Great beer menu and great service as youd expect. That I can say was about where the great ended. They ran out of Carne Asada, and the Pork Chop ordered was burnt and super salty. It took 20 minutes on a Tuesday and passed through multiple people before making its deathly journey to me. Come on Yard House, youre better than this!!!
Yard House in the Battery was a unique experience. The staff was super friendly. It was busy for a Sunday, but it only took 10 mins to get a table for two.I had the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger. It was cooked to order and tasty. Loved the BBQ sauce! The Garlic Parm fries were okay...just a little too much garlic and not enough parmesan for me. I felt the fries needed something more...like a house made dipping sauce...ranch base... something to give it more flavor.Oh, I cant forget the variety of beer and they have a bar right in the heart of the restaurant. Many TVs for your viewing pleasure. I would visit again to have a drink and appetizer with friends, but not a full lunch or dinner.
It is really popular restaurant!! I waited around 1hour but here food was awesome. I ordered jambalaya and pepper crusted filet, both was amazing 👍🏻 server was cool and my table also very big and comfortable. I definitely come again with my family 👋🏻I didn’t figure out there was additional cost for game inside IPad during waiting for food😂
Everything was so good! I highly recommend the chicken nachos. And the Steak Bowl was so yummy. Large portions and a lot of great beer choices. Only down side is that its very loud inside, so kind of hard to carry on a conversation with your table. Ainsleigh our server was great! We will be back!
I really liked The atmosphere! Drinks were refreshing! Food was good. The chicken wings was small but this isnt buffalo wild wings for sure, but you must try I black whisky flavor for your wings. We had pizza which was ok and the fried calamari was greasy, I like a lil crunch. They replaced it with a yard drink.. Ill take that. My server he was amazingly cool. My daughter mommy date went smoothly
My friends and I had a great dinner at Yard House following a Braves home game. The place was packed and we still got our food in decent time. Speaking of the food, it was absolutely incredible. We all got appetizers and shared them among ourselves and there wasnt a bad thing on that table. Entrees were great also. I had the Lobster Garlic Noodles and I would absolutely recommend them to any seafood fans out there.
We got seated and get told that the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes! First off why even seat me so I can be rushed through my meal. Ridiculous! Secondly my friend got a margarita and they didnt even put it in a glass just a plastic cup and then iced the hell out of it and shorted her drink. Then my meal came out before the appetizer and before my friends and we all ordered at the same time. Smh -1/10 would never recommend or come again. 🤦🏿Update: Our server Ian had a terrible attitude because their pay system was not working properly. He hardly ever checked on our table. We got better service from a random server bringing out our food.
My sister and I stopped by to eat at the Yard House and we ordered the Four Cheese Spinach Dip and the Grilled Chicken and Avocado Sandwich. The sweet potato fries are the bomb. The food was good and our server Aiden was very attentive. The atmosphere was high energy. I would recommend this place. However, if it is raining, please bring umbrella. Parking is walking distance. You are sure to get wet.
Came into town for a Sunday game. Visited the Yard House on Saturday night. I had an awesome experience watching a bartender named RED behind the bar. She was running circles around everyone else, preparing those concoctions that everyone was eager to drink. She carried the bar this evening. She should get employee of the month or a special bonus, as I am sure that without her, the bar would not have survived the large Braves crowd this evening. Way to go, Red. Keep shining!
Great location at the Battery! We like coming here “off season” when it’s not as busy. Tons of beer on tap and the few times we’ve been the service has been good too. Came with the kids last time and they enjoyed the kids menu items. Check it out if you’re looking for a causal drink and laidback atmosphere.
First of all Rob is the best! He deserves all the raises, stars, rewards, and praise cause he was absolutely wonderful! He not only recommended amazing food and kept our drinks full, but he was fun, made sure we had a great time, and was just down to earth. Anyway the restaurant itself was great place to go out and the food is incredible especially for New Years Eve. My husband got tacos and I got the steak bowl. But the best was the nachos appetizer...we got one to go it was so good! Also Malibu peach cocktail and beer are great. Officially one of my favorite restaurants and cant wait to go back!
Picked up Togo during the Christmas tree lighting. Very busy. Got a gluten free burger and my family all got regular burgers. The bun to my burger was so hard I couldn’t eat it. Had to take it off completely and eat it as a lettuce wrap. That tasted pretty good but not what I was hoping for.
