck.” Yes, they are more expensive than most grocery stores. But their produce and meat and fish are all really top notch. I happen to live near some good cheese shops but if I didnt, there are few places that will custom cut cheese for you and have such knowledgeable staff. Their hot bar is good, but the per pound price gets expensive very quickly. The Whole foods branded 365 products are good white labels. They carry some specialty ingredients, sauces, etc, that you probably wont find in other stores. You can get a discount on many things with an Amazon Prime membership and you can even pay with your Amazon account.

2022-03-22I once visited this store to pickup my orders for Amazon. This time I had to pickup salad for my Daughter/GrandDaughter. The variety was off the charts. There was a variety of salad mixtures and fruits and vegetables. I could not spend much time in the store to do a Grocery list shopping, but I was alert enough to visibly know that I would recommend this store to others.

2022-06-21Not enough chocolate milk selection and the donuts arent kosher. However, I passed three employees on one of the aisles eating some cookies and debating if they were actually cookies or not and where they should be placed on the shelves based on the taste. That seems like a good sign of a store where people care about their work and about their customers.

2022-04-13A few days ago, my friend and I picked up a few items at Whole Foods. My friend used the self check out and one of the employees decided it was okay to be in her personal space. Yes, my friend and I are black. She also did the same exact thing to a black couple. This is NOT okay. I’ve kept my cool with this specific employee for TOO long. She needs to grow up and realize that black people aren’t going anywhere, especially in Decatur. Her behavior is disgusting. I ONLY shop at this specific Whole Foods because I work in the area. I will confront her if she decides to do it again. Not acceptable and not on my watch!

She went above and beyond to make it special and I just can’t thank her enough!!! She was kind, patient and compassionate right from the beginning which is sometimes a rare quality these days!!! She genuinely cared about making it special!!! Jenna, Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!You absolutely made my day and my mothers too!!!

2022-06-10Have been twice now just for the hot food bar. Once for breakfast, once supper. Good choices, variety. Hard to negotiate with a walker or wheelchair -- space between too narrow.

2022-06-12After an initial misunderstanding over the phone, Ross provided me with the best service I have ever had at a grocery store. Really grateful for his patience and kindness, and for the quality and consistency of the food available here.

2022-01-31I previously really liked this store but yesterday I went in for a few items and had a bit of trouble at the self checkout. When I asked for help, the lady who was attending the area was really rude and short with me which I do not appreciate at a place that takes so much of my money. She basically told me to figure it out on my own or leave. I know they were busy but that was really not ok. I think Ill be headed to the Sprouts nearby in the future.
