Whole Foods Market in other cities:
NEVER again will I purchase a cannoli again! It was TERRIBLE!!!! The WORST!!! Soggy, and too much chocolate chips it was as if I was only eating chocolate chips with a piece of sioggy bread. Yuck!!! I had to throw it out and spit out what I bit off. According to one of the bakers it was their same recipe. I dont think he was around 5 years ago. I also dont think whole foods knows how to make cannoli anymore. They were the only place that USED to make good cannoli. Now I have nowhere to go but make them myself. They also no longer carry the yogurt I buy. I guess Ill wait a few more years before I visit again.
I just miss having such a great quality grocery store around me. LEaving in Jacksonville, fl, having 1 whole foods store near us and being g such a poor quality store is very upsetting.. waking in this store was a breath of fresh air. Great customer service, great variety And availability of everything.. just amazing. Thank you for such a great store..
Since COVID, Whole Foods has really gone downhill. Stock is always low or out, prices have risen because of inflation, they dont have great specials like they used to, they now have taken over most of the cafe with storage shelves for delivery/pickup. It kind of feels like a Kinkos that sells food. Like who though of the layout to put this weird self checkout bay there? Is it really saving them that much. Yeah, it is because you now do the work of someone else. Oh yeah, I used to get a coffee there during my lunch. Well, no more coffee bar in the afternoon. But, hey, they do have an entire cooler end-cap of $4 Kombucha, which is a food fad and has literally no health benefits. Kind of says it all.
I moved back to Savannah two years ago after I retired from the federal govt. Whole Foods is just a few blocks away, and with Covid, they deliver and I am a prime member...organic foods, ph refillable water, nice employees, so many positives! Well, they just lost me as a customer! Apparently, WF is stereotyping customers who purchase water in refillable bottles! I have noticed an increase in the non-white customers, also noted was an increase in the non-white employees, and the employee attitudes are bad. I am a Black female, 69 years old. I was accosted two times in two weeks while paying for my water, 4 gls & ice pops at the self-check out! I was warned both times by non-white females, that people are stealing water...I guess, me too! I called the store to complain and asked for the store manager. I was not promptly transferred. By the time that I was, my blood pressure had elevated at least 30 pts! I conveyed my dismay to the asst. store manager and she asked me why did I think that I was being targeted. I said, because I am a Black female. I was told that a customer gift card will be waiting for me at customer service. I was traumatized and in no rush to return! I went in one Sunday evening and stopped at customer service. I asked for AMY. The very rude man who was attending began his interrogation, who are you, what is your name? I asked his name. It was Jonathan, the front end manager. No wonder the employees are rude. Jonathan was totally off the chain! He handed me a gift card, never apologizing for my horrible experiences. I refilled my ph water at .99/gl, which I gladly pay. I was buying ph water for $3.99/gl. This trip, I went to a cashier and was told to make sure that I did not have any items in the lower part of my cart! Glutton for punishment, my 4 gls of ph water & ice pops, I went to the self check out. I went to a register with my 4 gls of ph water @ .99/gl and my ice pops. A white man came to me to ask if I needed assistance, turning sharply to glance at my screen. I do not have any problems in this store when I just purchase groceries. I have to make a separate trip for my water. I have a physical handicap so I cannot take too much at a time.
The man behind the meat counter was rude. 3/15/22 approximately 3PM I visited the store. He asked me do you want anything? What happened to Can I help you maam? Am I not good enough to be asked if I need anything in a nice polite way? I asked for 1.lb of ground chuck. He goes into the case and choose the slice that didnt look so well, so I asked him to get the thicker slice that was in the case instead. He cuts it in half and it measures less than 1.lb it was .86 - unfortunately I didnt notice it until I got home. What was his problem? I also asked for 1.lb of pork belly and he gives me 1.32 .lb Apparently this guy didnt want to help me. Just lousy customer service.
Its only worth shopping here when theres a sale on something specific I want. Their hot bar is ATROCIOUS. RARELY ever actually hot. The food looks like it been sitting there for hours. Always looks like the leftovers no one wanted. Honestly the worst Whole Foods hot bar Ive ever been to.
Just got home from the Victory drive location. The man who was stocking the yogurt area went above and beyond to go in the back room to see if they had what I was looking for. Also, Jasmine at check out was super nice. Oh and David is crushing it in the floral department. Great experience all around.