The food was fantastic and service was great! My family (about 20-25 of us) went to fellowship and meet with family from out of town. Coop was our waiter and he was ON IT!! Every request we made, he was intentional and speedy. He handled our large party like a champ and he was extremely friendly and fun! Definitely can’t wait to revisit this location and get more spicy jambalaya and calamari!😭
The food and drinks was good. The salmon was to small for the price. I wish the margaritas was in a bigger glass, but hey its at the Battery. What do you expect 🤷🏾♀️ The main thing that bothered me was out server said he was going to come back and take out order, but instead came back and said someone else would be serving us instead because hes about to get off. 30 minutes later, hes still walking around takin orders. Things that make you go hmmm 🤔🤔🤔
Update!!!!My husband and I were at the battery to try another place but no seats were available. We decided to give this place another try and to our surprise it was amazing. We tried different foods and our server, Kimberly, was amazing. Definitely a better experience. Drinks were great, food is a bit overpriced but overall a great date night experienceToo expensive for the food to be so basic. Even the experience wasnt all that well. The only good thing was the alcoholic drinks. My husband and I went on a double date with friends and arrived after them. It took forever to get our drinks and even longer for food. We got the cheese custards and they were extremely salty. The only thing that made them manageable was the sauce and that was basically sugar. All of our fries came out cold and stale. One server had an attitude and the other had the audacity to tell us they werent cold.... I ordered sliders as my main meal and they were DRY with hardly any sauce. McDonalds makes a better burger
Decent food and drinks, great beer selection, and good party-vibe music imo. Im really happy to see someone other than Freds Meat and Bread doing a Korean philly sandwich, but I wish the wasnt as fatty/chewy. Otherwise, well executed.Bar staff was less than attentive. I could count on one hand how many times anyone on my side of the bar was checked on by an employee during the 60+ minutes I was there
Ive been to a few locations, all have been great and this was no exception. Service was great, and you have the option to order yourself through the table kiosks. Pleasantly surprised they still do happy hour despite being by the Braves stadium and having major volume all the time. Enjoyed the calamari and ahi appetizers. The kale ceasar salad was different in a good way- tomatoes, asparagus and craisins were added in the mix. Topped mine with grilled shrimp and it was the perfect meal. The kitchen and bar was on point didnt have to wait long for anything.
Besides the waiter, my experience at this establishment wasn’t all that good to be honest. My food was terrible! I ordered a Double BLT and my food came out cold, the bacon was burnt and hard to chew and eat. Me and my wife drinks tasted more sweet than anything…..they just wasn’t strong. This makes me not want to come back here…The waiter I had did a great job serving me
Always enjoy coming here...nice ambiance, good food/drinks, reasonable prices and wait staff always friendly! We sit on the patio to people-watch and enjoy the scenery...😎 always fun to see! Only con, not too many options on menu to my liking and every time I ask for the onion rings (my fav), not available. Mgmt: like to see more options on menu!
Just sat waiting for an hour for two appetizers that never came- first the kitchen “lost the ticket” and were rushing our order but then after the order was “resubmitted” and still never came, suddenly the story became that they were just actually running hour plus long waits on food and that “everyone” was having to wait even though the server had on two occasions expressed confusion over our food still not being out as well.Long story short- ended up missing the first hour of a baseball game for absolutely no reason 🙃. Definitely not the best choice for a pre-game pit stop.
We been couped in the house all through the holidays. But today hubby decided to take us out as a go away luncheon for our son’s return back to college. We Googled several places to go that will provide all of our needs, vegetarian, pescatarian, and meat lovers with the FB game playing (of course you know that would be the men (Lol)). Which is how we found Yard House. I was so happy to see that their space was so large with flat screens all over and spacious booths to accommodate us four. We were seated immediately and served by a great waitress. Daughter ordered tea and it came out in the cutest lil set, made me wanted a tea (smile). We ordered appetizers of tall onion rings, totally delicious then came our food. My daughter (the vegetarian) ordered Gardein orange chicken w/rice & corn and kale caesar salad...omg!! I wanted hers immediately then they slid mine (lobster, shrimp pasta) and forgot all about hers (Lol). The guys ordered chicken and burger sandwiches and said theirs were good. I tasted my daughter’s and it was totally awesome just as mine. She and I had so much we brought back leftovers. Hubby said I was all smiles during our visit and I was totally 💯 smiles. Why??? Because it was a great atmosphere for our family to enjoy during such turmoil of a week our country just experienced
So good!! I was here for a lunch meeting. 1st time here and Ill be back. I had the orange chicken and it was GREAT!!The water did taste weird (Im a water drinker) so I got a sweet tea. Server was nice and quick. But Ill be back for food and drinks. I definitely recommend!!!Update..I went back again. Same great food and drinks. Sat at the bar this time, fast service and good food!!
Got the grand marnier patron margarita and it was not good! It tasted like soda and absolutely no tequila e. What a bummer for a $14 drink!!! We talked to the girl bartender and she was like “we top all our margaritas with soda water.” Sick! I am a bartender and know this ruins any marg. She said there was nothing they could do and wanted to charge $10 for an added shot. Disappointed in this place!!!!!! Will not be coming back, bad prices, bad service, bad drinks.
