Buyer beware. Customer service is non existent. This company will rob you of your money and not provide you with internet that works while you are stuck in their contract. Im assuming they hope to force you to spend more money. I cant say for sure because its impossible to communicate with a real person from Xfinity. Lesson learned. Never again.
Supposedly my neighbors and my internet crashed and the estimated time for it to get fixed was 8:30 pm. I saw that notification at 3 oclock in the afternoon. 5 hours to not even be able to fix this problem is honestly pathetic. Before this great experience we had a problem where our wifi router just wouldn’t work so they said they would come look at and see what the problem was for 150$?!? So I just went and looked for the solution to problem my self and found that some wiring outside of my house wasn’t connected and the funny thing is that there was an xfinity employee out there not long before this. So I told them that I wasn’t paying 150$ for such a simple problem that they created. I wouldn’t be surprised if things like that are caused intentionally so they can score extra cash.
They have every option possible when it comes to taking your money. But everything else all we get are excuses and low customer service. I have to download an app to activate my internet, but the app doesnt work. Im given 2 different numbers to call and all they do is refer me to the app that doesnt work. Your operating hours are not accurate at all. Between you people and century link I cant tell whos worse.
Excellent Customer Service. As soon as I walked in the door a young lady approached me and politely asked if there was anything that she could help me with? And I said yes. She was very thorough and efficient. The store was very clean and new looking. I highly recommend this Xfinity store and highly recommend pay raises for these customer service representatives. Take care of the good workers. Pay them well and keep the good ones. We customers dont want inefficient service. Maintain what you have now! Do not let these good customer service representatives leave Xfinity.
House is prewired for cable, but instead of running the cable to the jack, their solution was to run it through a window. Router wifi doesnt get to the opposite side of the house. Wife called back to ask them to fix it and they seemed apologetic, and said they would fix it, but just... Never came back. Like a big ol screw you just give us your money.
I really don’t have that many problems with this company but today made me think otherwise. Got a promotion that YOU guys offer to me and it was a great deal. Problem is, you didn’t have the equipment. So when I return to upgrade my modem and realize that you guys didn’t have it, no one gave me a suggestion to try to get one. I asked store clerk about the next near by store which was a hour away and she didn’t know if that store even had it. Well ma’am can you find out? I had to call the 800 number and wait almost 15 minutes to get someone on the phone. Yes, the phone call was better service for me but now I have to wait 5 days for the equipment get shipped to me. I suggest you guys get a better standard on hiring your staff. On a good note, internet service is great in my opinion.
Having difficulty getting services. $100. Home service fee , for each time. Late nights , unable to contact actual human representative .Although most issues are late in night. Also told on phone they are connecting to rep. Asked if willing to do survey within 1/2 hour. No-One follows up.DISAPPOINTING
My internet hardly ever reaches the advertised speeds and frequently disconnects for hours at a time for no reason. Every now and then it goes out for days at a time.In May 21, my service was out for 5 days. No service credit, same bill due.Again in Aug 21, service disconnects out of the blue for 3 days. But this time I was issued a $2.44 credit... Seriously?
Services were not delivered ...And they still want to get paid ? My personal Information has been falsely used,after deleting it. causing further chaos. I didnt like and can not recommend Xfinity/Comcast /Asurion Insurance in Georgia.Im Very DISAPPOINTED.Still fighting for my rights to receive satisfaction. Beware
Great service and help. But when I went in to change my address from Barracks to Barracks they failed to mention I would be double charged for the month and have to pay my bill 2 times in once month for having the same service and they cant change due dates for 6 months and late fees will happen if you didnt know about said changes.
Have had nothing but problems with this system from day one and trying to have a whole lot of patience but the folks who work in your store understand that people my age have enough to deal with everyday life especially since I take care of an elderly man when tv is his life at 82
Service still not working,No home phone service still,cell phone drops call wont let me return it and I only had 1 day I feel sick about it.ok so heres update... Service is working!! New employee that came out was professional and polite. Having issues with billing but the internet and phone and TV are working great my son is happy 😊
The customer service was amazing tonight. The staff here on 11.12.2019 made my visit worth while. Jake helped us with our upgrade and cable box exchange. He was very informative on what package was the right for my family. Thank you again for everything you guys. We really appreciate all that you do.