This is my go to store amazing products however they never have organic red peppers they are always out but nonetheless this store is amazing an offers amazon prime discount deals super amazing red snapper is a bit pricey for one fish maybe one day it will be in my budget but this place is definitely worth it
Rude staff at the pizza/ sandwich counter 12/10 @1pm (in case management wants to address the particular employee). Stood in line & when it was my turn the lady ignores me & walks away. No One moment, sir. Or Be right back. Then she comes back but instead of acknowledging me she starts making pizza dough. So I have to go over to her to ask if she can warm up a slice for me and without ver looking at me she just says No, not Sorry we dont do that anymore or That gentleman can help you with that, just No.Management, I hope you track her down and give her training. No name tag, but probably about 180-200lbs white woman of that helps identify her.
5:00 PM: Just came back from whole foods. Wanted to get some hot food from the self-serve. Only leftovers from lunch available. Most steam trays are empty. The next two hours are whats known colloquially as Dinner Time. Asked the nearest employee when fresh food will be brought out. She says No more food, they have to clear it out by 7:00. Two more hours to go. Lunch leftovers to serve to Mr. Bezos customers for dinner.
I expect more from Whole Foods, because it is very expensive. There are never enough checkout lanes open and the cashiers are very slow. All employees are very nice though. The hot food selection is mediocre and the other prepared foods look old and unappetizing. If you are planning to come grab lunch, just go somewhere else. It will be quicker.
Their bulk alkaline water system is the one true way! Cleanest freshly filtered water that doesnt consume plastic! After a couple weeks your water bottle becomes a part of you, which can be personalized with stickers and I am proud to carry it with me. I challenge everyone DIRECTLY to use this it is only $1/gallon and your Brita filter cant purify your water half as well, unless you prefer treated river sludge. Be healthy for yourself and the planet!!!
Based on my experiences in Atlanta and elsewhere, Ive come to expect more--better service, higher quality, and fresher products--from Whole Foods, probably from 20+ years of amazing Amazon quality. Not the case in Savannah, where for the 2nd week in a row, the bread was stale, some of the fruit and vegetables, about to spoil. A smaller market customer base is no excuse for lousy customer service; you think it would be the opposite.
Clean and efficient with super helpful and generally knowledgeable staff. High quality meats and seafood, same goes for the desserts and cakes. It is nice to find plenty of Mochi ice cream in unusual flavors and they have things that most grocery stores do not carry. Of course high end, hipster food doesnt come cheap. A good place to meet pleasant champagne socialists.
Found exactly what I was looking for. Raclette Cheese!! The food is great quality. Store is always clean. The hot food bar is the best!! I would love to eat here everyday if my wallet would allow me.Cashier was super friendly. Everyone was wearing mask and keeping a good distance between each other
I love it everything is so fresh, and you cant beat the prices. My family lives in Florida, and thats the one they go to as well. Shopping is truly a pleasure and the management is definitely on top of their game, constantly stocking shelves. Youll never see a sale sign if the product isnt on the shelf, and if its in the ad and they dont have it, you get a rain check. Thats customer service.
It was ok, but the products I went to get they dont have at that particular location. Spanish food like Plantains and others,my guess is cause theres not to much hispanic population around that area. Other than that is was a nice place to shop , I will definitely go back.
Cashier was being rude to me because she asked if I had two slices and I didn’t catch it and assumed she said one slice of pizza so I nodded yes. but realized she rang it up wrong before I finished paying and took my card out and told her I only had one. She kept going on and on about how she thought I said two because she asked and I nodded so she put two and I was like well sorry I misunderstood and she kept on and I said well I guess I’m deaf sorry and she said well if you don’t understand ask you need to communicate you know. I really don’t appreciate being chastised on my lunch break by a cashier with an attitude problem. If she wants to act like that she can work in the back. I was nice about it and it’s not a big deal to cancel the item and put quantity of one. So she didn’t need to be like that. It’s stuff like this that makes me never want to leave the house.