Weve always had a decent experience here....this last time... deplorable!1hr and 20mins for our food...food came out all wrong and over cooked.Ovens were outHalf the food wasnt even availableIf you dont have working equipment SHUT THE DOORSSteak ordered Medium Rare was well doneKids Grilled Cheese NEVER CAMEPORK TACOS ALL FATDisgusting. We just walked out!So sad
Filet was over cooked by a lot. Never saw a manager. We payed and left the waitress a 30% despite the overcook and 20 min wait for new food. She then chased us out of the restaurant and accused us of stealing our food. We had to show the receipt before being left alone. Thank you for a horrible experience.
Terrible experience tonight. First issue..I spoke so highly about the crispy brussel sprouts and I get there with my family. Off the menu!! So that was the first red flag..Ordered the lemonade super sweet….like wayyy too sweet!!Someone at the table ordered calamari..worst calamari I’ve ever had. I didn’t want to say anything but it has no flavor..at all.I ordered the salmon against my better judgement. The food took at least 45-hour to come out. Salmon came out overcooked. I get it has a glaze on top but I should still be able to chew it. The broccolini was cold. The carrots on the plate were not cooked all the way through. Glad I didn’t damage my teeth biting into it. Pretty sure y’all just took it out the ground and put some olive oil on it real quick and threw it in the microwave for 10 seconds..NO!!The waitress was able to substitute the mash potatoes for SOME Brussel Sprouts so I’m like you can’t make them crispy anymore but you sauté them and not well..ok..Lastly as I’m attempting to eat, water is dripping from the ceiling. I thought I was crazy until the girl next to me says she felt it too..why would I want to eat or drink anything when there’s water dripping from the ceiling. I don’t care if it’s just condensation from the ac or whatever it was..I don’t want that in my food..at all..gross. I told the waitress and she was like “I wouldn’t want to eat the food either” if water is dripping in it! And I’ve been watching kitchen nightmares all week so that didn’t help. Hard pass for me. Won’t ever go back. I could have cooked that meal myself at home. No presentation..grease streaks all over it. This is why I don’t go to chain restaurants..no thanks. I expect this at a TGIF or Applebees and I don’t eat at those places either but can’t say I’ve ever sent a plate back there either. Save your money and go somewhere nicer.
I had the shrimp taco my daughter had the fish taco although it was a little spicy it was very very tasty. I really enjoyed it the macaroni and cheese was just okay it could have been a little more creamier and cheesier the price is wearing too bad. The next time I came it was a little confusion about my order but the staff was very nice so thank you to all the staffs and the Cooks.MY RATE 1-10Customers Service:10Atmosphere: 10 cozyTaste Quality:10Food Portion Size: 10Price: 9Design Appeal: 10Clean :10Location: (when theres a game(2) when no game is playing(9) it can be very hard to find parking.
Service was a little slow, onion rings had def been sitting before they brought them out, BUT the tacos were so delicious and the pizza was perfect!! And we LOVED our waitress, she was keeping up with the business as best as she could with a smile!! We will def be back!!
I got the poke. Staff was accommodating in not having the spicy sauce on it, and suggested I not have the peppers either. We sat on the patio and it was shady and pleasant. It was my co workers birthday lunch and they brought him a free dessert! He isnt a fan of sweets but really liked it and ate over half.
Hands down thee best service I’ve had from a restaurant in Atlanta. Food was on point, prices are good, and the ahi tuna is seasoned to perfection. I honestly feel as though this location is better than Midtown, although it’s just as busy. Can’t wait to go back for the ahi tuna 👌🏾
Tuesday lunch, nice atmosphere, attentive staff. Appreciated the lunch menu, most items around $9.95. Location so close to Braves field, nice place to walk around. Try the shiitake garlic noodles- delicious!P.S. they had table tablets that let you split your bill in anyway you’d like. Pay at the table and it even prints your receipt!
We stopped in for a quick bite to eat on a nice Sunday night out. There was no wait to get in. We were seated immediately. Our food didnt take long to come out, but somehow our drinks were completely forgotten. I ordered the kale Caesar salad. It was pretty tastey... but you will need a side of dressing. Well definitely be back. Looking forward to the change in atmosphere on actual game days. Also... they have bread pudding for the moment on the menu. Its not worth the calories. The best part about it was the custard on the Bottom of the plate. Other than that... Its just soggy bread with no real flavor. If you find this review helpful, please like below.
