Wild Crab in other cities:
The food was hot and the presentation was good. The waitress showed great customer service and the Restaurant was clean. I ordered shrimp, crabs, and mussels for the table. However, the seasoning was missing. The crabs were full of butter with no seasoning. If all of the food was seasoned, it would have been a lot better. I ended up taking my food to go. I went home to season my meal. The three stars is for the waitress. This was definitely not worth $85 and I will not return.
We ordered Bang Bang shrimp and only got 6 Shrimp for $15, it tasted pretty good calamari was good too. My Husband loved his shrimp PoBoy. I ordered the 1/2 pound shrimp with the wild crab special ( all the seasonings in one) in mild and it was still spicy and upset my stomach. My alcohol beverage was order with my appetizers and it came at the end of my whole meal, and was very sugary. Our server kept apologizing and the DJ was awesome. Not sure if Ill be back.
Wild Crab is great food with an even better atmosphere. We have been there three times and are definitely going back. The seafood is so fresh you feel like you are at the beach eating a fresh catch. The food is full of flavor. Haven’t had a bad meal there from the tacos, seafood platter, oysters, to the burgers, all is amazing. You won’t find a more friendly staff that is willing to serve you. If you are stopping in for lunch or dinner, you are missing out.
We were seated fast although it was a late dinner. The waitress was nice and friendly. The atmosphere was nice bathroom was clean. I ordered Cajun Salmon and broccoli fettuccine not spicy at all but ok and my child had Snow Crabs Hot sauce. She enjoyed them so much that she got sick 3 mins afterwards.
Everything average to below average for Wild Crab in Hiram, GA, one of two similarly named places adjacent to each other in Hiram (who knew there was such demand for frozen crab in landlocked Paulding County, GA?). Id never been here before and gave it a try. I had the fried oyster basket with fries. The oysters were tough and rubbery and fried in old dark oil. The cold Cajun frozen fries left a lot to be desired as well. All this deliciousness for just $15 + tax and gratuity! Was given one mass produced tartar sauce in a small cup with a tear off lid. Was expected to eat with cheap plastic fork and knife. Cant a restaurant of this level even provide metal silverware? Should I have taken my meal outside to the parking lot to consume picnic style? My meal was brought to the table by a gentleman who looked like he was on parole and had the enthusiasm of a rock. I wouldnt want to meet this guy in a dark alley. My server girl (who told me everything on the menu was great) disappeared halfway through my meal and I had to ask a bartender for her to return with my check. Her excuse? She was in the back washing crab crackers.I saw orders of some type of food being brought to people in clear plastic trash bags? I have no idea what that was about and it sure didnt whet my appetite. This was when I made the decision to do a tribute to Elvis and leave the building.I also observed no management of any type present in this business.Wild Crab is like most other restaurants with a large bar. They live off overpriced funny named drinks at the expense of the food and service. Guess Wild Crab will have to sink or swim without my disposable income in the future.
Our waitress was more customer centered than the owner/manager.The client is the PRIORITY, DEAR OWNER/MANAGER/BOSS if you see your client In need of a bigger table, you should respect that the client sat on that table instead of kicking out the client so you can use the table for you and your friends. We got there with the hope of giving this place a second chance after an awful experience and the impresion of this place being run by teenagers that don’t care about anything, we had the clear representation of the type of “LEADER” this people have in this place.Nothing to say about the overcooked food served here🤷🏽♀️🤐.I don’t know what’s worst, this place before or after pandemic.
Im definitely a loyal WildCrab guest!! Ive been coming to WildCrab since they opened in 2019. Every time I come, I get great service and great food, but I get even better energy! I love my snow crab fasho that but they got a lot of new good food like the lobster cajun pasta and the seafood dip appetizer. Even if I have a bad experience with the kitchen, the manager, Ashley, takes care of me and my people every time! WildCrab is definitely a go to restaurant.
UPDATED: 1/11/225 star to 0. Waited 45 min to get cold food. The manager took the plates away stacked on top of each other. Received the new bags of food piping hot. This time it only took 12 minutes. I was suspicious and examined my food. Same food they brought me cold was reheated and served to us again! This brings a bunch questions to mind about the quality of the restaurant as a whole. Very disappointed in this visit and in its current state they wont last long! Server was not very good as I believe it was her fault the food was cold in the beginning. I wont be back anytime soon. @50$ a plate. To be treated this way. There is no value to the patrons that are willing to pay these prices for a good meal. This was my wifes birthday meal. Very very disappointed!Old review:Didnt think good seafood was possible in Georgia. They shorted me a lobster tail and Im still not too mad because it was so good.
Server was great, food was good. But dont hand me a specials menu and then tell me you cant make a platter because you are out of oysters. Then hand me a drink menu and you cant make what I ordered because youre out of the liquor. Sounds like poor planning on someones part! Guess we wont be back!
We have been here a few times now and each time the food has awesome and the service is even better. Today, Trey was our server, he was attentive, enthusiastic and so very pleasant. Thank you so much to staff and manager (Peaches!) for a great customer experience ! We will continue to be patrons.
Danielle was an amazing hostess. She was personal, funny, and took great care of us. I went to Juicy Crab to celebrate me graduating from college. Had great music playing, nice seating, food was top tier, and had a great time. Most definitely will recommend and be back again.