Historically I would have given five stars to Whole Foods. However, WF’s has slipped, particularly in complying with the new recommendations. Carts are not sanitized, there are no complimentary masks, most of the employees do not mask. They are ignoring the mayor’s pleas. They no longer set the example
We live in Richmond Hill and have gone to this Whole Foods twice, a month apart. And both times I’ve noticed their pasta, in the display cases at the back have rotten moldy pastas sitting on display. Why haven’t they gotten it out?! It was rotten the first time we went, and then a month later it’s still there?? How is that not a health code violation? It makes me question how sanitary their other premade food is. Seems like food poisoning waiting to happen.
The staff is very nice and everyone was helpful everything we got was good but the chicken I bought a rotisserie chicken and we realized a little too late it wasn’t done because we got to the middle and there was still red so several of us came down with a little bit of food poisoning sick all night so I’m not a good night
I dont always have the money to shop at Whole Foods, but I do it anyway. The food quality is great. The selection cant be beat in my area. All other grocery store bakeries are put to shame. When theres an issue they go above and beyond to resolve it. Everyone is so nice, and theres some pretty cute employees if Im just being honest. Can we talk about the rotisserie chicken for a second? It makes the best bone broth Ive ever had. The only opportunity Ive seen is the buffet could get some better options and the sushi bar needs to step its game up for real.
This may be my least favorite Whole Foods. Products I used to buy from other Whole Foods, like certain cheeses (ricotta salata, fresh feta) or flours (00 Flour), are not carried by this store. But really my 2 star score is for some of the staff members, whose behavior makes the service at Kroger look exquisite.Dean at the meat counter has to be the rudest associate Ive ever seen at any Whole Foods. A young girl who must package online orders for the store was asking him for some cut of meat and he answered her so sarcastically and rudely, totally brushing her off. Then I tried to order some soup bones, telling him there were none in the freezer, and he just gave me this massive bag of them without even seeing how many I needed. I said Im only making a small amount of soup and asked how many I should get for that, and he rolled his eyes saying I dont know. The young girl came back to plead with him so she could fulfill the order she was processing and he was just like I dont know what you want me to do with some ridiculous exasperated look on his face. She looked like she was going to cry. Hes rude and should not be assigned to deal with other people.Another scenario occurred when I called the store and asked to speak with someone in the cheese department. I asked the woman if they carried a certain kind of cheese. When she said they didnt, I said thanks for checking, have a nice day. After that, I guess she assumed Id hung up the phone, and she proceeded to bad mouth me to her coworkers. If youre going to b*tch about customers, at least hang up the phone first. To end this on a positive note though; I would like to shout out Margarita. Margarita at the cash register is very sweet!
I always visit this location when Im in Savannah and its still awesome. The store is clean and stocked full of awesome goodness! Everyone has always been positive, nice, and helpful. Now theres a Amazon Locker inside so its so easy to pick up Amazon items too. I love this Whole Foods & I think you will too!
Great vegan selection which my wife loves. I used to eat from their buffet but food quality has gone down as well as variance in selection. Used to love the coconut curry fish they had but like may of the other things I like it gone for the same repeats day after day. Shopping here is a great experience staff is polite and helpful.
Started shopping at this location recently and the store always looks extremely clean and well organized.Today i tried their free delivery option and it was amazing! Everything was delivered as ordered, within the promised two hour window and the simplicity of it all was incredible!Thank you!
Its always clean and produce is fresh and clean and presented so attractively. Friendly and great customer service. I had one unkind interaction at the meat counter, and I told the cashier about it and she profusely apologized and paid for the meat. I give her my love and appreciation. We need more people like her.
I use to really love this Whole Foods store, but now it went completely downhill. I cant shop in there without some certain male employee harassing me and following me around the store. Whats worse is that I confronted management about it, and they did NOTHING cause when I went back afterwards he kept continuing on while there was someone hes friends with taking pictures of me with his phone. So afterwards I stopped shopping there. I did nothing provoke anyone, I was only a regular customer. I didnt think Whole Foods of all places would allow something like that.
I go to whole foods a lot and usually everything is good but today at 3pm Tuesday the 13 I went for my Italian coffee and after I paid for my cup the pot was empty. There was one behind it so I asked if there was anymore the lady said no I could use one of the others. I told her I dont like the other ones. She didnt want to make another pot of Italian so I threw my cup away no refund given. VERY DISAPPOINTEDUpdate: I went back to pick up a few things and a different person was working in the coffee and she was excellent! She made me a fresh cup and it was very good. Everything is usually good at this store.