Cable has been in and out for 2 wks. Ive called my daughter has called we have done everything they have told us to. Daughter is in college and works full time. She cant do her assignments because internet keeps coming and going out. Im working 70 plus hrs a wk when Im home I want to watch tv cant do that either. Piss poor service and very expensive. If I did my job or my merchandise was like this I would be fired. Wish I could give no stars.
I’ve had several technicians and they still have not fixed the issue with my business internet!! It continues to drop the internet connection or I not internet at all!! When you can you cannot get a local individual you get someone who live somewhere other than your state or area!! UGH!! My business should not have to suffer due to their lack of knowledge in this field! Each customer service person and technician stated something different each time you call!! You request a supervisor and you can not speak to one!!
Rep told me in person there were no more of the routers I needed available & advised me to purchase one at Walmart. There were none in stock at Walmart. I explained the situation to my husband. Husband walks in to the same location same day n speaks to another rep. My husband is handed over a router with little questions asked and Is told they have plenty in stock. Whats really going on here. I had the router that needed replacement in my hand. All due to a thunderstorm the night before virtual school started.
Absolutely terrible customer service. There’s no way to call your local store and have them send out a technician, you have to go through the automated service which drives you up a wall. You basically have to offer your first born child to get through to an agent.I even tried talking to a “live agent” on the website and had to tell this “live agent” three times that the lawnmowing service in my apartment complex ran over the line that goes to the power line, only for him to tell me that he ran a check and is having connection problem. Thanks Sherlock.With that being said, when I moved in, there were cables thrown out everywhere around my building, and the line that goes to the power line isn’t buried but instead strung out across my yard and in a little bundle next to my building before going up to the power line. No wonder they were ran over.
Horrible service. Had them install cable and internet at my home only to have it stop working for more than a month, two days after I got it. In that month, customer service (one rep was unbelievably rude) was called multiple times and multiple technicians were scheduled to come to my house and find a solution, only for it to not be resolved or for the technician to not come at all. When I finally get it fixed, I receive a bill in the mail. Not only am I being charged for service I never received, but Im being charged for multiple technicians coming and missed appointments! Charging me for service I didnt have, and then charging me for the times technicians had to come out because of their screw up. That all falls on their shoulders. I work from home (I had to use my phones hotspot during this period, and ran up my phone bill due to this inconvenience), and there would be no way I couldve missed the technicians. They didnt leave anything on my doors stating that I missed my appointments. I tried to dispute these charges and was offered no resolution, so I paid the bill and canceled my service. Of course during cancellation, they beg you to stay and offer free channel packages and discounts. I said I would if theyd just cancel the charges for my month without service and the tech charges, but they say they cant do that. Still canceled and they keep sending me junk in the mail. What a joke of a company.
Worst service provider. I checked out pricing online, I go in and they said it was 25 dollars more for the same plan online. So I went online to get the service and go back inside to pick up equipment. I cannot login to the account online. It says Im a secondary user, although Im the only one on account. I was on hold and transferred 7 times today on the 1800 number for over FOUR hours. I went back to the store for help, apparently they cannot troubleshoot or help their customers. They can set up the service take your money then youre left to the wolves with no help from customer support. Why have a store front if you cant SUPPORT your customers
I absolutely hate this company! I have never had so many issues with a cable company! The router boxes and cable boxes constantly broken and need replacing. The technician made a mess of wires. Very unprofessional job! Also. Waited for them to show up at 0800-1200. Never showed! They said my appt was canceled. Never canceled it! Run! Run! Run! As fast and far away from this god awful no good con artist of a company!
Didn’t even allow me notice when my service would be interrupted. I have NEVER had a poor experience with a service provider until now. I was watching my programs and bam, they’re gone. For some reason their “support” isn’t available. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism. I’m honestly embarrassed that I trusted this company with not only my internet and cable, but also my phone service. It’s interesting to see that when they’re performing “service” on my internet that somehow now I get poor phone service as well. This is a gross disservice to the community and to people who trusted your representatives.
Worst service in the world. If there was an award for terrible service they should earn it. Internet drops, you call the number and the stupid robot can’t even get you to a human being to help. Then when it doesn’t understand you, it asks you to pressed a button associated with the options and it still doesn’t work!!! What a pathetic company.