When to the Hiram location during Happy Hour . I ordered the Crab and shrimp . The food was delicious. The sauce was perfect ( I cannot eat anything spicy ) . Our server was Trey S. He was perfect . Our glasses were always full , he was very Attentive . And he checked to make sure we were very happy with our meal . I will definitely return and hopefully will have the pleasure of Treys services again . Thanks to all the staff who make this a great experience.
I honestly don’t know how this place is still open. I went yesterday. They didn’t have a lot of items to complete MOST meals on the menu. My crab legs were absolutely horrible. The knuckles on them were black. I cracked one open and noticed a smell so horrible. It was like mothballs and they were so mushy. The sauce is horrible. It took over an hr to get our order but we still had things missing from the bag. & when the waitress asked the manager to smell the food, she had no interest in what they were serving the customers that day. I hope no one gets sick here.
My shrimp was overcooked and my son fries were cold. When we received the new fries, they too were cold. In place of my broiled shrimp, I got great seasoned fried shrimp with cold fries. The customer service was a 4, very polite waitress just a bit forgetful, no one is perfect. The food isnt worth going back. 🤷🏾
Ive been to this location multiple times in the past and received great service, however, after today, will NEVER patronize again. Three black female and one white servers standing up front, doing nothing, other than speaking negatively about the guest. The location was nearly vacant, on a Saturday afternoon, and when I asked to be sitted at a booth, I was told no, because they were on rotation? Then the server went back to the front to discuss my request, negatively with the others. Why would I stay there to be treated with such disrespect??? Guess they forgot Juicy Crab opened a few lights down, with this type of service, probably where the rest of their customers are. HORRIBLE!!!
Don’t come here for the chicken. The shrimp, hush puppies, and fries were fantastic, and the waitress was nice but forgetful, but the chicken is very subpar. For the price of the chicken basket I expected something hand breaded or up to the quality of the shrimp, instead I got basically frozen chicken you’d get from Walmart or the school cafeteria. I give this place two stars for the rest of the food I ate being good and the nice waitress.
We were celebrating my daughters 14th birthday. We had 11 people in our party. Abreanna G. was our server and the service was so subpar!! Everyone at the table received their food except my sister. She final received her food after everyone else finished theirs. Our server was not apologetic nor seemed concerned. The servers sang happy birthday at another table, but our server said they were too busy to sing for us. People were sitting with empty glasses halfway through there meal. When we asked her to clear the table so that we could enjoy the birthday cake, she remove 3 plates from 11 guests!! We asked for to go boxes, and she never returned with them. My brother-in-law had to go get them himself from a station near our table. She automatically added the 18% gratuity onto the check. I know thats the policy, but she did not deserve any of it. I should have said something at the time, but I wanted my daughter to enjoy her birthday dinner. She needs to learn how to work a party. You dont neglect your guest, especially those that are spending over $200 in your establishment. 1st and last time eating here.
Sat down & ordered immediately after being seated. Waited over an hour. All my party & i recd were drinks. It was only 4 of us. There were many other larger parties than mine that entered, were seated, ordered, and had food before my party of 4.Come to find out, the server never submitted the order and constantly walked past our table as if we we not there, so we left and took our business elsewhere.Server may have been overwhelmed, but theres still no excuse for the treatment my party & I received. I wouldnt visit there anymore even if they were the last restaurant on earth.
Took my wife and grandson there for Valentines dinner I will not be going back. The food was terrible I started off with the steamed oysters a half a dozen all of which were a quarter or smaller in size. I had the stuffed crabs which were all stuffing and no crab my wife’s meal was crab cakes her sides were all cold. Very highly disappointed and the price was $100 and my grandson had a hamburger. I have had a better seafood meal at Captain Ds
My family came from out of town and wanted to try a local spot so I took them to wild crab in Hiram and was so embarrassed. We arrived at the restaurant 1 hour before closing time and the first thing we saw walking in was an empty hostess stand and a mop and bucket by the door. We stood in front of the stand for 10 mins before finding the bartender who went to go look for the hostess. We were finally seated and the server was great but we were distracted as we watched the staff clean and mop floors while we were eating our meal. Never have I ever been to an establishment that cleaned up while the patrons were still seated! My family complained and I was ashamed because...why? The cable was off...so we couldnt watch any games. It was just a bad move all around and only highlight were the drinks and server.
Where to start? Went there Saturday 3/26 for dinner.. We were so excited about trying this place, to our surprise as soon as we walked in the hostesses were just leaning on the counter, had to repeat twice table for 2 because they started arguing and yelling to each other because none of them wanted to take us to our table! From 4 girls one just looked at us n walked away, 2 kept arguing all we heard was oh now you go cs I went the last time back and forth, only one of the group, who I think just got tired of the nonsense stood up and got us to our table. We didnt leave just to give it a chance. Music was extremely loud, talked to the manager about the situation with the hostesses and how disrespectful and uncomfortable it was and that they should keep an eye on it, she couldnt care less and just responded that they were young. Mimosas were fine, is not hard to mix OJ and champagne, champagne glasses were dirty tho , food was underseasoned since hot sauce is not a flavor and my Shrimp Alfredo or should I say a bowl of pasta with 7 rubbery overcooked shrimp on top was ok . Now the only reason why I gave 2 stars to this place is because of our server Jasmine, she was an extremely nice young lady who took great care of us. I really wish this restaurant can work on their issues that start from poor management to food flavors since its a great location with potential. As for us first and sadly last time.