This place is great for organic foods and healthy meals. It is also a great store for vitamins and nutritional supplements - the coffee is great and the lunch and dinner selections are awesome -but the best part is definitely the bakery. I dont care what you say - the pastries and cookies are not even remotely healthy and they taste fantastic. Tell yourself you are going to a health food store but dont forget to try the cookies, cupcakes, pies, gelato, and candy !
The food is it high quality. I love that everything is organic. Theyre a bit pricey but you need to be smart of what to buy there and what to buy in other stores. At the end you get what you pay for. HOWEVER, the only reason why I dont shop there often is because of the staff. Theyre most of the time not friendly and dont want to be bothered. Sometimes they can be rude and unprofessional. I dont want to give my money to those who dont respect others. Id rather shop at Kroger just because the friendliness and compassion that thief staff show.
Great quality food, but the prices are high even for a whole foods. Dont eat from the bar, Its a scam. The cardboard plates you get food with will be $8.00 empty, due to the weight of the container alone. Food is ok, sushi selection is small and pretty much ONLY California rolls. Staff is the strong point here, very friendly.
Outstanding staff!! Management is thee best. Clean store & bathrooms. Eating area clean & always well kept. Love the seafood selection from the pacific. The Meat & Seafood dept very clean & staff friendly. Produce well organized, clean, but pricing confusing recently. Inventory has been a supremely stocked until recently. I am hoping just a hiccup & praying temporary.
Clean , good selection, hot & cold buffet great , flavorful , hot food hot cold food cold. Everything clean & neat. Dining area clean & neat ..Got off 95 just to come eat here was worth it. This is one of the better Whole Foods that I have been to. Staff very helpful .will be back this is my 3rd time making effort to come to this location
Super expensive, but large selection of specialty items. Staff is too cool to talk to you, dont bother trying. Beautiful location though. Great parking including charging stations for electric cars. Lack of friendliness and over priced good is too much to overcome for me though. I only go in when I need something specific.
I live within 5 minute drive of the store, and love to shop there. As a celiac and a vegetarian, this store gives me the perfect options! Everyone who works there is very friendly and helpful.Happy to see so many gluten free choices.Recently they pulled together a gift basket for me with less than an hours notice! They made me look like a hero with the client. Thanks Whole Foods
Pizzas are good but wildly inconsistent. Ordered a garden veggie pizza and each time its a different pizza with different sauce and toppings. We also went and tried to order a pizza with several of the listed available toppings on the order form - only to be told we dont have those. Really? Then why are listed on the choices on the order form? Informed store management and got no response. The pizza process at Whole Foods is a roll of the dice at best
Love love the herbal smells of the wonder food bar!!! Im an avid organic consumer, and although the food bar items may not be organic, you can still taste the clean due to humanely-raised animals. I will be 53-years-old this year, and I will be the first to tell you that feeding these bodies food without the chemicals will keep one looking AMAZING!!! The veggies and fruit are wonderfully tasteful! I LOVE this place, and I shop then whenever I can. Keep selling good for you foods, PLEASE!
I just want to say that I love this Wholefoods! I just want to also say that Shelley in prepared foods is an awesome person - very helpful and friendly. I usually come there for the garlicky kale, but most of the time its not always available. It wasnt available when i arrived today, but when i asked about it and looked disappointed, Shelley went out of her way to make sure that I got some that day. I really appreciated that. She also acknowledged me and spoke as soon as I came to the prepared foods section while waiting on another customer. She acts like she really loves her job. It will make anyone want to come back. She really makes you feel welcome. I have to say that after shopping at several retail stores most times good customer service is lacking. I feel that Shelley is such an asset to Wholefoods and hopefully one day it will all pay off for her.
If you are in the savannah area and looking for some of the best quality food, Whole Foods is the place for you. The customer service here is excellent, the people are very friendly and the products are always neatly arranged and reasonably priced. :-) our family has been shopping here since the day they opened and will continue to do so for as long as we are in the Savannah area.
