I ordered one sandwich meal and one order of 5 wings on the app and went to pick it up on the drive thru. When I got there the window lady told me they never got my order even when I show them the receipt and screenshot of the order. When I asked for the manager to come out, he send an employee with message “he doesn’t know” and “we never got the order, it got sent to another location so we can’t refund you”, left without my food and horrible service, not coming back again and I don’t recommend anyone to do so.
The staff is super rude. I asked to substitute fries for something else and was flatly told no. Then the cashier told me to pull up to a parking space, but I didnt know how long the wait would be and I was in a hurry. I actually drove off. When I called to complain, the manager was like you know fried pickles take a while. I mean, no, I dont know how long it takes to fry a pickle actually. They could have just said how long the wait would be and been polite about it.
Spent a ton of money here. Food here was usually decent til recently. Lately its all been a bunch of dried out heat lamp chicken and extra stale, barely warm fries... Actual customer service here is typically hit or miss, with it usually missing big time.Last time I ordered food via Zaxbys app for curbside pickup (like Ive done at this location literally a dozen times before) and I pull into the designated curbside spot, call the restaurant and let them know Ive arrived just like instructed to do on the App. The guy who answers the phone told me to either get in the long drive thru line or to get out my car and walk up to the drive thru window IN BETWEEN CARS. I told him that defeats the whole purpose of me ordering curbside pickup (its literally in the name) and then he hung up the phone on me!! So I called back, he said the same thing so I responded with the same thing again and told him that he could just refund me for my order instead if he wasnt willing to bring my curbside pickup order to the curbside pickup area. Only then, did he actually bring my order out with a crazy attitude like I was trippin for asking him to do the job he gets paid money to do. Nobody wants all that attitude with their food, especially not an attitude from a man. But everybody has a bad day every so often so I actually came back one more time weeks later.Now Im finding out apparently this is the type of location that likes to close and stop taking food orders before the actual listed closing time, which is the final straw that prompted this review.I usually order on the App, but with dude trippin so hard last time, it really discouraged me from doing it again, so I get to the drive thru at 950PM and what sounds like the same guy who didnt want to bring my order out says on the speaker that they were closed. Disappointed, I asked what time they closed and get no response... I say hello a few more times and a different voice (a woman this time) says that they are closed. There were 3 cars in line in front of me, so I asked her what time they close and she said NOW. By this time it was maybe 955PM at the very latest. I leave and now Im typing this review.In a nutshell, decent/mediocre food on their best day, but dont expect any quality customer service.. I dont plan on returning to this location again.
Ive been eating at Zaxbys since high school late 90s, always been a fan of your juicy wings, but my recent order on Monday 2/25 was most disappointing (to the point I drove 6miles out of my way to another zaxbys yesterday 2/27.....) I ordered 10 wings, n I received 9 drumlets n 1 wing, n on top of that, the wings were Super dry n smaller than what I usually get..... not happy about this at all.... And the two stars is really because I got your signature nuclear sauce I love so much3/9/2019, Honestly your generic copy and paste apology message is worthless, because I gave you guys a second chance and I am sorry to say, you guys still disappointed me gravely, and unfortunately you lost a regular client.I had to drive 6 miles to the Zaxbys on Howell mill, and there I got a happy and satisfactory meal quality. Their chicken wings were fall off the bone tender, holding up to the Zaxbys standards that made me happily patronize for over 19yrs, the standards that made zaxbys reputable (I will attach photos, so you all can see the grave difference in the meals)
Got there and they said they were out of chicken….it was close to closing so we left and drove to another and got the exact same thing. We we called…someone answered and said online orders only but the gag was they weren’t taking orders via their app online soooo yeah…..both locations
Food was served up hot and delicious. The modifications made at this location to be Pandemic-safe are thorough and impressive: there is no indoor dining; people making large orders are asked to park in numbered spots nearby and a masked and gloved worker brings the food out to you when ready. Very positive experience all around.
How you gone charge me .75 for all drums.Ive never been charged for that.....and the food cold....chicken fingers the size of my pinky... wings smaller than a bic lighter...this not even a strawberry fanta.....DONT GO HERE.....dis location dont give 2s.hits about the service......and they upcharged me at the window with a new receipt......eff ur drive time... im not pullin up for none these drive thrus... NO MOif my food not ready neither am I...and dont let it be cold..