Terrible service every time ! Wish I could give them 0 stars cause this is definitely not the place to go too, their very rude & don’t even try. This is the third time I have came & it gets worse every time I loveeee seafood & want to go somewhere & feel welcomed this place is not it. Every time I come the food I get gets smaller & smaller. I have never in my life not tipped & every time I go I end up not even tipping cause of how uncaring/nonchalant they are
Food wasn’t good and the menu is unprofessional because they have prices taped on them. The wait time was long and it wasn’t even that busy. And on top of everything they charged my card more then what they was suppose to. The manager I talked to on the phone was rude and acted like she didn’t understand and made me feel like I was stupid and didn’t know how to read. Said there was nothing she can do about it. So no I will not be eating there again and I don’t recommend.
The Hiram location is horrible. My first indication was the ladies restroom. Absolutely disgusting, filthy sinks and floors, one roll of toilet paper on the baby changing station to share between two stalls. They were out of multiple food and drink items when I tried to order, and I was given a dirty glass to drink from. The homemade chips were store bought tortilla chips with some seasoning sprinkled on, and the seafood dip was clearly made with pump cheese. They also refuse to sub grilled proteins for the overwhelming amount of fried selections on the menu.
Food had a kick but it was bland…for it to be a seafood boil they were scarce with the butter sauce/wild sauce. When I opened my bag none of my seafood was coated. I went home and made a butter sauce to add to it. My first time trying crawfish and I won’t try again because it literally had no flavor…I gave it 2 stars because of the spice but I’ll make seafood at home especially after spending $100 for bland sauce less seafood.
Really cool ambiance inside and a nice bar. However, some of the visual is marred by the cheap plastic shower curtains hung to divide the booths. The service was surprisingly excellent and everyone that worked there greeted me with a smile, wished me a great day and even waved. I felt a little like I was at Disney. But when it came to the food I was very disappointed. Of course, I should not have expected much when I ordered the catfish basket at a place called WildCrab but for $15 the four piece catfish basket with sweet potato fries disappointed. Three of the catfish pieces were clearly just a single filet cut into separate parts and the fourth piece was a nugget that I ate in two bites. The sweet potato fries were limp and soggy and I didnt even get half of them down. The draft Blue Moon wasnt working so I settled for a Yuengling beer which was okay. With tip I left there for $25 but felt like the food experience was something I could have gotten at Captain Ds. Definitely need to try this place again with something like the crab legs.
Ordered a drink and was told they didnt have the mix for it. Waiter brought something else already made without asking. My husband paid while I was in the rest room. When I returned I saw we were charged for both drinks. Waiter said that a refund was not possible and they had to give us a gift card. Dont really need a gift card for a place I will not return to.
Nice seafood sports bar environment. I am here from Dallas, TX. as a father, granddad visiting my daughter, son-n-law and my two grandchildren, BIG HUGS, ages 7 & 2. My son-n-law selected this spot to take his mother, father and the rest of us to celebrate his moms birthday and Wild Crab staff sung Happy Birthday. All seven of us enjoyed ourselves and our meal. Our waitress Cailyn was AWESOME she impressed us all she took all of our various orders by memory and when the food arrived all seven orders were 100% correct, Thank You Cailyn... Wild Crab, also has an outdoor covered patio seating and eating area, wheelchair accessible for the brick and mortar. You will LOVE their HUGE WIDE WALL SCREEN SIZE TV at the bar. Huge enough, large enough to see from afar throughout the bar. To answer your ? Yes, there are more TVs throughout, so where ever you are seating you can cheer, scream and shout at the games..I do recommend you take the family, friends, co-workers for birthdays, anniversaries and have business meetings, B2B networking events, etc. When I am back in town or if I decide to relocate from Dallas, TX. back to ATL metro area, Ill be sure to make Wild Crab one of my main spots......MY FIVE (5) STAR RECOMMENDATION for Wild CrabExpeditiously, make your inaccessible (ADA/WCAG) website accessible and compliant to all disabled people . (ADA) Americans with Disabilities Act and (WCAG) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines compliant. I hope they make the website (ADA/WCAG) accessible and compliant very soon, so I can update from a 4Stars to a 5STARS happy customer review, resulting in more customers enjoying a Wild Crab meal at the establishment or from the comfort of their home.Just the opinion of a July 10, born Wild Crab Cancer....
Back in May this place had lost my business for sure. Today I came back with a friend and it was excellent! The service was great and our server Breanna was soooo sweet and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was wonderful. If you had a bad experience around this summer, give them another try. Ask for Breannas section. :-)
Come here pretty regularly but tonight was my first time sitting at the bar and being served by Tijuana. As soon as we sat down she had HIGH Friday night energy and was very welcoming and served us with loads to of pleasantries. Definitely wanted to give her raving review. Wild crab should definitely Keep her as bartender!!!