Their fresh produce are not fresh, their price is slightly higher than other grocery stores too, and I assume they have better quality control, but I was wrong, the apples are wrinkly , mongos are rotted. Now I rather drive 20 mins more and go to publix for my grocery shopping
You can’t get any hot food, fresh-baked bread, pastry or brewed coffee after an hour before closing. I suspect that Amazon tightened up on hours and overtime when they bought the chain. The hot food tables are hit or miss. Your best bet is being there when they put fresh food out around 5 p.m.
As a family, We love Whole Foods and have shopped at about a hundred of them across the country... This particular one is our new favorite! Its new, its clean, its perfect sized, and it has everything you need (and more) in a grocery store... A really great beer and wine section! You can even fill your growler up here at the wine and beer bar. And if you have any questions about drinks, (just ask Aaron, he knows his stuff). This place has a beautiful indoor and outdoor seating area with huge reclaimed wood tables that can seat 8 adults, (it was perfect for our family of six)! ...Also, if you have any questions about prepared foods, just ask Chris, he was very helpful yesterday.
First time today in the Savannah Whole Foods. The blackberry sorbet and the pineapple basil gelato was amazing. The service was on point. The prices on spices for the most part were really good. Wonderful variety of bulk foods available. I will certainly be a frequent customer.
I wasnt a fan of whole foods until Luckys market moved in, now I shop here almost exclusively. Its more costly than Walmart for sure, but that seems to be getting better. I like that they support the community, source their items locally, and pay their employees well. The race to the bottom, money wise, makes our community suffer. Saving $2.00-$10 on a shopping trip may seem useful, but that company is cutting corners and paying their employees just a little (compare whole foods to savealot or Luckys).Plus I loathe organic and non GMO food as trendy healthism with negative consequence. GMO is sustainable and good (progressive, healthy, save the world), organic is often unsusatainable (waste, uses more fertilizer and pesticide and costly. Its a marketing gimmick designed to prey on the ilinformed. Luckys bars GMP, its not even an option. At least at whole foods theyve left me that decision. If they didnt, I probably wouldnt shop here..
Alyson in the floral department did AMAZING work for my wedding! I had a huge wedding party (14 bouquets, 15 boutonnieres, plus centerpieces), and it was so much more affordable going with Whole Foods than with the local florists where I live. Alyson did everything I asked for knowing I was on a budget. I wanted peonies, but she advised that this years were not looking so great; so instead of allowing me to spend that extra money for sad looking flowers, she cared enough to let me know that garden roses would be just as pretty and more affordable. Every arrangement was gorgeous, and I could not have been happier!! I just wish they could have lasted forever! 10/10 WOULD recommend!!
This is a review of their floral departmentAfter reading online that Whole Foods does floral arrangements I decided to give them a call. I had just met with another local florist and the total amount was crazy. I just wanted bouquets and boutonnières so I really wasnt interested in spending a bunch on flowers, especially since we were in a garden for our wedding. The person I met also critiqued my flower choices and pushed me to want more expensive flowers. Whole Foods is not like that AT ALL. I talked on the phone with Chris. He was super nice and very accommodating. He sadly left before our wedding happened but I never felt like we were in bad hands. Andy and Alyson took over and did a fantastic job! My father was worried I would get some random person making my bouquet but the people making the flower arrangements at Whole Foods are florists professionally. They ask all the same questions a florist shop (whats your color scheme? whats your theme? what flowers are you looking for?). They never pushed me to get pricey flowers and were honest about what flowers would be available when. For pretty much the same flowers as the local florist, the total was $600 less. Yeah. And let me tell you, they were beautiful! Everything was fresh, smelled amazing, and looked perfect. It was exactly what I pictured! We were also able to get some extra flowers for decor and my dad had a last min request for more boutonnieres, which they whipped out for us really quick! I cant recommend them enough! Thank you Whole Foods!
We’ve been shopping here twice weekly (plus) for over three years and my how times have changed...in the past six months alone we’ve been sold no less than two bags of bad mussels, one large fillet of very un-fresh fish, two bad chickens and one package of bad chicken wings. Maybe we have bad luck, but this never happened before so I can only assume it’s due to poor management and lower standards. Additionally, the veggie section (which used to be consistently stocked with local and fresh selections) is regularly missing standards with gaping holes where foods once resided. While the staff is more than happy to accommodate returns and refunds for the spoiled items, it’s always a time suck to have to rework dinner because the food you thought was good isn’t edible. With all this negative experience, we’ll stick to the dried goods and take our fish, meat and produce business to the farmers market. Edit: I should add that we love the staff! They are always a dream and one of the main reasons we forgave and forgot so many times. Whole Foods, we want this relationship to work but you really need to get your business in order before we trust you again.
