Great place to work out. It would be great if you could use your key card to use the tanning bed. Over all a great gym. One thing that could use a improvement is the shower room has two showers but with only one small bench to put your stuff on. I mean its a really small bench. There is plenty of room for two more benches. Realistically only one person at a time can take a shower.Update: wow! The gym totally closed down because of the virus and these people are still billing my card. Pretty low at a time like this. They should stop billing everybody until they can open the doors
Foul language? It’s 2021 spare me the sermonizing. Everyone reading this should know the lady working there who signed me up was just as rude as the ones who told me to leave. Pay the extra 10 dollars a month and go up the road to Anytime Fitness. You can take your kid with you if need be. And the worker there told me I sound like “a woman” whatever that means.
The gym is usually clean and tight unfortunately I had to cancel my membership due to poor customer service and the lack off availability when it comes to the trainers even though I canceled my membership Im still currently getting charged 2 months later! I would not recommend going here if youre looking somewhere that appreciates your business.
I cancelled back in February over the phone and instead of canceling my membership, they said they did and had me continue to pay. They even told me I would have to pay for March which was fine. I guess I should have been skeptical when the person helping me was rude and hung up on me after stating it was cancelled.
Ive been a member of Workout Anytime for 2 years now and I enjoy the convenience of going to their gyms. However, when I went to this gym I did not have a pleasant experience. Upon entering, I was told that the bar code on my key chain did not scan properly and the operator could not identify me as a member. Instead of simply calling my home gym or going through any plausible method of verifying my membership, I was simply turned away from a nearly vacate gym that had about 4 or 5 people in it. I will not be returning to this location or any other rural location (if you get what Im saying). Im staying in the city.
My husband and I used to work out at this gym. We love this place! We would still be here if they offered childcare. They had everything we needed. But unfortunately with our hectic schedules we needed someone to keep our children so we could both work out, whether it be together, or I went to work out while he was at work. Possibly when our children get older we will come back!
This gym is way too warm, and now moist because the temperature has not been adjusted for the weather. It’s humid and gross. If it’s was kept at a cooler temperature this wouldn’t be an issue. Nobody wants to work out in a sauna. If people buy into the idea that they lose more weight if they sweat more, they can wear a sweatsuit. As for the rest of us that are well aware that’s an outdated concept, we like to work out in a cool, crisp environment, not a recreation of the weather conditions in the Amazon rainforest. I love how affordable the monthly fee is, but at this point I would pay more to not have to deal with the warm, moist air in there.
Very pleased with the gym always clean and plenty to workout with the staff was awesome my wife and I will be using for the long run ..and the hydro chairs are perfect for after a good workout ...when are they back open 24 hours..my schedule is hectic
I agree with Sam and Ash Powell. My overall experience has been very good but they should allow members to tan with their membership card. Workout Anytime has local competition that does allow tanning without staff being there.
I recently joined and its a decent place but i am glad i also kept my membership at my other gym... this is a decent place if you want to walk on the treadmill. however the weight section leaves a little bit to be desired. the dumbells are junk and dont go up heavy enough at all... there is only 1 bench press and 1 incline press (which is always in use). not to mention the lay out of the weights area is very cramped. if you have someone working out next to you, you will almost have to take turns so you arent bumping shoulders. i think they could get rid of about 5 pieces of equipment that noone uses and it would free up a good bit of space. i avoid going in in peak times so i am not tripping over people.the staff is friendly but not really caring when you bring a request to them or a question to them. the tanning beds are pretty good (but can only use them during staffed hours (should be available with key card use if you ask me... the massage chairs are very nice no negatives there at all.the locker room (if you want to call it that) is very small and cramped and the shower area isnt something i would use either.overall the price is decent but you get what you pay for and i really wish i wouldnt have signed up for a year.
Its sad because I actually enjoyed this place, but after finding out theyve been charging an account that was cancelled in person really burned that bridge. Sad to say that we will be finding a new gym when able to get back to it
I love this gym..my family and i are are members an have been for 2 years now..its affordable & always has a friendly staff and is always clean..u can tan(stand up beds) u can use the hydro massage chairs(they r awesome) or u can just workout..always lots to do an use..
Nice place, has everything you need to work out with. Wish they had a few more flat benches and people put the weights in the right spot. Other then that great place!
I love working out when I can get time too. This gym is a great place to exercise at and the people are really nice here.

This gym is very SMALL and the inside is very hot ! The staff is rude .. it’s sad that this world still have racism!!! I will NEVER in my life go back to this gym

Clean and tidy. Not a bad assortment of equipment. Cardio equipment is a little squeezed together but I get why.
Good value for the options. Unfortunately, they no longer have reasonable guest pass options like other gyms though.
Very disappointed I used the gym on a regular but moved and was no longer remotely close and now I have to pay 3 back payments for a gym that I havent been to in months very disappointed.