2019-Feb, party of 5.Arrived at the Red Parking structure at 7:47 pm. Parking is free under 2 hours. More than 2 hours is $20. Took an elevator and went straight to the Yard House. They dont do reservations. The wait staff said it will be a 25 to 30 minute wait.We noticed that 3 families that came after us, who had a party of 4, 5, & 4, got seated before us. We are hungry and getting impatient. We looked at the menu as we wait. We didnt get seated until 8:44!! Unbelievable!!Our waitress, Asia, came right away and took our drinks and appetizer orders. She took our order as soon as she brought our drinks. She was very attentive to our table and refilled our drinks when needed. The food was decent. With 4 meals, 1 kids meal, 2 appetizers, 2 desserts, and 1 soda, our bill was $130 (not including tip and parking). We left the Yard House around 10 pm. We had to learn the $20 beyond 2-hours parking fee the hard way.If the review helped you in any way, please give it a thumbs up!Bon appetit!
I went there on a Friday with some friends for happy hour. I set at the bar while I waited for my friends and received great service from the bar. For a Friday night the wait was only 25 mins which kinda shocked me because I was expecting it to be longer. I food I had was great. I loved the Korean BBQ beef that I had, it had an sweet glaze. The crispness of the bacon created a nice variety in texture on the deviled eggs, and dessert menu was on point. My favorite was the chocolate souffle cake...yummy!!! The only downside was that they were having a problem with there toilets not flushing so that was a very unsanitary situation there with all the toilet tissue in the toilets, and the smell and stufff...but hopefully they have it fixed but now.
Nice environment. Amicable staff. Easy to get to from most parking decks. Conveniently located close to the gates of the stadium. Decent food, good drink (including draft beer) selection. Outdoor seating for when the weather is nice or one has young children. Plenty of monitors/tv screens for the big games.
This restaurant had a great ambiance. The server Darrius was great. He knew the menu well and was able to describe the best food to get based on my first time being there as well as the size of my appetite. The picture shows Nashville Hot Chicken with Sweet Potato Pancakes. It was delicious. The syrup was not up sweet and it fit well over both the chicken and pancakes. Overall, the meal was great, service was great, and I will more than likely go again.
This place is huge but service is a bit let down. Came in for a corporate event and they wouldn’t refill water after repeated requests for them to do so. Food was average. Ordered steak and shrimp and they overloaded the shrimp with salt. Overall, a bit overpriced for average food and service.
Four stars for service. The fried food (fries and fish) was not crispy, most likely from it being busy and the fry-oil dropping in temp. I told the server and a manager came out to speak with us. He listened to my advice of adjusting fryers during busy hours to get the right, crisp texture for the fried foods. The Kurobuta burger was delicious and Im positive things will improve next time I visit.
I visited Yard House Battery location on 12/22/21 at 10:00pm with a party of two in which I thought was a sufficient amount of time to enjoy my meal being that the restaurant does not close until 11:30pm. I got seated immediately which was about the only good thing about the service. The server took about 15 minutes to visit my table to ask for drinks and appetizers. When the server got to the table he led with the kitchen would be closing soon and suggested we put in the order with the appetizer. The server also indicated that the last call for alcohol was 11:00pm and hed be coming back to before we finished the drink we ordered. The appetizer came 20 minutes later and the drinks of water came 5 minutes after the appetizer which was appalling because wed got the bar drinks before both of those items. As we were waiting on the entree, the restaurant staff proceeded to sweep in front of the table we were sitting at as well as putting up chairs on tables. Wed still not gotten the entree and the time is now 11:03; the server, who was no where to be found, finally came back to the table. At this time he let us know that the bar is closed and we would not be able to order the second drink after he told us hed be back. We got the entree -- A Ribeye with two sides -- and there was a considerable amount of gunk left on my steak knife. I requested the manager, Sham, and informed him about the issues that I had during my visit. He told me theyd been closing down early due to COVID-19. The explanation didnt make any sense because there was gunk on my knife from the last guest. He offered to take care of half of my steak entree and drinks. In all, The service was lackluster and I would not recommend this location.
The Yard House is a good place to stop when at the Battery. There is a huge selection of draft beers to choose from. We went during happy hour where appetizers were half off. A unique item that I’ve only seen at The Yard House is their poke tacos. Delicious if you like sushi. The onion rings were very good as well!
I had the best experience at this place. The atmosphere when you walk in just makes you so happy. Our service was top notch. Crystalle.I had the cheese curds for an appetizer! Who would’ve thought of honey?!?! It’s so good. The jambalaya was delicious!!Super happy I came here. I’ll be back next time I’m in Atlanta.