So mine and my boyfriend first time here. First off no wait and the music was great good ole 90s r&b and hip hop. We both ordered the king crab and it was over cooked badly. We couldnt even crack with the the tool, it was too soft. The waitress tells us afterward each one of the crab legs that was over cooked theyd replace but that was after we had already tried to eat the crab If you go get the snow crab instead. I recommend the Bob Marley drink as well even if it is 13
I just had my first visit here and as an avid seafood lover I must say it was just okay. I ordered a 1/2 lb of snow crab clusters and 1 lb of shrimp house seasoning hot and it missed the mark. Crabs were overly prepared. The bar area was nice and it was clean inside. Waitress was very pleasant. I also tried the Henny Colada and it was nothing special. I probably wont be visiting again. Juicy Crab is much better in my opinion.
We came here and were forgotten. Service was terrible. The experience to try and make things right was worse. This was not what we hoped. Our family cannot recommend this location due to the lack of integrity and character from management and staff. It was not worth $100 for 2 people. We did not get anything we asked for. It was NOT a pound of crab or close to that. No silverware. We made several attempts to make things right with no resolution.
Super disappointing. We had four in our group. My husbands oyster poor boy was the best at the table. He also ordered “mild” chicken wings, which had so much spice on them they were inedible. Chicken dinner was one breast sliced in half and nothing special at all. Ordered 1 Lb snow crab (they were out any other types), which consisted of two small crab half’s, one small red potato, and a half ear of corn for 34!! The flavor was funky and didn’t taste fresh. The Crab chowder was served not hot . We sent back the soup, crab, and the wings and left the restaurant hungry.
Michelle Is an Excellent server. She was Very prompt and courteous. Very knowledgeable about menu. She was very quick and she kept our drinks full. And she checked on us periodically. Superb waitress skills. Michelle has the skills to be a fine manager one day! Keep up the excellent customer service skills Michelle!
Hands down, the best!!! My family and I are no strangers to crab restaurants. We have frequented many, including Juicy Crab. The food is amazing, the service was the best and the atmosphere was nice. Our server, Michelle B., took very good care of us. She was very informative and knew exactly when to check on us and when to just let us enjoy our food.We will definitely come again!
Caviat emptour, please triple check your order before you walk out, today is the second time I have ordered with the family, spending over $150, and they forget my extra pound of shrimp, you can’t call them as they don’t answer the phone. The food is great, just check your bag!!!
Great experience! The staff was super-nice. We had Tré (I think thats his name) as our server. He was excellent and very patient with our children. Will definitely come back. Oh, it was our sons birthday, and they all sang happy birthday. I didnt know restaurants still did that. It made his day. Thanks.
This is a great spot!! The atmosphere is fantastic, very upbeat and fun. Had excellent service at the front of the house, decent service at the bar and fantastic service at the table. Our server, Alyssa, was very attentive and the food was served fast, hot and full of wonderful flavors! Will definitely come back!!
This was our first time here at the Wild Crab. We were greeted by the wait staff Nyla and another woman. Exceptional service!! My mother asked Nyla about the menu and she told us all about the menu and we sat down.We were greeted by Yoni P, our server. Yoni has delivered over and beyond the line of duty for a server. He explained the menu, explained the wait time and assisted us with our menu options. We ordered the Garlic Oyster as a appetizer and man they were amazing!!My mother ordered the Salmon BLT and when it came out, boy it was huge!!!She received the sweet potato fries and Yoni asked her what dipping sauce she wanted and he brought it to her.I ordered the broil combo with crab legs, shrimp and crawfish. I loved it so much they brought out a bucket to put our trash in it with gloves. The taste of the food was delicious and once Yoni checked on us we were certainly full.He got us our to go boxes and we paid himWe also gave him a compliment and the manager told us to put it here.Yoni, THANK YOU AGAIN. YOU MADE OUR DAY!!
It was good not as seasoned as Juicy Crab yet still flavorful. The drinks were okay Ive had better but okay. The waiter Tyriq I think was helpful and polite. Babe ate all his popcorn shrimp and enjoyed the big screen TVs. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Theres one on Ponce which will be closer we didnt know that so well visit it next time. The atmosphere and service won us over plus the food wasnt bad a little less flavored but not bad. Last date night of the year was here lol.☆☆☆update reheated leftovers and they were even better the next day so bomb!
The customer service was good but amount and size of the crab was ridiculous. Understanding supply chain issues and getting product but when my daughter lifted her glass to sip her drink a Roaches was under it on the table when I informed the manager she didnt apologize just stood blank faced. This wasnt my first time there but will not be returning ever.
The kitchen forgot to make my order then management tried to tell me they discounted the $4 Happy Hour Margarita I ordered... that was still $4 at check out. I waited 45mins and was dining along. The two top behind me got their food before I did. Still tipped 18% but that was generous... do better folks.i was charged for eggs and it wasnt even available...Wont be back.
My family and I ate here on yesterday and the food was amazing. Not only was the food amazing, but the service was excellent. Peaches and Alyssa exceeded our expectations of customer service. They are superb in customer service and satisfaction. They are amazing ladies, and great at what they do. You can definitely tell Peaches knows how to run an establishment with trained and skilled workers. Thank you ladies for all that you do. It shows you have great people skills, even my 15 month old grandson noticed❤️. The two of these ladies made him smile our entire time being there. The music is also a definite plus! Loved, loved, loved it!! The environment is loving, joyful and laid back. Keep doing what you are doing ladies, you are changing lives in such positive ways. Thank you! God bless.