2022-06-10Not one to do this but the lack of professionalism and customer service has bothered me enough. Long story short there was a glitch in thier system to where I couldn’t cancel my membership through thier portal. Wasted my gas and time making multiple visits and called 5 days in a row before the manager would even speak to me. Was told the only way to cancel was through the portal. Lo and behold the manager did cancel my membership like she could the whole time after ignoring me for a week. However, I’m being charged for an extra month because of thier systems error. The manager then had the audacity to continue to blame me and refuse a refund. When I asked to speak to the owners she said that’s not possible and she I quote “Speaks for the owners”. I believe her name was Tammy and if she truly speaks for the owners this isn’t a place I would consider doing business with. It is also note worthy that this specific location has multiple open reviews and complaints describing the exact same experience as mine on the Better Business Bureau website.

2022-04-04Horrible !!Inaceptable mediocre costumer service. Hard to cancel the membership.Imposible to comunícate with a manager.The answer from the owner of workout anytime in Winder is wrong and misinformed. He has not responded to emails and calls.I have been trying to cancel by calling many times, on March 5th , 2022. I called twice to be guided by them and cancel, on March 23rd as well. The employee of this location did not know the procedure and she could not help me by giving me wrong information in every call I made. I when in person to workout anytime in Winder on the 23rd,I did not get the cancellation since the workout anytime representative was unaware of the cancellation procedure for a frozen account, she called her manager and informed me that I have to make my cancellation online and wait a day later for the manager to defrost my account and make the corresponding payment for the cancellation. March 24th , I made the payment online, the payment was done but unable to cancel.I just want to cancel.Is it possible for you to help me with this matter?I have proof of all payments calls and e-mails.

2021-05-17Employees are always very nice! Gym has alot of machines & free weights to choose from. Ive noticed several members not cleaning equipment after they use it. I wish there were consequences for not following cleaning policies, which are clearly posted throughout the gym! Please put hooks on bathroom doors in ladies restroom. I hate having to put my purse/gym bags on floor when using toilet. Overall, this is a great gym with reasonable prices! Staff are always polite and make everyone feel welcome. 😊

2021-09-17My husband is already a member so we came to see if I could get a pass and workout. By the time we got there to try to see if I could get a pass I guess it was to late which is completely understandable. We were met at the door by a lady she asked right out the gate “does she have her badge too” to which my husband replied no this is my wife and she’s wanting a membership here. She says well you have to come back when staff is here so she’ll have to leave. She said this with attitude and she had a disgusted look on her face. There is a way to talk to people but her tone and demeanor was nasty. I signed up for the membership online but the interaction with her left a bad taste in my mouth so I will now be cancelling the membership and so will my husband. EDIT: As I said in the beginning it was late when we went meaning “after hours” completely understandable. She could have politely said that it was too late. I actually wanted to become a member. However that is exactly how the interaction went. Doesn’t negate the fact that her customer service was awful.

2021-03-12The Winder Ga gym is the worst gym Ive been to ever. I sent them a complaint about two weeks ago through their website and they never responded. Their staff is unfriendly and wont even look up from their cell phone to greet you. They dont have enough disinfectant bottles. The most Ive seen is 2 and there is never one in the hydro bed room. Several times Ive come in and their trash cans in the bathroom are full and without toilet paper. Im about to go try another gym club if they dont get their act together.

2021-02-28I pay for the card I use, my apologies it’s in my mothers name, I didn’t realize it was a big deal, I was with her when she signed up and for my friend I “bring” pays for two key cards, who he chooses to bring is not on me. False accusations is wrong. We will be canceling our memberships, sorry for the inconvenience, and to consider me trespassing and not the others is wrong. I was respectful to your equipment unlike many others.

2021-10-29Have no choice to go here, only place with no commitment. Still pricey than planet fitness. Some of the weight machines have there the pin gets stuck. One of the trend mill you get shock when you touch the right handle.

2019-08-06Great place to workout while being affordable. The gym has a lot of cardio equipment as well as free weights so anyone can come and get a workout in. The locker rooms and the gym are both clean all of the times that I have been there, and the equipment is in top shape. The only thing that kept me from giving this place 5 stars is that if you want to cancel your membership there, you have to do so 30 days ahead of time or else they will charge you for the next month as well... kind of frustrating.

2019-06-20This location is little bit smaller than my home gym, but still very nice. They have certain machines that my home gym doesnt. It is a nice escape to go here sometimes, 1 to break out routine & 2 this gym is nowhere near as crowded. I love the FB location but it can be crowded to the point where working out seems impossible and I just go home.