Sometimes it’s just easier to do things in person, and the Xfinity office on Kacey Drive is always immaculate. Nice!Also, I used to really detest Comcast. However, in February last year Comcast sent a brilliant tech, Shane, to redo our line of demarcation (the old box was a hot mess) and he also redid the amplifier in our attic. We were adding four set top boxes as well, and his setup integrated perfectly with the xFi pods I already had set up to boost the WiFi Signal. My house is in the woods and is made of brick, plus it may have lead pipes/paint in it, as well as some fluorescent lighting, which can cause interference in ethernet cords and other wiring. Also, lead can impede the WiFi signal - sometimes it was like our property was a Faraday cage at times due to poor signal quality. Shane’s Linux skills ensured optimal network setup.Now I just wish AT&T would make their towers in Hinesville 5GE capable. This “one bar of reception in my house unless I go outside” is pitiful. One should not have to drive almost to Savannah to get 5GE service. AT&T cell tower team needs to get on Comcast’s level (never thought I’d say that).
When I moved from NC (charter cable/internet) I had no idea that crappy service like this even existed. When I started service they said all of these houses were wired so I wouldnt need a technician.... 4 days later the tech arrived because it wasnt wired. $60. In the last 6 months weve had 4 service visits because of near constant issues. The customer service people and the techs have all been very nice but Id rather the service just function properly for more than 1-2 hours at a time. So yeah. I wish Id never signed a contract. Screwed for the next 2 years.
This is beyond the worst company I have ever been with. I never been with a company where I have to constantly get my router replaced. It would literally stop working each time out of nowhere. Which exactly happened recently. I called on Wednesday and made a appointment for 8am-10am on Friday(only availability). I was okay with that. The day of my appointment comes and I’m patiently waiting for them to get here. Confused on why they haven’t come I called and was told that my appointment had been canceled. I never cancelled my appointment. I tried to get ahold of an actual person and each time (3) I was hung up on. Decided to cancel.
I’m paying you guys for a service and you are not providing it. I’ve spent several hours over the last year on the phone for the same issues about once a month. After the horror stories of century link you guys are the only other show in town. I hope somebody invests around here, the internet market in this area is wide open. If you are willing/have the time to put in on the phone Xfinity will give you your money back for every time their service is slow/disconnected.They deliberately throttle your data. if you leave for longer than a week or so they will throttle you down to 5mps or so and you’ll have to call and sit through their automated system or their robot employees to get it working again. My IT guys at work catch them throttling in their homes. Anybody with enough effort could pull a class action suit against them. If they send a technician and he/she deems it’s your fault they charge you 70$. Once you sign up you will pay the monthly rate then you’ll double every other month when they come to fix it. Horrible company.Also, something like 8 clunky apps to cover each feature they claim to provide? Sloppy and unprofessional.
I had multiple problems including not getting the services I was paying for. I complained multiple times and they never fixed it. After 3 months, I got tired of wasting time coming to the office and waiting for hours for their technicians. I canceled with them and they charged me an addition fee of 100 dollars for an installation they never completed correctly. When I did not pay it right away, while i was disputing the charge, they put it on my credit report! Which is illegal by the way!
Do not waste your time with internet from Comcast! We moved here a year ago and heard they were our only choice for an Internet provider. We opened an account with them and 5 months later started having internet issues. It started with the internet going out about once a day, then multiple times a day. The customer service is awful. The reps seem to have no idea what they are looking at on their end and told us for 2 months to unplug our router and plug it back in. After doing this for 2 months we were FED UP. I told them to have a technician come to our house to take a look at everything. They didnt even want to do that! The tech came out a week later and re-wired inside through the port on the wall and said another tech would come to look at the line in the yard. That Tech eventually came and added new lines to the box in the yard and all seemed like it was fixed. Nope! The internet went out again within 24 hours. What I hate about this company is when you call in -- you CANNOT get a person on the phone until you unplug your box and plug it back in and then wait for Comcast to call you back. You can even tell the automation please cancel my account and it will say you have to wait until your box is restarted. I mean what a joke! I work from home - I NEED internet that works!!!!!
Literally the worst company Ive dealt with. The staff is completely incompetent and unresponsive.We even had an appointment set up with them and they completely blew us off despite the severity of our issues. We have hot power cables that belong to them just sitting on our roads where anyone could grab them and the company still continues to ignore us.After going up to their building location, they also continued to blow us off.