My friend and I went for drinks. I’ve eaten here many times and the food is pretty good (average). But this time I was disappointed because the drink I ordered was not worth the $11.49 I paid for it. I got the lavender drop which (supposedly) had Tito’s vodka in it (I didn’t taste any vodka nor did I feel the results of having had some vodka to drink. The glass was less than half full with a huge square chunk of ice in it which displaced some of the liquid to make the glass look a tad bit more full but it was still less than half full. I was finished in about five sips. Meanwhile, my friend had this huge, extra tall goblet of pineapple beer and it cost less than my lavender Kool-Aid (I don’t consider it a cocktail). See the photo and you’ll see how I feel that my drink was definitely not worth the price. If you come here for drinks, get beer. You may get your money’s worth that way.
Amazing place to come visit, enjoy your choice of dozens of brews on tap and eat great food listening to all your rock and roll fav songs. We came on a Saturday night around 6 PM and it was crowded but only a 30 min wait. Fun atmosphere, clean and attractive. Ordered the tuna sushi appetizer and it was a winner, a bed of snap peas topped with a big chunks of sashimi tuna topped with a thick layer of creamed avocado, amazing. I was going to take a picture but it was so good we couldnt wait. Dinner was spicy jambalaya and Mediterranean salmon. The fisrt had a really rich and tasty base with three classic meats with the rice on top. Very good. The salmon was grilled crisp (how I like it) on a bed of grilled quinoa, kale, and cauliflower. Top notch! Dessert was the trio sampler of cheesecake, peach cobbler and some chocolate cake. I am not a chocolate fan so we didnt finish that one but the other two were soooooo good. Def recommend this place if your here for a game or a concert.
So upsetting to lose personal belongings at a restaurant. After we left our table, I went back to look for a small gift bag with a keychain and earrings. The table was mostly cleared only dirty plates remaining. No server, busser, or manager, could explain what happened or where it went. Disappointed. Service was okay, had to ask/remind for drink refills. A few food items were not available
This place has good choice of food and drinks but where they fail is service and communication. I say that because I had to pick 3 different entrees because each time I placed order the waiter would come back telling me they were out of it. We were already waiting but we had to wait longer cause the waiter asked us what we had again and finally put on our order. Mind you my kid has been waiting to eat something and he was beyond frustrated. Why couldnt he menu have an indicator of whats out or the waiter inform us in the beginning whats out, which on the 2nd order I asked the waiter that and he told me but on 3rd order they were out of something again. From a business standpoint why not coming up with excel spreadsheet of the high selling products weekly to help determine the amount of supplies that need to be ordered?!?! Im just saying. Yard House you failed and you failed on my wifes birthday!!!
Was getting my car serviced and got really hungry. Lucky for me, The Battery was right across the street. I walked through the courtyard closely examining the choices I had to eat. I ended up choosing Yard House. I started off with fried cheese curds. The bartender suggested a small side of caramel which made them taste like funnel cake bites! So delicious! I decided on the fish tacos which were also very delicious. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Will return here before the next game! Go Braves!
There was 7 of us eating. The appetizers were fabulous. But it took forever to get refills and have our order taken for entrees. When we finally got them some of them were not even right. Fries were cold. Burgers and steaks were not the right temp. We are not from here and we thought we were going to have a pretty awesome dinner. All 7 of us work in a restaurant so if there could have been an explanation we would have been completely understanding. But we got nothing. Ugh!!
I gave this restaurant a 4 star due to our food being warm when we received it, but I must say as far as the waiter Vern I felt he was a bit rude. He tried to say our food wasn’t sitting, when I know for a fact it was. He did have the manager come and talk to us , which was very pleasing and respectfully he took care of the matter immediately. He apologized for the wait on our food he also took 25% off of our bill and gave my friend a free drink for his Bday.. I appreciate his concern when It came to his customers..
My coworkers and I visited Thursday after planning to visit Punchbowl Social. Initial service at the Punchbowl was horrible so we left there and went to Yard House instead. Best decision of the day! Upon entering Yard House, we were greeted by two hostesses at the door. We were immediately sat and greeted almost immediately by our AMAZING server, Dasia. She was very professional, personable, and attentive to our needs. Our glasses stayed full, our food was hot and delicious, every order was correct and she did it with a smile, style and grace. She managed this party of 7 with ease as if it were only 2 of us. Thank you, Dasia! We enjoyed our lunch time getaway and will definitely be returning.
This is mine and my husbands go to place. However, every time we go lately, they either tell us they’re closing an hour earlier than is advertised so they can’t sit us or we sit down and the server rushes us out even though it’s an hour and half before closing. We love the late night happy hour but what’s the point in having late night happy hour from 10-close if you’re closing early and then tel us you’re not seating 20 min before close? So you’re late night happy hour is actually only 20 min long?Tonight we came in and the host said, “we can’t sit you it’s 20 min til close”…. I said, “don’t you close at 11:30pm that’s what it says online and on the front door”, and she said, “no we close at 11pm now”. This location is always horrible with customer service. Don’t bother coming in for happy hour it won’t be honored. I work for another Darden restaurant and we have NEVER closed early. If we did we would atleast advertise it. And we always sit up til closing time unlike this Yard House who turned us away 20 min till….
