It was definitely a frustrating visit this time. The drive thru headsets where giving the ladies some issues tonight. Had the line held up because they couldnt take orders. I ordered the number 4 tongue torch & unfortunately they werent the usual fresh wings I know & love. They were old and cold barely had sauce. Very disappointing.
I never had any issues with Zaxbys before today. I ordered my food 20 minutes waiting. I called inside and was told I had another 3-5 minute wait on my food. Please let customers know how long the wait will be especially when I see 50 freaking cars coming and going. This was freaking ridiculous.
Zaxbys was the to grab something fast heading home. But tonight order a Fried House got home took the salad out to eat it notice there was grit on the lettuce call the store to inform them about it. A employee said to WHAT YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT then me if I want to speak to the manager. We talk the manager was very understanding and replace the salad. Not a bad place but I think that should different employee ones who had a little more compassion.
My experience with the food was good. However I went in the drive thru because Zaxbys is closed on the inside. It literally took me 30 minutes to get my food. I would like to see Zaxbys open there restaurant back up. There were people that came to eat there got out of their vehicle walked up to the door realized it was locked and turned around and got back in there car and left and I heard the guy say why are they closed. They seemed pretty upset. I would have much rather have went in and got my food and sat down.
Moved down here 3 years ago and Zaxbys was always a great place to go. NOT ANYMORE IT ISNT!!!! We only live 2 minutes away and food was cold by the time we got there. Sweet tea was horrible! Tasted like water and not an ounce of sugar in it. Gal taking orders at drive thru didnt listen to a thing we said. Had to ask 3 times about sauces. Seemed like she was too busy talking to her friends inside. This is the way it has been for past year. Tonight was the last time I will ever be back
The line was wrapped around the building as usual, but thats nothing new with just the drive-thru open. However I am not used to my nibblers being dry and unable to chew as if they were redropped to reheat and dried out. This is the second week this has happened so I must review it because this should not be happening. I should be able to chew and swallow my food. Definitely need to be better even if that means it takes a few extra minutes, we have already waited that long for your food.
Really gone downhill. I just ordered a cajun club meal and fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were little bits and pieces mostly, very few whole mushrooms. Cooked so long the mushrooms were completely liquefied. The cajun club had no lettuce or tomato and the cheese and bacon were hardly recognizable. And they were very stingy with the fries. I used to really love that meal.
Had to return my order 2xs but it not being freshly cook as requested after receiving Luke warn fried cooked in old grease..Definitely was sitting under a warmer for a while. I had to request to speak with a manager in order for my meal to be freshly prepared....45minites wasted...smh
The line was short, which is abnormal considering it’s usually stretched almost to the road, if not in the road/turn lane. I was at the drive thru speaker box waiting with no response for like 20 seconds, which I was fine with, trust me, I’ll wait with no issues as I worked in customer service for many, many years. I started to sing to myself in the car, which was met with an abrupt “YES!!!, can I help you?” I didn’t play into the rudeness and started ordering normally, I ordered the plate and a sweet tea and was met with, “is that it?” In an aggressive tone! To which I replied, “no, can I get a big zack snack meal as well!” To which the gentleman replied “is that it?”, Again, in an aggressive tone. He was not the cashier but I could see him clearly walk to the window to see who I was, rolled his eyes visibly for me to see, and then proceeded to walk like a “diva” back to wherever his station was in the store. I’m not even gonna take my anger out on the store by leaving a bad review, because the wait wasn’t long and the food was great as always. The girl cashier was also very polite, as I’m sure she knew he was being a drama queen. But as for him and his attitude, he’d do well to find another career that didn’t involve working with the general public. Doesn’t matter what you are dealing with at work, I didn’t cause you to be upset nor was I rude to you, so why direct your drama at me? I’m nice, I’m not like other Karen’s that will come thru the drivethru window. The disrespect is real tho and if i was the manager, he’d be fired on spot and he can roll his sassy eyes out the door queen! 👌🏻
It was awful. We ordered two 4 finger meals. My toast was burnt. I mean it was black. My fries cold. My sisters toast was hard as a rock, cold fries. Also, my coleslaw was dry and a little rancid. I tried calling to complain but the number was busy. I called everyday this week and it was busy. I guess they keep it off the hook. Will never go back.
Ive been wondering if I should comment but because the workers left a customer at the window in front of us that had passed food back and forth through the window a really long time, that our dinners had gotten cold just sitting lined up waiting on that issue to be resolved. In previous times, issues like that, the car would be pulled up so other people would not get cold food. So, after having to throw away some our food like cold fries Ive been reconsidering visiting for a while
I love zaxbys and eat them frequently through online ordering but TONIGHT they had my order all type of messed up! i order a cobb salab with a zax snack combo. i recieved a salad but they forgot my onion tanglers and eggs and they didnt give me utensils for it then they forgot my fries for my combo and gave me ranch instead of zax sauce. I order online for convenience and tonight i made it all the way home before i realized that my fries were missing which they were nice about but after i went all the way back for them and came all the way back home i realized that my eggs were missing along with the onion tanglers utensils and straw. I work long hours and was already tired so im settling but maybe yall should slow down while completing online orders. Ive never had a complaint before but tonight yall did me wrong 😭😭😭
I ordered the chicken finger plate, requesting them extra crispy. Zaxbys truly delivered. Everything was extremely well prepared and not sloppy at all. When Im back in Columbus, this will definitely be the first Zaxbys that I go to. Shout out to Alejandr (spelling?). She was incredibly friendly and an overall great cashier.
It was okay. The bread on my grilled chicken sandwich was a flat. May have been mashed in a warmer. The sandwich tasted okay. The bread was a little bit tougher than Ive had at other Zaxbys. The cashier was friendly. The tables and restrooms were clean. The restaurant was quiet but not empty.
I always enjoy Zaxbys but lately you have to beg to get celery with your wings. I made sure to ask at the speaker and window and they said it was there. We checked, before leaving and it wasnt. We called and they said they would bring it out. It never came and we left.
Ive never gone to Zaxbys and had less than a 4* rating. Most of the time a 5* rating. Doesnt matter if you eat there or go through the drive through. Doesnt matter if you get a salad, a snack or a meal....always good, always fresh, always the right temperature and they have never gotten my order wrong. Not too many places can say that! Thanks Zaxby!
Placed an order ahead order on the app and waited 30 minutes beyond the ready time for it to come out. I even called in to check on it and was told it was ready and it would be brought right out. We waited another 15 minutes. After speaking to the asst manager I was told they would remake it and bring it right out. Zaxbys do better.
Im sorry, but the drive-through line was not only long, but it wasnt even moving, so I went inside, only to find 4 ppl ahead of me. Finally got my food and customer service was lacking customer service skills. There was no thank-u, come back soon, nothing. Then the food ,(slider and French fries) wasnt all that good. The chicken was greasy,and the fries werent completely cooked !!!! So yall go from there
I preordered my food , pulled up to have it brought out and had to wait over 10 min of the time I was given and had to call several times just for them to take bring everybody else’s food out but mine then the employee had a attitude saying he only had 2 hands !... literally the worst service EVER!!
Dorporable!!!! My order always consist of the zalad and traditional wings. Every time I receive my order the wings are either cold or old.....NEVER FRESH!!! This is my last time purcashing anything from Zaxbys.FYI: after spending $18 on food....you shouldnt have to call and waste additional money on gas to get what you shouldve receive in the first place!!!!
I love myself some zaxby chicken they can be expensive but you pay for what you love and I do love that speedy chicken and zaxby also have specials where if you give them your phone number they would send you a text to where they have BOGO specials so recently zaxby was doing a BOGO on boneless wing meal and I tell you it was awesome it was delicious and you know you always pay for something that you dont mind paying for even if it is a little bit expensive but theyre not as expenses at some other places so I do love myself some zesty zaxby chicken 😋😋😋
Food is good..But on Saturday night it was poorly run... They need a manager that can guide this crew when customer numbers increased... Took over 15 min to get food. No ice, no napkins,. No ice tea... Obviously no one taking care of the service are inside the store..
I placed an online order, intending to pick it up the following day with another order but instead put pick up immediately. I called the store and told them my mistake. The next day, I had no faith that my order would be there. But there it was! Bravo to the staff in fixing my mistake!