Let me be clear... The staff in store were very friendly and did well however, i would give it 0 stars if i could (the company itself) ! Since i ordered service they made so many mistakes that i had to pay for. They would set up an appmnt and not show up or show up when an appmnt wasnt even made. After making so many mistakes theyd promise discounts and then not keep their promise and id get charged! as it is cable is too expensive. Customer service has actually hung up on me! they are horrible and i believe its because they have hardly any competition. they could care less about losing your business. They overbilled me after only a months non payment (me being sick and being overcharged) they suspend your service but still bill you the whole time!! i hate xfinity. Will never go with them again!
After being assisted so well by an agent at their toll free no, going to Hinesville office was a complete dissapointment. All she neeeed to do was read the job order in my acct...gave us the wrong box. She ruined my long weekend.I think employees who do not do their best, Do not love their job. Move over and have someone else do your job.
I would give zero stars if I could. I have never in my life experienced worse customer service. Comcast has a monopoly on high speed internet in my area and they know it. They made me send my lease and my drivers license to them because there was a hold on the address from a prior renter. Or, I had to drive 30 minutes to the nearest Comcast store and be in person which I do not have the time for. A service ticket was supposedly placed after long wait times on the phone. 2 months went by and the representative was emailed with not response and no one contacting me on the service ticket. Multiple calls and 2 months were required for them to tell me that I could set up internet. They also use many underhanded sales tactics for bundles with introductory sales prices that increase without the customer being notified. Not a fan of the company.
Customer service has improved significantly. I went in to change out our DVR since we were having issues with it. My experience with the employees in the local office has been poor in the past. I was really pleased with the transaction this time. The representative who helped me was very pleasant and took the time to look over my monthly service charges and surprised me by updating my account and making several changes that resulted in reducing my monthly bill by almost $20. I didnt even ask her to do it, she just did it on her own initiative. Who doesnt want to reduce their monthly cable bill? Thank you.
The only reason I give it one star is because 0 star rating isnt available. We had average reception and was fairly expensive. I was transferred to Alabama for my job. I attempted to transfer service but they did not offer service in my area. I explained that to the customer service person when I called to disconnect. Although it was very hard to understand her broken English I am quite sure she said there would be no disconnection charge. I recieved a 190.00 bill. I contact the chat option and once I explained they said I was liable. Then condescendingly explained, I should have screen shot the conversation but I was so mad I just disconnected. All the bad customer service reviews are correct. MILITARY DO NOT GET COMCAST. When transferred if you cannot transfer service they will nail you with a termination fee.
I’ve been in twice in the last month and Ashelle was very sweet and helpful in switching my cell service from Verizon to Xfinity. So far the cell service is good and my bill went from $320 with Verizon to $103 with Xfinity with two brand new phones included. It’s to bad that most of these reviews don’t represent this location just Xfinity service in general. I have had problems with the service but compared to other companies they are still good and resolve my issues.
This was fast, courteous, & professional. I dont know what everyone around is talking about, but the customer relations were excellent. People inside having problems with the Xfinity service has nothing to do with the professional people that work here. I had problems with my cable box, came to exchange it, with many people inside having various issues, I was in and out in about 10 mins.
I have no idea where to begin. I will say this, hands down, they do have the best service when it pertains to internet, phone and TV. My hats off to you guys, BUT, your customer service department, is the WORST. It was close to payday and I am retired, so I am on a limited income to start. I know I was late so I checked my account online. When I saw that my services was about to be cutoff, I paid half of what was owed so I can pay the other half on the middle of the month. WELLL, that didnt turn out the way it was suppose too. Not only did they take my past due payment, but they STOLE, 386 dollars from my account. I called back and spoke to a CSR there and he was very apologetic and assured me that the money will be put back within 24 to 48 hours from the time I placed my call. That was a Friday. So when Wednesday came around, and yet no refund, I called back. Everybody is sooooo apologetic, but that does nothing for the 29 dollar NSF charge I occurred and the bounced MORTGAGE PAYMENT to my house. Luckily, my mortgage company, that by the way has superb customer service told me no worries we understand that life happens, you are good to go. Yet, the manager I spoke too, could not see it that way. She told me that my refund was never processed and that I was NOY getting back the 386 back, because I was in arrears at least half of the amount taken out. Anyways, word of advise to all who read this. If you could find another internet provider, go there. I am currently looking for their replacement. Now I just picked them to replace my current provider at work. I hope the business side is not as messed up as the residential side.