Service was terrible. They can’t locate out ticket to pay, bowling was broken the games lady didn’t wanna seem to work. It took 1.5 hours for water. I can understand the food and liquor being untimely they were busy but we asked for water quite a bit and received it 2.5 hours later.
Met a friend there for lunch and was disappointed from the get-go as we had to wait 30-40 min for a table even though there were many open tables .. once we sat down, I ordered a Korean BBQ Cheesesteak and it was very bland from a taste standpoint .. seemed like the cook did not know how to make Korean BBQ so it should not be on the menu .. the only positive part of the experience was our server Jennifer who was all smiles, very attentive and friendly
Enjoyable. Menu is overwhelmingly large, but they seem to execute most dishes pretty well. That said, nothing I’ve tried so far has truly blown my mind. I’ve lived at the Battery for over a year and had Yard House fare gracious plenty chances to judge it thoroughly. For instance, why eat a margherita pizza here (see pic) when Antico is twenty feet away? Why order a Yard House burger when H&F burger and Wahlburgers are so close-by?Why would you sample chicken wings here with Gio’s offering is so much tastier? The answer is simple (and the reason I still visit this place) - picky eaters.Even though they don’t make anything in particular exceptionally well, they make a whole helluva lot of things decently. That provides value when you’re with a large, indecisive crowd.Other notes - ambiance sucks. The lighting is a nightmare, walkways are oft congested, TVs plaster every inch of available wall space, and the layout is confusing.Really torn between 3 and 4 stars here. Sorry YH
Yard House was delicious. The restaurant had safety measures in place for safety. However, it was entirely too hot in the restaurant. May I suggest keeping the main entrance door open. Have your hostess (1) stand in the vestibule and let them be the person who opens the main door to the establishment. YH was good, but having both doors open in the middle of the day during 90 degree weather is a waste of electricity and it dampens a great meal.
We went before a braves game on Saturday and it was packed! The chicken wings were AMAZING but the burgers were undercooked and my bun was burnt. The burgers would have been great so long as they were cooked a little longer. The service was super slow but thats kind of understandable with the amount of people that were at the restaurant.
Was told that the online check in doesnt work on game days. We checked in online at 5 pm and was told a 70 minute wait. When we went to the front desk, we were told we had to go on the wait list again because the online check in system doesnt show up on their system. Complete waste of time and effort.
We took the Atlanta Braves stadium tour and was recommended to check out Yard House before that evening game. We had great service and our meal arrived fast. The picture is of the combo dinner. I choose the New England clam chowder and BBQ style pizza. Two thumbs up.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed ourselves at this location. We sat @ the bar for dinner ans was greeted by a bartender that could be Dave Matthews doppelganger and was very cool. It was a busy Sunday night, post World Series, most of the bar staff was super attentive. My BF loved the Korean BBQ Cheesecake which he enjoyed immensely and I had the Grilled Chicken & Avocado w/o the bun & Parmesan Truffle Fries - VERY TASTY!He ordered the ACE Pineapple Cider & I wnjoyes rhe Dogfish Head Hazy-O Hazy IPA, both were incredibly tasty! It was a really good visit, we look forward to returning!
Although I am a fan of Yardhouse, after last night Braves vs Nationals game I had an horrible experience dining there. After being seated it took our server 30+ minutes to greet us and bring water. After receiving water, it literally took 1hour+ to place an order for food. In addition, we had to place through another server who we could catch walking by. It gets better, my food and girlfriend food returns. Guess what? Its cold 🥶 Im not speaking Luke warm. My burger felt as if an 🧊 was placed on top cold. Its crazy because the plate was warmer then the food. As usual drinks were good though.Thank you to the bartenders.
With a large restaurant comes the need for a lot of staff. Lately the restaurants in the area are very short staffed. Due to the staff shortage the wait to get in is usually long, then the wait to be served has been excessive. Otherwise this is a decent establishment with a large beer selection and diverse menu.
AMAZING service from our server Devan, even while training a new server! She was friendly & attentive & patient with my party of 4, whom unfortunately arrived @ 4 different times. The food was amazing! We had the calamari, the coconut shrimp w/ that delicious sauce, the kale Caesar salad, cheese pizza & steak bowl! The drinks were nice as well! Martinis, Moscow Mule & LIT plus they also always have an awesome selection of beer on tap. The IPAs are my favorite. I had visited the downtown location and I didnt think they could do it twice, but trust me on this location is equally as amazing!