I love this place. Its like a candy store for adults. Most people say organic is way to expensive but its only costing me about $20 more a week but everything taste 10x better. Its about 45 miles from the house so I only make the trip once a week but I get excited everytime I go.
Id give their prepared foods zero stars if that was an option. This was the first time Id shopped there because theyre way over-priced but I had no choice since work kept me too busy to find time to shop at my usual market. I bought several different dinners: brisket w/ garlic green beans and mac n cheese, roasted chicken w/ the green beans and herb roasted sweet potatoes and a pepperoni calzone. The brisket had more fat than meat and inedible, the green beans were still on the stem and void of flavor and the mac n cheese was too rich and gave me an upset stomach. The calzone wasnt marked properly and it was a veggie calzone that was completely void of flavor. I havent tried the chicken and potatoes but at this point, I anticipate that it will be equally as bad. If Im going to occasionally need to buy over-priced prepared meals, Ill stick with Fresh Market who seem to know what theyre doing.
Just left Whole Foods. Check out person said she was closed, so I went to another line. I looked over and she checked out a guy who had a lot less stuff than I did. Then I mentioned to her ‘ I thought you were closed’ and proceeded with the checkout where I was. She came over as she left her register to where I was, glared at me and said ‘I was closed sir’ very hatefully. Then she proceeded to sit down at the table and stare at me while I was finishing my check out. As I went to the parking lot was driving by and she came out and was staring at me while I was in my car. For someone who spends hundreds of dollars each week at this whole foods, I was really surprised by her behavior.
I dont like this store at all. The choice of organic food is extremely narrow. The prices are excessively high, for no reason other than greed.I asked an older Southern Lady when will they replenish my favorite Pesto Sauce and she answered me in a condescending tone that they dont carry it anymore, since they have their own in-store made Pesto.I was stunned by her attitude. They also dropped the wight on all Pistachio, Cashew and other nuts from 16 oz to 12 oz, while rising the price by one dollar.I am not shopping at this store, especially after being treated like a bus boy by a store server. Yuk !
I shop at WF frequently and used to always look forward to their soup on the hot bar. Yesterday my daughter asked me to bring her some chicken noodle soup - no problem except there was a problem. The chicken noodle soup had no noodles, none. And very little chicken. Today I got us both some chicken gumbo. It should have been called vegetarian gumbo. My almost $6 container had NO/Zero/Zip/Nada chicken in it. And I purchased it as 11 am so it is not likely I was getting the last bits of it. Also, they used to have a delicious lobster bisque and a New England Clam Chowder. It is rarely there anymore. I think I will forego any soups moving forward!
Unfortunately, theres only one location, and its not very convenient for me. Its also pricey, but I guess thats what you get for items that are presented as all natural or organic. When Ive passed the hot food table, its not very appealing. It looks as though the food isnt rotated often enough and/or it looks dried out. For me, its a bit overrated.
This store is huge in my eyes. Ive only shopped the one @ Green Hills when I do get to Nashville. This one seems larger. The only downside...no Quinoa on the food bar at all. :( I dont know if it changes daily or frequently since I dont have access to one on a more regular basis. I was really hoping for some.
Moved here from Texas. This is nothing like a normal whole foods hardly any produce and the pre made food is almost 25-30% of the store space. I only come here because its the closest grocer to my house. Repeatedly disappointed. They get an extra star just because they make a decent pizza.
Grocery chain specializing in fresh and healthy foods, offering a wide variety of goods including an expanded organic produce selection, specialty foods, bakery, deli, hot bar, salad bar, bulk foods, large wine and craft beer selections.Pros: offers a lot of specialty items that are otherwise hard to get in this area, i.e. vegan foods and kosher/halal foods. Larger selection of organic produce compared to other groceries in the area.Cons: Rather expensive. Location is out of the way.
Not a great selection compared to bigger whole foods. Customer service ladies are always moody. The hot bar barely has vegan options that are not just straight veggies. Poor labeling for allergies. The store seems very cliquey very hard to get help if you dont know someone who works here.