What I liked about this restaurant was how quickly they were able to accommodate a large party of 17 people and they don’t take reservations. Great job there!I liked our waitress Alicia who was nice and patient taking our order. My drink, the Purple Haze was yummy but my food unfortunately fell all the way flat.I ordered Combo C which consisted of 1 snow crab cluster, shrimp, a mini corn, and 2 red skin potatoes. I requested the Wild Crab sauce with spicy seasoning. My seafood boil came spicy but very dry. As shown in the accompanying picture, I had zero liquid in my bag which I a believe is why my food was bland and lacked flavor.I requested sauce which was delivered in a few minutes but it did not help at all. I may try this place again when I visit Georgia but I am not in any rush to do so as I was not happy. I loved the amount of shrimp received but the crab cluster was very small which I did not like.
My family and I came to have dinner here last night and the staff were incredible! The hostess greeted us very nicely and got us a table right away! Our Waitress seemed very happy to be there and we connected with her very well, and she got us our food and drinks in a timely manner. The Waitress also made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I have to say, we will definitely be coming back again and enjoy the staffs smiling faces and delicious food very soon!
Came in to the restaurant with my family and had an amazing time. The host were sweet and got us a table in a timely manner. The drinks were strong and really cute. Our snow crabs were seasoned wonderfully. The managers Peaches and Ashley came by regularly to check on us and other tables, I also got a margarita personally made by the other Manager Paris and it was delicious! My family and I had a great time and will be back to bring friends.
The waiter was the best. He continued to check on us but not in an annoying way. Now the food was good but portions could use some work. I had Fried Calamari. The calamari was so thin, it was more fried than calamari. The favor of the fried was good. I also had the mild King Crab Legs, potatoes, corn and added eggs for about $45. There was 1 King Crab leg cut in 3 pieces. So you really only get 2 pieces because the tail does really count as a piece. Very spicy for mild. My friend had a Fish Po Boy and fries. Both had water. Total was $70. Too expensive for what you get. I would visit again but for different food items.
Oh. My. God!!!!Now before I begin, I am not usually picky about my food and was hence, unsure what to get. I got the Combo C because that’s what sounded the best of the three. And by god, everything was perfect. Everything blended together smoothly. The sweet(ish) taste of the snow crab and the shrimp mixed with Cajun sauce was divine ✨. Came in hungry, left full to the brim. And the server was so nice! Even helped me pick something out! So worth it. Definitely come here!
My waitress was Peaches! Let me tell you she was fabulous. I go out every other weekend to eat out. I must say I have not had this much good service in a long time. Not only was she marvelous I just loved the restaurant. It was open and clean. The decor was great. I will definitely be back!
It was quite a far piece to drive to try this place. When we arrived the prices were at least 15% higher than what they were on their website. I had the shrimp dinner. It had 8 small shrimp and a bunch of fries. They pretty much appeared to be just large popcorn shrimp (which was what my colleague had and seemef to be a much better bargain)There was prepackaged Kens cocktail sauce in little individual servings. I would think for a $14 meal you would have homemade cocktail sauce or at least cocktail sauce that wasnt prepackaged. The shrimp was kind of spicy and the fries were not well done. Not at all worth the price- maybe worth 9.95. As I far as I know the prices have increased by $2 twice since they opened. The waitress was attentive and polite. I drank water, as the drinks were quite pricey. This was at lunch time and it would have been nice to have some lunch specials instead of just the dinner price menu.
I ordered the (A) combo with the Wild Crab Sauce in hot. The sauce had good flavor but way too thin like water. It was like eating a seafood broth soup. The sauce needed lots more garlic and butter. The shrimp were also too tiny. I dont wanna have to fancy the meal up after I get home.
I ordered the shrimp and crab leg broil and my husband ordered the grilled salmon with rice and broccoli. We also has hushpuppies and calamari for an appetizer. EVERYTHING was delicious and FRESH!Weve been to Juicy Crab a few years back and was not impressed. So, coming to Wild Crab, we kind of expected it to be the same and it wasnt AT ALL.The restaurant was clean and welcoming, the staff we encountered were polite. Our server was good at what he did and recommended really good dishes. Also, we can bring our kids here. It was a pretty good family environment.I just wish they played a variety of music genres. It was pretty much 90s R&B the entire time. Kind of one sided...
The positives: The seafood is great, people were nice. The house sauce was pretty dang good! This is a 4 star review for a reason!)Negatives: Peach lemonade tasted like Minute Made with peach added and cheese sticks werent worth it. (5 made from frozen mozzarella sticks with packaged sauce for $8? Pass.)If I get really nit-picky, the eggs are very overpriced and giving 3 tiny potatoes which cant cost more than a nickel each with my $60 worth of seafood seems a little silly, but I still enjoyed everything. This is just for those who want a perfect experience to have a play-by-play.