The Yard House is our favorite place in the battery. The food is good, the portions are large and the service is nice, especially considering how busy the place gets on weekends and during games. We like getting the onion rings before our meal. They are fresh and tasty. The bar area is huge and always busy. The salmon and fish and chips are our favorites.
Me and my boyfriend came on a Saturday, the lady put us on the list she said it would be 35min wait, we were fine with that, until it became more than 1 hour… they didn’t even had half of the menu, they had just few things… so of course we leave! I would suggest that if they don’t have enough staff, don’t open at all then, because then you will have customers with a bad experience. We couldn’t make it in, and yet we were dissatisfied.
First time at Yard House at The Battery. They were out of the menu item that I initially wanted, and they were out of an ingredient for a cocktail I wanted, so that was disappointing. I decided to try the whiskey glazed salmon. It was delicious. Unfortunately, the vegetables that came with it were so hard that I couldnt cut through them. They were essentially raw vegetables. The server said he would put in an order to bring me another order. I didnt get them until I was done with the other part of my meal, and they werent much better. The server was friendly, but he couldve been more attentive.
The Asian Wings are the best wings I have ever had... Our server was a pro... We ordered two brand new tiki colada cocktails from the menu and they was made wrong... The garnish is dirty cherries which were obviously missing from our drinks... Instead of remaking the drink they sent us a glass with some dirty cherries and said that they are by request only... It sounds like the bartender didnt want to remake the drinks and left the server to be the bad guy... Shame on the bar... Otherwise we had a fantastic experience and next time I will just be sure to stick to beer...
The atmosphere and staff are nice. The beer is reasonably priced. Dont get a burger. However they cook it creates a char around the edge of the patty that takes away from the rest of the burger. The fries were good, but nothing spectacular. Spend the extra $1 on the parmesean truffle fries. The main downside, at least for my visit, the 30 minute wait for food. There is no reason for a burger and fries, that arent 5 star quality, to take a half hour.3.5 stars
Horrible slow service. Suggesting ordering 2 drinks. When they come order 2 more and your food. Honestly food prep and delivery was 10 times faster then the drinks. Half-yard dog draft was unbelievable on point. Its like ordering 3 beers. I give it 4 stars so that someone might read this. Done be discouraged by the service. Its worth checking out atleast once. get with it and make the trip. Sorry no picture. I was way to drunk to technology things. And no I wasnt driving.
Pleasantly surprised. Not reallyA chain restaurant fan. The Ahi Tuna Nachos were OUTSTANDING. The Korean beef tacos were very tasty. My cocktail was the Bold Fashioned. Loved the glasses the cocktail was served in. So much in fact, I ended up buying some. Enjoyed it very much. Service was very good.
Great experience on the patio for a lunch meeting. Kimberly was an attentive server. Admittingly, I havent been to a Yard House in years. I just remember how large the menu was and like Cheesecake Factory - I avoided it. But the food was great and Ill definitely return.
Didnt have a great experience. The hostess was not pleasant and moved at the pace of a snail. The server was pleasant, but obviously forgot our food because when it came out it wasnt hot. The fries were maybe a little warm. And the prime rib sandwich was tough. He forgot our to-go boxes even after 2 requests and never gave me a refill on my soda. 50 bucks wasted that day.
My husband and I were in town for the Braves game and decided to give this a try. It was non-game day so they werent very busy at all. We were seated fairly quickly but after 30 minutes and no server we decided to leave. Not sure how the food is but the service was poor.
Love it however, lately its pretty terrible when it comes to food service 2 hrs before close. if there is a baseball game or crowds forget it... tried to eat 2x to dine in and got turned away... both times 2 hours before closing. this was our favorite restaurant. so disappointing!
It was really nice. All the servers had masks, and our server, cant remember his name, was super awesome. Really laid back atmosphere. The truffle fries, and ahi salad were sincerely amazing. I had the chocolate cake dessert, and might I say, it was very moist and delicious. Ill be back again!!!
My first experience was not the best. The server was very nice as well as the manager. I went with my coworkers. We had a party of 12. My food was not correct and had to be sent back. Once I got my turkey burger the second time it was, medium well, to say the least. I asked for it to be well done. The two stars are for the customer service. I will go back because I like the atmosphere. Hopefully the next time Ill have a better experience.

2022-03-21Its always good here. The Salmon was delicious as always and the spinach dip was pretty tasty. If youre getting the jambalaya be aware that the half serving is more than enough for one person. The drinks were great and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful...I wish I remembered my waitresses name.

2022-02-04Absolutely amazing! Yes, a little pricey but the portions are generous and the quality is totally worth it. Great date spot with a comfortable atmosphere. If you like beer, the selection is spot on with good prices! The pretzel was huge and delicious but the queso dip was mediocre. Cheese curds and sauces we divine. We tried the Spicy jambalaya with pasta was delicious and so was the lobster garlic noodles. YUM!