Horrible service!!! If I wouldnt have called and complained to get better deals I would totally leave! The employees in this location are COMPLETELY RUDE AND TERRIBLE!!! When I went in to pay my bill this one lady was super rude to this older man, just because he had a simple question and she had to get off her cell phone to answer it. Super rude! I cant wait until I move out of the area and not have to deal with these people anymore. And they dont ever check their drop box payments. I had a late fee because these idiots couldnt check their drop box. I put our payment in there 3 weeks before it was even due. The other customer service people that you call off the comcast website, they are nice and willing to help. I call them rather than go into this hinesville location. I have nothing to say about this location. If you can help it, I would NOT even make a trip in here. They will ruin your day completely.
FOLLOW-UP:I decided to give it another try with a new technician. Jesus came in and checked the inside line, said a few words, went outside and checked the line coming in. It was negative. So he proceeded to walk across the street, a neighborhood street, and there he found the problem at the main box. The main line was negative, connecting to the box that connected to the house. Replaced all lines, which all read positive. As of today which has been 6 days, I can honestly say I have not had a connection issue. Prior it was every few minutes. This is the first time in 5 yrs someone had enough knowledge to fix our problem. Good job Jesus, and thanks so much for your Service.Customer Service has always been very helpful when called.
Comcast doesnt even deserve one star. This place is a joke and has been the worst experience Ive ever had dealing with an Internet company. Ordered our modem a week ago and was told it would be here on Wednesday and paying 49.99 plus 10 to rent the modem on a month to month basis. On Thursday my husband called because we still didnt receive the modem. We got a tracking number to give UPS and when we called them UPS informed us that Comcast didnt send them a request to even pick our modem up. So, I went to our local store and picked it up. Once installed we only got internet every 20-30 minutes before it quit. The customer service people did not know how to help us. I went back to the store to switch out the modem and the second modem did the same thing. My husband called customer service again and the lady he spoke to said she would send a tech out for free to hopefully figure out the problem.Then when we looked on our bill we noticed we were being charged for a cable box that we didnt have. When we called to address this and to figured out why our bill was so high, they stated that were were receiving cable and that we were never quoted 49.99 for just Internet. They also stated that they will be charging us the 50.00 for the tech to come out and fixed the problem that is on their end. They say their phone conversations are recorded but after telling them to go back and listen to the conversations about the tech being free and the Internet being only 49.99 per month and me denying cable, they refused.We have been sitting at our home for almost two weeks with no internet or tv access thanks to this stupid company. I have no idea how they are still in business. If you can get service in your area go to AT&T or Hughes Net.
Been going back and forward for tha last 6 month with this office about the not buried cable the installer left on my front yard issue I have called and visited the office several times to no avail to do whats right but they refuse to do so. Im Fed Up with empty promises from counter attendants to include the manager of this office
My service has been out since Oct 18th. 3 technicians have come to my house and none can fix my problem. I was told by the last tech that I have to have my condo rewired and that cant be done until Nov 4th and Im still being billed. I try to call and they say their systems are down call back. This is ridiculous.
I have had some fairly complex customer service issues online and via telephone with Comcast/Xfinity. Fortunately, I visited the Hinesville office in person and learned that they have the ability to address my issues and I have always walked out a happily satisfied customer. Its a clean, updated location with friendly staff, some of whom may be called experts. If you have issues, its well worth the drive to visit this location rather than dealing with the company online or on phone. Regarding service reliability in the area: its fair and reliable. I do recommend.
This review is not actually for the store but for Comcast svc period, the wi fi sucks i have the blast and the signal still weak on post they charge 60 bucks everytime a technician comes to your house they offer you a plan and at 6 months they charge you regular price and when tou call customer service by the time you get to a representative u forget what you call for. I would stay away from it, i had the service in ft campbell and it was the same issue came here to stewart gave it another try and still garbage
Moved 10 miles and they cant just switch the internet and cable on at my house I just moved into. Put a request in and have been bounced around several times. I have spoken to 3 supervisors, three retention specialists, and 15 customer service representatives (thats what they call themselves anyway) trying to get my service moved since December 10, 2014 and here it is January 10, 2015 and I still have no cable or internet.-Comcast you are dysfunctional;-Customer service is very poor;-You dont honor your own contracts;-You dont keep promises;-Comcast misrepresents facts to its customers.Comcast, Your senior management in my opinion dont need those million dollar bonuses because your company is so fouled up.