Really like Friday nights it gets busy but the food still came out at a reasonable time. The manager Ashley was really nice and offered us something extra for our wait.the music was real chill and even switched to more current music towards the end of the night which was really a vibe
We had a blast. Michelle was so freaking helpful n awesome 👌. She was the example of the perfect waitress. She did everything right. Im a waitress at red lobster so I know. Give Michelle a raise. She is going to be an awesome manager. She said she has only been there a few wks. She is amazing. Everything was bomb as well. Especially the music. We will be back n I sure hope that Michelle is working. She is who I want. Thanks for being so awesome Michelle. Never change. God bless you.
Just left this restaurant with my family celebrating my brothers birthday. I walked to ask the server if they do anything for birthdays and on my way I slipped and fell in a puddle of water that wasn’t marked. My knee hit the ground and I twisted my ankle. Not one person other than my mom came to assist me or see was I ok. The staff laughed. When my mom reported it to the “manager” she let us know that the staff told her I slipped not fell. She said she would have to look at the camera to verify that I fell not once did she ask was I ok or did I need anything. After about 10 minutes she came back with a piece of copy paper and asked me to write my name and number down we asked for an incident report she said they didn’t have any. I have never been treated in such a way or seen someone be treated like that after a slip and fall especially when the place has water on the floor without signage. After I got up they put a chair over the spill and a sign. Horrible experience!
Took our grandson and his family out for his birthday. The server was very good. When she brought our check it included a suggested tip amount. I prefer to tip in cash. I scratched through the tip amount ($16.11) and entered food total of $97.00 as total and gave server $20.00 in cash. When I checked my credit card account the total charged to me included the tip. I attempted to contact the restaurant but only get a recording that says the mail box is full. I have disputed the charge through American Express but will not be eating here again. Do they do this to every ticket? Not a good business practice.
Ordered a combo of mussels, shrimp, snow crab legs with butter and garlic seasoning only and the crabs were missing. We advised our server and the missing item never showed and what was delivered was hot and spicy. Advised the manager as she passed by and they quickly delivered what we ordered, but I was not cooked. Poor experience ,never to return. The oyster poboy was ok
Extremely underwhelming. Paid $70 for 2 clusters of legs, about 5 shrimp, and completely over cooked mushy crawfish. We asked our server about the portion size considering we ordered a combo with a half pound of crab legs plus an additional 1/2 pound and he said that 1 cluster is equal to a half pound. The music was so loud you couldn’t hear the person next to you. On the bright side calamari was good and we were able to fill up on that. Server was inattentive and rude.
Wild Crab in Hiram was a great disappointment. Our party waited over an hour to get cold food and when we asked for the food to be reheated, it was brought out cold a second time. The server got orders incorrect and did nothing to correct them. The food we did receive was cold and burned. They did not have many menu items available including food and drink options. I watched as my child’s food sat on the bar and I had to retrieve it myself (barely any people in the building) and the worst part was they charged me 18% gratuity for such a horrible experience.
This place was nice. It has a really good atmosphere, the waitress that served me was extremely friendly and helpful with my first visit. I tried the 3 choice meal, which was a choice of your shellfish, the sauce you want, and the spice level. The food I ordered was cooked well, had amazing taste, and will warrant more visits from me. Definitely recommend this place.
The atmosphere and food was absolutely incredible let me start off with that. However the service was absolutely terrible . Me and my girlfriend was seated for 15 minutes before our drink order was taken . We watched as 2 tables around us sat down , ordered drinks , ordered food, and ate there food then got up and left. By that time we had only got our drinks and not even been asked if we wanted to order food. It was such a headache that we ended up asking other servers for things several times because ours was no where to be found and when she was around she would leave immediately without making sure we didnt need anything else . One example is when our food did come out she didnt bring us a bucket, napkins , bibs , nothing ..... We spent nearly 300 dollars this night and for what , bad service ? I can promise we will not be back .
My boyfriend and I went here for the first time, and it was AWESOME!!!! The drinks were amazing. We had the King crabs with wild crab sauce, which was delish!! We also had raw oysters which were fresh and huge. Our waitress was Pamela. She was so sweet, energetic, and knowledgeable. She made our first experience very pleasant. We had to brag on her a little to the Manager Paris, who was also extremely nice. You must visit, sit in Pamela’s area if you can.
The atmosphere was fantastic! We loved the decor and also the lighting was great! Simple menu and amazing early bird special! Peaches was our waitress and she was excellent! Very attentive and very polite. If there was one negative I would say that the shrimp were a tad over cooked. Amazing flavor, just a little over cooked. We will definitely be returning! Looking forward to it!
Wow-- been here a few times before and holy cow, this place had turned from okay to amazing! The menu additions are perfect and our service with Kayleen has top notch. She was the most attentive and friendly server weve had in years. Will be back and hope she is our server! Thank you!
Very disappointed! I could not believe the level of service and lack of customer satisfaction displayed last night. Wild crab has always been our family “go to” spot for family celebrations, so we came with our party faces on but left with disappointment. Our service....I would understand if the restaurant was busy, but in my opinion, for a weekend it was fairly manageable. We had a large booth near where the DJ use to be (happy that’s no longer! Although the “boom box” in the corner could stand to be a little more diverse with the music selection), we saw our server to take drink orders, and being the check, but I can’t say we saw her much outside of that, which smelling like marijuana, probably worked out for the better. The hostess was not welcoming. Employee enthusiasm seems to have taken a decline from what we once experienced. Food was still at a high, a little salty but other than that no complaints in that department. Please get back to what we know and love Wild Crab!
