I had a great time at the Disc Golf course, however, I found it kind of ironic that this course is small and there was WAY more poison ivy then the other courses Ive seen. It takes minimal spraying to manage it, maybe an hour at most considering how much sq feet we are talking. I know they dont charge on entry, and that the park itself doesnt have a big budget, and that disc golf courses are maintained generally through local volunteering. It just seemed like such an easy task that Im surprised it wasnt taken care of appropriately during the early season.
Great, beginner-friendly but still challenging disc course. Well-manicured with diverse hole-play, the course plays through a public park while hardly overlapping other activity areas. Tees and baskets are in good shape but tee-signs are showing their age. Bring a course map!
Maybe it was because it was a day after the rain or the equestrian event happening nearby but this course sucks. The layout doesn’t make any sense at all, people walk into the hole without any regard, and people from the horse riding competitions will set up on the fairway.Staff is kind though. They retrieved a disc, called, and returned my disc to me.
Challenging course, and fun when dry, this course is not suitable for beginners. Not well maintained. Signage is iffy at best. Do not play here after rain, its a muddy mess. Poor drainage, combined with poor maintainance, broken bridges, and a confusing layout makes for some slippery muddy times. You will need good disc control on days when the weather is good because the park gets very busy and much of the course is very close to or crosses crowded paths, and runs alongside parking lots. Plenty of little streams create water hazards on many of the holes. Several wooded area holes are quite scenic, and hole 11 is very fun, there is no fairway.
This is a fun disc golf course, but the signage could definitely benefit from updating. Most holes have missing or extremely faded hole map/par information. Also, the big course map on the wall of the restroom building at the start of the course (near the tennis courts) is now gone.
The first 9 are pretty straight forward while the back 9 are predominately more difficult with heavier tree coverage along the course. There tends to be more mud on the back 11-15 or so as well. The practice basket is a nice bonus along with the small field for practicing. It appears to be pretty popular as you always run into other disc golfers.

2022-06-05This is a great park, with nice walking trails, a basketball court, 2 playgrounds, baseball fields and a nice swimming pool with 2 diving boards, Mondays are residents day only for the pool. They close at 8 p.m. which was awesome, due to the 30 minutes we had to wait to get in.

2020-10-18Weave your way through Wills Park, crossing creeks, through dense trees and brush, around tennis courts, horseback riders, picnickers and strollers. First time disc course players will wander a bit, as directional signage between holes is spare. But on a beautiful day, this course is terrific.

2021-08-24As much we enjoyed our day in that park, for a disc-golfer is a very crowded place to play. Maybe is just the day we went was super busy; horse riding on the course, playground w kids very close to the baskets. The holes are placed next by walking paved trail and some of them on top of the creek. Didn’t loose any discs fortunately. But we had to be super careful when we used out discs. The park is awesome for other activities thought.

2019-09-27Fun course. Beware people walking, just need to keep an eye out. Also, can be pretty busy around 5-7 during the week with baseball games, runners, tennis and other disc players. Not a great course for beginners due to all the trees on the back 9 and lots of opp for water fouls. Front 9 are very short and easy. Only one par 4 if I remember correctly it is hole 14.

2020-05-26Wills park is one of my favorite courses to date; it is a tight and technical course with many water hazards. If youre going to play, make sure you wear shoes you dont mind getting wet!

2020-11-07This course has had some major improvements done in the last year. It has it all for a variety of fairways. Some wooded holes, technical, and open. There are not specific markings to the next tee, a sense of disc golf direction is required, but not too difficult to navigate. The course runs along a small creek, making it more interesting. Highly recommend for a must play.

2021-01-24It was extremely busy today. The course is very technical for the most part. A lot of park goers dont respect disc golf boundaris. They will stroll on the course, take pictures with the baskets while people are playing the course, throw frisbees at the baskets while disc golfers are throwing. All of that happened today.