Your Customer Service is BAD! Very BAD! Still waiting after getting a confirmation to be at my office at 8-9 am to fix to find out they never had a order. What the Hell are yall doing! My office is still shut down because of the lack of Professional Service to there Business Customers! I will post my experience every where.
DONT DO IT!!!!! Comcast has the absolute worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life!! When you call, you speak with customer service , who are for the most part nice but they don not keep records very well and they dont have a clue, they only make appointments. Our cable line was cut in OCTOBER of 2015 by a utility company doing sidewalk work. It took them 4 DAYS to repair the line. they said someone would be by in a week to bury the cable that is laying across my yard and into my house. Guess what its January 28, 2016 and they have yet come to bury this cable. I call and make appointments....NO ONE SHOWS UP! THE MOST TERRIBLE SERVICE AVAILABLE! I hate that I had to even rate it with one star to make my comment public...smh
Ive been using them for nearly 2 years. I can list quite a few issues.. One: They hooked up a weak router that couldnt handle the internet speed I was paying for. 2: when they finally set up an appointment to fix that issue they stood me up. 3: after they admitted to standing me up they offered 3 months of free hbo which they didnt give until 2 months later. 4: when they finally sent someone with a clue out to help, they tried to charge me 70$ for the visit (their fault in the first place) end result was they didnt charge me. 5: after the 3 months of free im sorry hbo ran out, they automatically started charging me for it. 6: they apologized for charging me for their free im sorry hbo service, promised to credit me, never did. 7: every 3-4 months they slowly ramp up the bill for no reason. 8: any issue Ive had with them trying to get in contact takes a miracle and a half. when I finally do connect they make promises to help that they always seem to fail on. Theyll gladly add anything to your service that requires increasing your bill. Trying to have them lower your bill is like pulling teeth without anesthesia. Broadcast tv and regional sports fees for everyone - even if you dont have those channels, or cable. I can keep going trust me. Sad to say but many Internet service providers are like this. But none that Ive come accross are as shady as comcast. Please comcast give me a reason to have a better opinion about your company.
Sad to say that I will not recommend their services anymore. I was a loyal customer to them throughout all my moving while serving in the military until this day. I would chose them over any company. I was happy to get their services in Hinesville, GA especially with the bundle they offered me. By the grace of god, I bought a house and was excited to transfer my service to my new home. Unfortunately because of the new community and the fact that they are still building, xfinity does not service in my area but down the street does have seevice. Mind you, I found out when they came to transfer my service. I figured no problem, I will temporarily disconnect my device until they get service in my area. I turned in my equipment, told them to discontinue my service and since then havent had internet or cable (its been two weeks). I get a call from xfinity that they are charging me $200 for breaking the contract. Breaking a contract I had no idea I would be breaking because I was originally told there was service in my area. After a few days of escalating the issue, I was called by a supervisor that in so many words told me he didnt care that it wasnt my fault, Im held liable for the fee. Pretty upset and will no longer recommend or want their service again. I cant believe that they treat their loyal customers this way. Now even if they have service in my area, xfinity will not be who I will want services from.
So I just walked in to return one of my cable boxes and get a new remote!! The lady did not even greet me she was very rude and the way she asked me questions was very unprofessional!! I’m not demanding the respect but I am a valuable customer and deserve it being that I come off as a very sweet person!! Please go back to training
Service itself isnt the great and customer service all around is horrible. Most of the so called technicians over the phone are out sourced to other countries and into call centers where they read a script and really have no clue. The service; which I have a bundle, goes out often, just like now, which leaves me without cable, internet, and/or phone. When living in NY, I thought Time Warner was bad with their prices, but at least they had true unlimited data and at fast speeds for one set price. Here in the Ft.Stewart area Comcast claimed they had unlimited when we first signed up; one of the reasons why we went with them. Come to find out they didnt, and then several months later and many phone calls they finally put us on unlimited, but for an additional $35 more dollars a month. Our bill is now reaching $300 a month because of their secret price hikes. I would love to go with Direct or Dish for tv and Century Link for Internet. Comcast is attempting to run a monopoly here and claim them run fiber optic wire for their service, willing to call BS on this. They definitely need to step their game up in all departments and make their prices more reasonable and affordable and actually care about their customers and services.