It was my first visit today to this location. We ordered sandwiche meals, salad meal(Blue Zalad), Buffalo chicken fingers and chicken wings. The taste of the food was really good. Still giving 1 rating because of the following reasons1. The blue cheese crumbles was spoiled. We tried to separate them out and tried eating.2. Got a long hair in the salad then stopped eating tge salad. Threw it in the trash and thinking if the stomach will be good tomorrow.I really doubt about the hygiene of the food that they serve. This is the only reason to rate 1. Else the taste of the food was excellent.
Terrible service, I was on line waiting 25 minutes and when I received my order it was not complete, I had to wait again. Plus they charged me wrongly, they put 2 charges on my card by mistake, they told me to wait 24 hours and it would be reimbursed, it has been 1 week and I dont see anything, I wont go again. too bad because it was my favorite place.
Awful. I have gotten the Kickin Chicken sandwich meal twice over the last month or so. Both times were just awful. The chicken was dry and there was not a lot of hot sauce on it. The fries were minimal. I didnt want to go back to return it because I would have to sit in the drive thru and wait. There is no dine in option. I really hope they improve by the time I go again.
First of all: dont ask to take my order and then start having a conversation with some one other than me, while I wait, (sounds of crikets), so, I ask are you ready to take my order (asking nicely), then with an attitude, she takes my order and over charge me!! What the #%//? Anyway....the salad was right on time!
Went here today around 5pm. Food was so nasty. Order bone in wings. The wings were not done at all gross. This place needs to be closed. During this time of conva 19 nobody needs to be eating raw food. I would like my money back and i am going back tomorrow and take them there wings back. They need to stop putting kids in charge of peoples food and pay more to get some real cooks
Service is fast and satisfactory. I went through the drive through to get myself a quic bite to eat. The boneless wings and things peal is very filling and has a lot of food. Just be sure to eat the food soon if you like your fried foods crispy or crunchy as the condensation from the steam with soften up the fies if you wait too long.
Wont ever go to that one again. The fries were undercooked and cold. I got 6 chicken fingers. They were tiny in comparison to every other Zaxbys I have been to. . .two of them were cold and hard like they were cooked yesterday and the other four were only sorta warm. worst Zaxbys meal I have had. . .and I love Zaxbys, so I eat there more than I should
Okay so the first time hubby and I came here, they tried to give me some old cold fries with my meal. Smh. Went back and got some fresh ones.Second visit, ordered our food and some cookies. They left the cookies out the bag and since the inside isnt open (covid) we had to wait in line AGAIN to get our cookies, meanwhile our meals got cold.They are clearly incompetent!!! 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
Im giving it two stars simply because I didnt like the food. I expected more out of a place that claims to specialize in southern chicken. It wasnt busy during my visit, so I did get my food pretty quick but it was obvious it wasnt fresh. They do have more options than a Popeyes or a Bojangles, but In my opinion the taste wasnt there.
Got there when it was empty. Somehow the guy charged me for someone elses order. How? I dont know. Apparently we have to check our receipt and open our food boxes before leaving drive thrus now. Happens almost in every fast food drive thru in Atlanta. Except Chikfila of course. Atlanta hires teens who dont have the drive to work hard. They pull stunts like this then boast that theyre chasin a bag.
I just ordered from this Zaxbys using Postmates, and all I ordered was the Zack Pack with 3 chicken tenders and a side of fries. As soon as I recieved the bag I immediately smelled a really spicy smell, and opened the box to find that two different sauces (a red spicy one and a white sauce) were smeared over the tenders and were sandwiched between two pieces of toast (the meal comes with one piece of toast for a side)!! Its as if someone created their own concoction for fun and sent it off as a prank??? Im less angry at the fact who ever prepared the meal did this, but more angry at the fact that nobody checks the freaking boxes before sending them out??? Who mixes sauces and smears it on customers food???
Customer Service is terrible here!!! The gentleman working at the drive thru window needs to be retrained. My complete order was incorrect. I called to speak to 2 managers both came up with a sorry excuse that the gentleman generally works in the kitchen. I went back to this location yesterday and the same gentlemen was working the drive thru.... Also, the salads we ordered had bacon on them which we asked for them not to place it on there. The grilled chicken was way too salty and the fried chicken strips were hard, not fresh at all!!!
The food is consistently good here. They always get my order correct and I can always count on friendly service from this location. The only downside is location. It’s easy to find but depending on which direction your going it can be difficult to get in and out. However the food and good service make it worth the effort.