2022-06-26Stopped in while in Atlanta for a Braves game. We got seated right away and our server Aiden was awesome. For starters we had calamari and Wisconsin cheese curds. The portions are huge! For lunch we had spicy jambalaya, voodoo tacos and Maui chicken. AGAIN the portions are huge. You will not leave hungry here. Everything was amazing. We will be back again! Can’t wait.

2022-02-05As a Pescatarian with a hectic schedule, I often struggle to find a menu with variety, quality food, and quick service. I had exactly one precious hour to spend with my son for lunch, and Yard Bird did not disappoint us. From the greeting to seating to a deliciously satisfying meal with excellent service, I was impressed! Ill definitely be returning for more 👏🏾

2022-06-03I am typically a fan of Yard House but was dissatisfied with my visit recently. First I prefer indoor seating and was sat outside on their patio. Most places will ask this question but we were hungry and it was a nice day so I went along with it. I ordered Fish and Chips for the first time anywhere...my Hubs said I have never had a bad fish and chips. I will get to that in a minute. The adult drink I wanted they did not have so I had to pay more for another drink that was similar. I ordered a regular soda and we ordered and appetizer at the same time. We waited for a good while but finally the appetizer came, then the mixed drink, when the waitress came I said...remember I ordered a soda. She said I got you. 12 to 15 minutes go by...so I have to eat my appetizer with no soda. I did not want to drink my adult beverage from the thirst the appetizer was creating but had no choice. At this point our appetizer is gone and we sit another 10 minutes...still no soda and no food order taken. We had to ask one of the hostesses to go and find the server. She finally comes with my soda and takes our food order. The fish and chips comes and the fish is clearly overcooked and so wad the fries. The fries were probably seconds away from tasting burnt but still had that more hard texture from being overcooked. I ate what I could of the fish which was not even a whole piece. My husband had to send his fries back as his were cold when his plate landed on the table. And that drink that was not brought until after the appetizer was gone...yeah it never got refilled the whole time we ate our actual food. I did note that it appeared they had one waitress working the patio area but it was not full by any means and they still had runners bringing the food etc. So to me...I still felt dissatisfied. And if ts like this on a non baseball Thursday when not at full capacity I would not even go on a night where there was a game or on a weekend. Again typically I love it but this one...thumbs down.

2022-02-26This place was amazing, the wait was lengthy but with there being plenty to do in the area I was able to walk around while waiting to be served. When we got the text to come back we went to the table immediately and the waiter(Ian) was right over to take a drink order and answer any questions we had about what they recommend. He brought us waters as we looked over the drink and App menu. I got a beer and my girlfriend got a Long Beach tea which she loved. We also got the parm truffle fries which were awesome! Then we ordered our meal and I got the bbq bacon cheddar which was amazing, she got the Maui pineapple chicken and it was also very very good! I did not have a single complaint the whole night and I will absolutely visit this place again. Probably the best food I’ve had in a long time

2022-03-28Food was good, service was just ok. It may be due to being short staffed, but it still has to be noted. We ordered the giant pretzel as a appetizer and the pretzel itself was good, but the beer cheese was cool and gritty. The overall flavor was below other beer cheese apps in other restaurants. The chicken fingers were good, the fries are just ok, the turkey club was massive and the vampire tacos were better than expected. Just a note: The vampire tacos are not light (no fresh veggies in them), but they are tasty. I substituted steamed veggies as a side and that helped. Again, they are great, so not complaining at all about those.

2022-01-01Very good eatery for outside dining. About a 25 minute wait. We ordered everything in to go containers. Steak was slightly tough but the salmon was flavorful. The little one had pizza

2022-03-22Tons of beer, food was actually pretty good. Pretty decent sized menu. Not a lot of healthy food alternatives. I got the hot chicken with sweet potato pancakes and they were very good and the portion size was excellent. We went on a non-game day Sunday and there was a 20 some odd minute wait.It is a busy establishment so have patience with the staff and with the wait.

2022-01-02With all the restaurants right at the Battery, we decided to try the place. We were put on a waiting list and while waiting to be called, we spotted at the Battery watching the performances as it was the New Years eve.The food portions are quite big. We shared our food with my daughter yet we were not able to finish our food and took out half of it. I like the jambalaya. It is different as Im used to a dryer recipe but theres was with soup around but it was very tasty.Despite being busy, our waiter gave us a good service. I was not able to get his name but kudos to him. They have tvs around the place and the game between GA and Michigan was playing at that time so the bar area was really alive everytime the GA team scores. You can see and feel the vibe among the patrons. The place has good food, good ambience and I highly recommend.By the way, I just observed that their floor is kinda slippery so be careful. It might just be my shoes.