I have shopped at Whole foods for twenty years or more, from Colorado to Atlanta, GA and now in Savannah, GA. Even though the price there is a bit high than Kroger or Publix, I still think the food is worth it. The other day I was there and a check out person said Whole Foods do not accept checks, I am sure I have seen customers paying with checks at Whole Foods----I wonder if it is a tactic for the check out persons to discriminate against people they feel are not able to pay?
Its whole foods. Come on. Service is almost always with a smile. The man who cleans... literally whistles while he works, and I swear, he could do disney movies. The vegan options are great... wish theyd just make more of them so i had a chance to get some if Im not there by 9AM. They are out of chai on a regular at the coffee bar... but when they have it? SODARNGOOD!!
This store is hit or miss, so many times you find the products you came in for are out of stock. Fresh fruits and veggies, waters, milk. So many staples that are just either not restocked or not ordered enough of. So frustrating having to go to Kroger across the street to finish off your grocery list every time.
First of all you could spend all day exploring this Market. They have entrenched themselves in the community by utilizing Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) students to design a mural and other contributions. They try to use local vendors for fruits and vegetables (local, rural, state) first, then within the U.S.Great bakery and other offerings you just cannot find in big grocery retailers.
They are unethical. On December 31, 2016. I bought two boxes of digestive enzymes and one of them had a March, 2015 expiration date. When I brought it back they did not have another to one to give me because the only one left also had an expired date (April, 2016). They would not give my money back, only a store credit. When I explained that I lived in Costa Rica and could not use the credit, they still refused. Dont shop there.
Three stars because of the ridiculous pricing here. Just because a man wants to cook for his family doesnt mean he should be taken advantage of for responsibly sourcing his ingredients. I mean really, $12.99 for a scoop of quinoa! Dont get me wrong, the quality of most of the items here lessen the blow to your wallet but you will still leave questioning if the dollar menu at Macdonalds wouldnt give you more bang for your buck. Thats sad. So 4 stars for quality, 1 star for pricing. Stop gouging us and we can talk Whole Foods. Until then Im sticking to 3 stars.
First I made a trip this morning for a homeopathic treatment by Boron products to buy 30 cc Pustillo and settled for 6cc because they were out of stock. Then tonight I tried to buy Nox Vomita 30cc and once again out of stock.Whats so bad is Im 8 miles from the store, so round trip 16 miles. Thats a lot of wasted gas and the employee acted nice, but really what could she do?So 2 stars for this under performing store and call ahead for remedies, as they really dont do a great job of policing their inventory needs
Closes at 9PM? Is this Best Buy or a grocery store? Mind you the excuses grow more thin when you consider a 24 hour Kroger is around the corner and a 24 IHOP across the street. Right of the Truman Parkway theres plenty of reason to go for late night customers or at least go as far as the Kroger on Mall Blvd and stay open til Midnight.
This is one of the worst whole foods food bar I have had. Here for a week on a business trip and because of allergies I need to know what is in my food so I have go to whole foods. The salad bar selection was horrible - wilted lettuce and no cold meat except for tuna, not even hard boiled eggs! The olive oil and vinegar was always missing and twice had to wait in line to ask for them to stock it. The Breakfast bar was awful - eggs looked very odd, clumpy, and dry. The grits were supper watery. The meats did not have a label so I had no idea what was in it. The lunch and dinner bar was also very limited. The chicken wings were the only thing I could eat and they were way over cooked and super greasy. I have been to many whole foods because i travel a lot and I was VERY disappointed with this one. I could tell the staff are not trained as well or maybe do not take pride in the food quality. I was most disappointed when I saw food that had no labels. The one good thing they did have that I ate more than once was the whole roasted salt and pepper chicken. After three times though it was getting old.