2022-05-24I ordered these spicy mushroom’s from Zaxby’s on Auburn Ave in Columbus, Ga for $5 and it’s probably no more than 10 not more than 15 in the box… I proceeded to take it back to the counter and ask for additional to be added and they said it’s a weight limit and I could purchase more… I’m extremely disappointed with the quantity I got for this price.

2022-05-15The woman who took the money from my girlfriend at the window made extremely derogatory remarks about her not thinking we could hear. Then they brought us out our food which was mostly fries instead of everything we ordered. It was supposed to be 31 dollars worth of food. They actually just put fries in one box instead of what we ordered lol. I believe they were upset about her taking so long to say what sauce she wanted. She has a speech impediment. This was a raunchy experience to say the least.

2022-06-06How you gonna not have eggs for the salad and I asked is it possible to replace the eggs with extra tomatoes instead and then you tell me I have to pay extra for the tomatoes but youre going to charge me the full price for the salad even without the eggs FOH. Auburn Ave location can forget it plus their customer service is trash anyway Had to go all the way to Bradley Park for better customer service and the substituted tomatoes. Thank you Bradley Park.

2022-04-01After working 11 hours., I got in the drive thru line at 925 pm and finally received my order at 1017 pmI wasnt aware chicken fingers took 45 minutes to fry. I got it home to find out that everything was lukewarm at best. The end

2021-02-11Zaxbys salads are AMAZING. They are super filling and always fresh. I love their garlic butter texas toast ( I sometimes order the basket of toast. (Its 3 pieces of toast). Ive never tried the House salad with grilled chicken Ive always ordered the House salad with fried chicken so flavorful. If youre looking for a great salad youve picked the right place. Great job zaxbys.

2022-06-30You could die and make it to heaven before they get an order to you. By far the worst Zaxby’s in town. Be prepared to wait 45 minutes to an hour!

2022-06-27What happened to this place?? Customer service was once again a mess... While placing my order the young lady kept cutting me off and every time I tried to talk she was not listening because she kept on rushing several times... Listen to the customers and then repeat the order and stop RUSHING. Got to the window and was trying to tell her to stop and listen and she will like excuse me and I asked for the other young lady to finish because she was much nicer didnt have a attitude and was very pleasant. I use to come to Zaxbys on Macon Rd alot but I see why again I wont be coming back to this location. Managers please train the crew to have more respect and kindness because it leaves a bad look on you and the business...