Asked to be seated outside which they accommodated.Sat outside for 22 minutes with no one asking to take our orders. Then a waitress walks by and says no one is assigned to serve our table. We ask to sit inside and were assigned a new table.Sat at the new table for another 15 minutes when finally a waitress walks back and says she would be back to take my order. She leaves and doesn’t return for another 10 minutes.I was able to place an order 47 minutes after being seated.Still waiting on the water I asked to drink with my orders almost an hour later. How could business likes this continue to stay in business with the service being so poor?My second time here and bummed out cause I was so excited when it opened in my town.
Party of 2, seated immediately in the afternoon @ 4 pm, server was attentive and patient, and food came out within 10 minutes. This places special combos are the best, mild still made my nose run a little so beware. The drinks are especially good, they make them a little strong.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. The food was great to. We ordered the fried tilapia and fried catfish. It comes with fries cajun for regular. Food was cooked perfect with a crunchy outside and it was served very hot. Its a bit pricey(14.00 for lunch) however it was great food for the price.
Fell in love with this place because of our favorite server Peaches. We have been here so many times and never had a bad experience. The food is amazing and the drinks are even better! Even when Peaches section is full or she’s not working she always make sure our experience is 100% amazing !
The hostess almost sat us down at a dirty table. Our food was horrible...the corn tasted like it was freezer burnt and the seafood had no flavor. The waitress was good but we had to remind her to give us refills. Really disappointed because the food doesnt taste like when they first opened and the restaurant isn’t up to par with its cleaning considering that we are in the middle of a pandemic. Never coming back.
My first time there it was great!!! I enjoyed my meal po-boy shrimp sandwich with sweet potato fries, And a great margarita will go again and take my senior friends with me, Service was great too and the manager came by to check and see if we, Were having a good time or needed anything, Very personable people serving you.
Im from Atlanta and a regular of a good crab boil. Ive given this place 2 chances and they have failed both. Went in just last Monday and there is a sign posted stating that basically your service will be slow bc they are understaffed. When the greeter returned, we asked how long was the wait and she told me 20 minutes to be seated and even longer to get the food. We asked to sit at the bar and she stated the bar was closed bc they wasnt a bartender. Ill take my money back to the city, where they are ALWAYS fully staffed...
Our server was nice & the daiquiri was tasty. That’s the extent of positive from this “special” occasion dining experience. We had an uncomplicated order- their main fare. It took so long to get our food and worse, the freshly steamed crab legs were ice cold. So many employees wandering aimlessly on their cell phones, I can only assume no manager was on site. Will not return.
My experience wasn’t too great. The fish baskets were way too small for the price. It’s basically overpriced Captain D’s. I can understand “US “ loving the atmosphere, but it’s nowhere near worth the price I paid for two baskets and a boil. Oh, and the food was terrible. Close down. Hell.
First time visiting here and very underwhelmed. The appetizer was quite small and flavorless. My boil bag of muscles were mealy and quite unappetizing and one potato, and one corn is a joke. Sandwich and fries we also had were bland. The best part was our waiter. For the Cajun style cooking they have nothing on places like the juicy crab.
Where to start? Michelle, our server, was amazing! Funny, sweet and game was on point. I know she elevated our experience. The food was magnificent!! Great portions, seasoning, and the flavor was out of this world. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quality dining experience. Will be returning soon!
The food was amazing... BUT lets talk about the bartender Jessie..... she was phenomenal... every drink tasted perfect and she even introduced my Husband and I to some new drinks. We had a great time laughing and getting to know her while sitting at the bar. She made our date night memorable and whenever were back home in GA we definitely will pay her a visit along with getting some great food (except the crawfish, Hubby didnt enjoy those). Just in case youre wondering what we did enjoy/order it was: snow crab, king crab, black mussels, shrimp, sausage, corn, and potatoes. Medium had a nice kick and we had the house sauce. Drinks: vodka lemonade peach and the drink with the razzmatazz.
My fried basket just ok. My husband got a steamed combo and said it was really good. Our waitress was really good. But the MUSIC OMG! We walked in the door at 5 oclock and I had to ask the hostess 3 times what she said. We couldnt carry on a conversation across the table and there were only about 5 tables of people that early. Then at about 5:30, a DJ starting playing club music even louder. The staff were sitting and standing around empty tables dancing.. The atmosphere was horrible. we invited my son and his 3 year old to dinner, Im so glad they didnt come.
Picked up my order tonight and I always order the same thing, cilantro lime medium.. Well tonight they must have given me the wrong order. I tasted this bag and my mouth and stomach are on fire!! I’ve been trying to call for the last 20 min but since they’re closing soon they keep hanging up. I just wanted to return this order. I can’t speak to a manager to complain to if you won’t answer the phones. Bad customer service.
This was my first visit to Wild Crab. I was not impressed! The server brought a bucket to throw my shells in that had already been used. It was full of someone elses garbage. The price were higher than I expected. The food was good once I figured out all the seasoning was in the bottom of the bag. This was not a great experience.