I love Whole Foods especially the chicken salad they have two kinds I like the one with the grapes and nuts in them some people like the Cajun chicken salad but I prefer the one with the grapes in the nuts in it I think its Sonoma Chicken Salad just ask them at the counter can you taste it they will give you a taste of whatever you want to try and see which one you like the best they also have frozen yogurt smoothies beer craft beer they got all kind of beers in the refrigerator that you never heard of before I have lots of samples they have a great selection of seafood I put Lobster from there they have great cherries in the summertime go there and try it youll like it and Saturdays they have a lot of samples so thats a great day to go
My wife & I have been to WF 2X in the past 2 weeks. We live 35 miles north in Bluffton, SC. We love it. Everything is good! Lunch is an extra-special treat when we go there. The WF wine is really very good, surprisingly so for under $3 as bottle! Meats are fresh, delicious. We love Bell&Evans chicken and had not been able to buy it anywhere since we retired here from CT 13 years ago! Now we get it. The breads are superb. We do not eat desserts but we are going to succumb to the gelato bar on the next rip! We are grateful WF is close, of course, we would love a WF in Bluffton or Hilton Head Island.
If you havent been there, go... NOW!!!are you seriously still reading this review? seriously, go see for yourself...WHOLE FOODS is an entirely different shopping experience than any other store in chatham county... all positive vibes... great food, great service... if youre looking for quality, youll certainly find it in Whole Foods.GoddessNoni, certified FOODjUNKY
I have been to at least 16 WFMs within this year alone.(Thats normal right?) This is by far my favorite location. I tend to find that the service at every location has been pretty good across the board. The selection, classes, pub area, fresh juices and hot bar go beyond the normal WFM fare. The cookies, vegan crab cakes(better than the real thing), Channa Masala and Num Num Sauce(Regional product) have all gained their own followings. Seriously. Go. Now!!!
There are still some in the deli who need a course in public relations. A few of the women continue to be rude with snippy attitudes when waiting on customers. Management really needs to address these issues. It has been brought to their attention but apparently theyre not enforcing it.

2022-05-30Whole Foods is a cute, clean, perhaps overpriced store. I like the organic, lactose free milk, and some of their produce. Today I was at the self checkout, trying to figure out the code for the strawberries, and there was a girl (employee) just hanging out by the next door register. I had to ask her to please do it for me because she wouldn’t offer. I like having Whole Foods here in Savannah though, and wish the flowers were fresher, and more affordable. Other than that, it does have clean bathrooms, that’s important!

2022-07-14Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. Prepped foods have nice selection. Lots of gluten free items. You can also easily do amazon returns there. Bring your own bag. A bit pricey but youre getting hard to find healthy items.

2022-07-02This is the best grocery store in the area. The Kroger nearby is unfortunately a disaster, so often it makes sense to pay a little more for higher quality and a better shopping experience--especially of you have a Prime membership and sign up for the Chase Amazon card. The discounts are really quite good and the cash back will balance out the yearly Prime fee.

2022-05-29WHOLE FOOD!!! ALWAYS A GREAT PLACE TO SHOP. There deli is a bit blend, not that great to the taste....but eatable. Very, Very Very expensive because they charge you $10 a lbs fir a plate. Other than that the place has a great atmosphere and is always and i do mean always clean.

2022-06-26We stopped at this location while we were visiting family in Savannah. My daughter purchased some brownies and icecream. I bought some croissants and cheese danishes. Delicious! I would suggest putting a scale next to the bar of soap that is sold by the pound. At $26.00 per pound I would like to know how much it will cost before heading to the cash register. Unless there was one and we missed it. Out cashiers name was Geraldine. She was friendly and fast. My 17 month old granddaughter enjoys talking to her.🙂 Thank you, Geraldine!

2022-05-16Thanks to Jordan, this one of the most interesting wine selections I’ve seen at any Whole Foods Market! Usually in new towns I find my grocery store and then I find my wine place, a rare gem to have both. Thanks for keeping it interesting for all the adventurous wine drinkers :)

2022-05-08No particular remarks for this Whole Foods store. In general, Whole Foods is, in my opinion, a little bit pricy.

2022-07-10Where Im from organic doesnt exist, everything we eat is farm products (Panamá) I was excited about whole foods here. But lord everything is pricey but it seems like in the usa, we need to pay the extra for healthy food. I went to the self checkout and the cashier just stared at me the whole time. It felt so uncomfortable. I looked at her and I thought of asking her if she needed anything or help?! I dont think anyone likes to be stared at without a good bye at least.

2022-05-23I decided to pop in for a coffee while my pup was at petsmart. Their coffee bar closes at 2pm🤯 so decided to grab some sushi... terrible. $11.99 gets you a dry flavorless experience. Publix makes a better sushi.