Horrible, liars and you can never talk to a person that seems to know what they are doing. Been without Internet for 4 days now and I was told they be out today between 1 and 3, come to find out the guy lied and its tomorrow. If there were another cable company I would dump comcast. It seems management does not care and nothing any of us can do without another viable option, and they know this. Worst run c ompany I have ever dealt with and for the money we have to pay the service is so bad and equipment always goes out and cable and Internet always in and out.
Use DarienTel if not local - first storm they wont come to McIntosh County for 3 - 4 weeks. Rude on the phone - office personnel are the only ones helpful... but when they cancel appointments 3 hours before showing up... its from the Hinesville repair people refusing to drive that far. They can help more people closer than farther. SO Dareintel is it for McIntosh County.
They suck. They have data limits which i never exceed but always get charged for. They are overpriced. Their customer service sucks. Just got off the phone with centurylink who picked up in 5 seconds. I was waiting on comcast for over an hour and got hung up on. I was just trying to schedule cancellation of service for monday.
Worst company to communicate with. Corporate office does not have local office phone numbers. You have to drive to their location (16 miles-one way) to ask a question as their 800 service number usually is no help. If you need a service call, you will have to wait a week. Even the local office wont give out their phone number.
As far as the building and staff are concerned, I give Comcast five stars. The building is layed out nicely and is visually impressive. The staff I met was friendly and courteous. My concern with Comcast was with the service I received for my internet and cable. I had Xfinity at two houses in two different cities and the service was horrible, especially the Wi-Fi/internet...
I wish I could rate this lower than one star I have never left a review until now this place has treated me and my wife so bad not only are they rude and unprofessional. They lack a severe knowledge of the job and if I call I can not get in touch with anyone who speaks clear English I have made every payment on time and one day found when I was going to buy a house that they were double charging me and sending the second bill to collection ruining my credit and do the same to my wife I am very successful and make a desent amount of money so I would have never missed a payment this places is horrible please do not do this to yourself
They changed my account info (phone number) withoutmy permission and when I said i was contacting corporate they guy overtalked me and was rude!!! As soon as i pay my bill, im going to direct tv!!!UPDATE 5/13/16: comcast took an unauthorized amount out of my checkings account without my permission!! THAT IS FRAUDELENT!!! Then sends me an email saying our agreement was cancelled and i willnot be charged, but they took it out ( almost $600.00)!!! Im super pissed and contacted legal reps to see if theirs something i can do! I can do without comcast!!! I absolutely HATE COMCAST and hope you go out business!
Ive had the absolute worst experience dealing with this company....not only babe they set 3 appts....and wete on time for none of them...paid the deposit...still have no cableor internet....last appt was yesterday Bertram -8am-8pm....long time to be expected to sit around waiting....especially considering they did not show up....they have no customer service skills...they are liars...and on top of that...one department has no clue what going on in the other....with this being said...when i told them i was going to give them a review....they seemed to not care at all....good luck cause whomever spends a dimewith this company will need it!
Not the store in general, but Xfinity/Comcast is just a terrible company. Raised my rates after 3 Months when it was suppose to be for 12months because I supposedly didnt sign up for e-billing. However the first 2 months I have emails with my bills. Care to explain? Shadey company with even worse practices. If you have other options use them and avoid Comcast like its the plague (or zika). I for one will never use them again. Also just Google them and see where theyve been fined by the FCC for false billing.
I am paying about $150 for phone,internet, and cable and I was able to get only a $14 credit for channels not working properly,even though they havent been working for the past 2 weeks. Im sorry I do not stay at home all day and watch tv to be able to call in about this issue,but seriously $14?! Thats just ridiculous!