READ COMPLETELY ‼️‼️ IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD.On April 16th at 10:05 pm, I called Wild Crab 5 times to place an order. The line rang at first then it went to voicemail. The mailbox is full. After the the first attempt I proceed 4 more times and then the line was “busy”. I decided to order in person since I live close to Wild Crab. At this point it’s 10:20 and they close at 11pm per Google maps, and all online platforms. I arrived to the most UNPLEASANT hostess who did not have a name tag (go figure). She was on her phone when I approached her, she did not greet me, or acknowledge me. I spoke to her .. expressed to her that I called number ours times with no answer and that I decided to come in to place my order instead. She stated that she already took the last order for tonight. I asked how long ago that was because I called at 10:05 with no answer. She said 10:20 and I said really because I’ve been calling since 10:05. She proceed to say that they already took the last order to the night. She then proceed to say the kitchen WILL NOT MAKE ANYTHING. I then asked for her manager, she left didn’t tell me to hold on, that she will be back, nothing. I stood there confused .. and the hostess comes back with the manager, Ashley. I expressed to Ashley everything I’ve experienced because this service was HORRIBLE. Hostess was rude, unpleasant, and who wants to be in an establishment that does not acknowledge PAYING CUSTOMERS. Properly training your staff as well as honoring your business hours needs to happen ASAP if you want this business to thrive. My family and I WILL NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS.
Trey has taken care of us a few times, excellent seafood and fantastic drinks, will definitely be back, he is the main reason we drive to this vs other places closer to home. If Trey is our server we will always be back, he is the reason for the success of the business.
My favorite hangout place with my Bestfriend. Food is DELISH!!! But it’s my experience with Peaches for me...the BEST SERVICE I have EVER had at any restaurant. I would say ask for her when you come in but I have to make sure she available for Me! The other servers will not disappoint :)

2022-04-26Lauren and Katelyn is the truth when it comes to superb customer service. Absolutely great with the recommendations and quick service. No wait at all to be seated nor for the food to arrive! Hands down the best lunch Ive had in a while. Thanks ladies!!! Fried lobster ravioli is to die for. And my friend really enjoyed his burger too. The mild wings made me sweat in a good way. Definitely will be back, keep up the great work.

2021-12-24The food was hot but it needs more seasoning. The customer service was exceptional because Jordan waited on me for my to go order. He answered all of my questions since it was my first time here. The chicken wings with the wild crab sauce in hot was really good with no complaints. 😍 The potatoes were a little hard so they need to be cooked more. Shrimp and mussels were also cooked to perfection and the Garlic Parmesan Oysters were a favorite. Add more garlic to your sauce and less salt and you will perfect it’s flavor. Also, my snow crab was extremely over cooked because there was no meat to pull out.

2021-11-16I read reviews and was excited to go here. Today was my daughters 14th birthday 🎂🎉 🥳 so we decided to go. It was not crowded and we had to wait a few minutes to be seated. We got crab legs, lobster pasta, fish, and cheese sticks. I told the waitress Daisy in the beginning it was my daughters birthday. She said they would sing and bring out a small $5 cake. I was like thats great. It didnt take long to get the food. The food looked spectacular. Although, my pasta was cold and lobster rubbery. The fish was cold and bland. The crab legs were skinny and not worth the price. Had to ask for a cracker instead of my daughter using her teeth. The best thing was the cheese sticks. Definitely was not worth $100 and we will not be going back. Only reason I gave 3 stars was because the atmosphere, quick service, and the waitress was nice.We will not be going back. Ill wait until Juicy Crab opens in the Target plaza up the street. I was disappointed because she forgot my daughters birthday!☹️

2022-06-19My very first experience here was absolutely amazing whenever they first opened! My kids, wife, and I had a lot of fun. The second time we came, was awful. The picture depicted was a forty dollar meal on the left, and a thirty dollar meal. The two stars were for our first time for being amazing. Thats how bad the last time was. We sat for an hour and a half before food had arrived.

2021-12-17Excellent seafood! The food was really good and the service was great. I would definitely come here again. We also had drinks, (a mango margarita and the “oh honey”) those were also made very well.

2022-03-06Worst place I’ve eaten in quite a long time! Server was quite accommodating however, being served in a plate that was fresh from the dollar store and had not even been washed before use was quite disturbing, especially in these times. Food was adequate but cannot say was worth the $80 tab that went with it; was nowhere near good enough to warrant that hefty price tag. Manager was rude and threatening when I expressed my concerns, even screaming at me in front of a filled restaurant. Have not seen this level of unprofessionalism, ever. Bathrooms were horrendous, cannot even post the pics of the commodes. Sadly, chemicals left out under the sink for anyone, even small children, to get into. Very saddened at our experience! Buyer BEWARE!!!

2021-10-12Food was great, service also good. Strangely disjointed seating process; maybe there was confusion from the photo shoot going on in part of the restaurant. More food than we could eat! Forgot to take a photo but we liked the baked oysters. The medium house sauce is just spicy enough. Go early and get the happy hour pricing.

2022-04-11This business is the opposite of environmentally conscious. Plates, silverware, containers, bags, gloves, aprons etc are all made of non-recyclable plastic. This is an enormous amount of landfill that this place produces every day, which is simply unacceptable given all the compostable/recyclable alternatives available nowadays. Will be bring my business elsewhere.