First of all its common knowledge that in this day in century everything runs off the internet. So firstly put the most basic complaint down limited data plans for what they call (there unlimited data plan 300gb). I was imformed recently that theyre going to try to implement unlimited data, with the way that the customer service has been as well as the internet service and cable service cutting in and out I hope thats had the first of MANY changes that they will implicate... The survival of their business as well as relationship with their customers depend on it.I have called them once for a maintenance check when the internet and cable first cut out. The utility men were respectful and courteous, but had no idea how to fix the issue I do not blame them I blame Comcast cheap tactics to keep their profits in their greedy pockets, from the way I have experienced comcast down here, they do not care who they hire they just want an @$$ to fill the seat, and none of their employees seem to have tecnical or customer relations training...train your personel or just hire the right people to begib with...
This site as I take it is about the service center not the cable service itself. I rate it a 4 while the service itself I rate a 1. At this service center they have bent over backwards to accommodate me. The cable service & the call center not so much. The call centre is the worst of the worst & even more so because this service centre is so good.
This is the worst internet in Hinesville. I have had constant internet connection issues. Since the tv service is connected to the internet, my tv doesn’t work either. If you can avoid using Xfinity I would highly advise you do so or you’re going to be stuck in a crappy contract with these people for 2 years
Horrible just horrible customer service two other employees are working helping another customers out while theres one standing there just taking names all I need is the phone number on my account because I dont know what number they put on the account when I open it so I can just pay my bill on the express bill pay but I have to sit here and wait knowing she just standing there ate really doing nothing with all that you could be a usher at a church

2022-06-20Wish I could give zero stars. If you plan on moving don’t plan on having internet for a hot minute. We moved and it took them a week to get our ticket approved and then we were told that we would hear something back that day. Never did so we keep calling and showing up and they keep saying they are working on it, it’ll be this day or this day. Then nothing happens and they push it off two more days. We STILL don’t have internet. And let’s not forget about the terrible customer service, most the time when we call we get someone rude. About to say F it and set up with a different provider. Any suggestions since xfinity can’t get their stuff together?

2022-06-26I worked with Natasha in the Hinesville, GA store. Let me tell you. This lady, went above and beyond. So i originally met Natasha when we were setting up internet. I told her that day we would be interested in switching our phone from straight talk to Xfinity. She gave me her card and told her call her when we are ready to do so and she would be glad to help. So one morning I called her around 8am. She answered her phone(she was not in store at this time) but she told me she would be in later, we couldn’t get there until 6 and she said she would stay late if we needed her too if we came across any issues. We did come across issues with straight talk. Straight talk would only unlock a phone that shouldn’t have been locked in the first place, if we paid them 300 dollars, then on the other phone, straight talk wouldn’t allow me to switch my phone number over. We ended up getting one new phone but for some reason it wasn’t activating. I talked to Natasha several times. She went into the store on her day off to help figure out these issues we were having, she answered her phone when she was in the grocery store, and she stayed late on a different day to finally help and get our phones working. She did not stop until we had working phones. This lady was a GEM. Thank you so much Natasha. We appreciate everything you did to help. We are happy with the service that was provided to us while trying to make the switch from crooked straight talk to Xfinity!

2022-07-04I gave them 2 stars for the store. But after paying over 100 bucks just to have internet in my home, I switched to a better company and only 25 bucks a month. Comcast or xfinity has bad service. Ive complained once a month for almost 2 years because loss of service & now they lost a customer again.

2022-06-21If I could give comcast/xfinity zero stars I would . They literally have all the customers in the city of Hinesville and surrounding areas . Bet they refuse to update their poles etc . It goes out every day most days all day . This should be illegal . We $85 just for internet and it rarely works .

2022-01-19They will scan you into getting services cameras under false pretenses and then charge you all kinds of fees, my bill went from$68 a month to$108 a month and was informed there was nothing I could do but cancel the cameras and send them back and would not be charged for them so I did just that and then they charged me another$278 for the cameras that they took back... Plz dont use Xfinity, I will let everyone I know about Xfinity and post this everywhere

2018-12-08Not my meme, but this is basically how Im feeling. Calling the customer service line is one of the most infuriating automated systems Ive ever dealt with. Our service has yet to be set up because they kept sending people out to my house despite the cable not being hooked up outside of the house! So everytime I call, and dont have the option I need select from their awful automated system, Im left with basically just repeating speak to an agent until I can finally just talk to a real person!!!!! Once on the phone, the people are typically nice, but I got to say, Im less than impressed so far with the lack of follow up and communication.