Let me start by saying I have worked at zaxbys before, and I’m currently certified to be a manager there by completing all of the training and tests as well as serve safe certified with that being said I know how fast food and restaurants should run, and this zaxbys is an excellent example. The food is always hot and fresh the toast isn’t hard and the fries have always had seasoning. I work in the area and there’s countless others but I will specifically drive out of my way to come to this one. Great job and keep it up!
I frequent different Zaxbys every week because of the areas I work in and I can honestly say this is one of my favorites. The staff is always courteous and helpful, the bathroom is always clean, and the tea is always fresh. These three things are most important to me because its almost the only relaxing part of my day. If I had to measure among what I believe Zaxbys standards are it would be close to the top.
I was told “sorry sir I am not a robot” while ordering, a chicken finger meal, then while I was waiting for my drink at the window, I was asked if I ordered a water and I said “no I ordered sprite” then she says “ah sprite” then proceeds to give me water anyways. On top of that the drive thru is very inconvenient. Worst Zaksbys experience yet, not coming back.thank you
I like Zaxbys. I really do. I would give it a four star rating if it were just consistent.About half the time the chicken is hot, fresh, and crispy. And about the other half it tastes like its been sitting under a heat lamp for too long - which it almost certainly has. The same goes for the fries and toast.
It was very nice and there was still open and it was about 10 in the in the evening that we went and got some food the food was very very delicious but there were a little short on people there they needed to hire a somewhat people because there was a big line of cars was waiting in the drive-thru but the food was very delicious and in the it was quick quick delivery
If I could give a 0 Then I would. I was missing food from my order, they knew as soon as I called what I was calling for, and I was unable to explain any other discrepancy. When retrieving the misplaced item, it was STILL incomplete; it was a salad, and the salad dressing was not on nor in it. For someone coming from out of state, Im glad I know what the food is supposed to taste like and appear to be. Unfortunately, Ive completely lost my appetite from the apparent lacknin customer service and service quality. This is the type of service that gets restaurant chains shut down.. Which should be kept in mind when employees provide service to paying customers.
Customer Service, food quality, Management and star are A+. Had a problem 1 time since this location opened and it was handled far above any expectation that I had. A manager even followed up a week later to make sure I was satisfied. Highly recommended restaurant. Clean, fast and efficient.
Poor Food. Poor Service. Zaxbys locations all around are consistent with the great quality of their food and are TYPICALLY also consistent with a high quality of customer service. The location doesnt meet the standard of either of those categories I have grown to love about Zaxbys. We pulled up to the drive-thru not exactly sure of what we wanted and asked for just a minute. The attendant on the speaker literally gave us 5 seconds and said you ready yet? With a jovial chuckle My boyfriend replied, not quite, just a quick minute. She responds There are a lot of people behind you. There was one car, who actually pulled up after us... We then placed our order and were met at the window with another team member who did not use manners, or ask any of the typical questions (ex: would you like any sauce etc). Not only that but the grilled chicken club was very very salty. This location supposedly closes at 11 but they turned the outdoor/parking lot lights and street signage off at 9pm while we were ordering. Definitely will not be returning to this location.
These people slayed my hot chicken wings and fries. They were able to hook me up at closing time just by a phone order i made coming away from school at 9:45pm. The night shift manager and her support staff were very customer driven. I will recommend everyone to try their service. Thank u all....luv luv luv
The chicken sandwich, that theyve been advertising on TV was what we learned today and it sucked. No seasoning salt or pepper were on the fries or the sandwich. Incredible and very messy. Also I think they gave me a total of about 6 months rise and two combos cost nearly $17 with large drinks. Ill never go back to this zaxbys again
I go there every once in a while the food is great well prepare.the staff is friendly but the service takes too long.people go there with large familys and it takes for ever to get your food and to be waited on.if they would be mindful of that and open another register when I would give them 5 stars.
Dissatisfied yet again...a year ago we stopped going to the Zaxby’s at 5632 Buford Hwy NE, Doraville, GA 30340 due to problems with our biweekly orders every time and have been going to another Zaxby’s farther away. Today as we were busy we choose to go back to the conveniently located one on Buford Hwy. The only special request I made was to have No Butter on my toast, requesting it twice when ordering and then again checking with the cashier when I paid. Guess what, there’s butter on my bread. It may not seem to be much of a problem to you but why would you ask customers what they want and then give them what you want them to have?
The General manager is VERY rude. I had someone go up there to place a order for me with everything written down and they messed it up STILL this has happen 3 times. And when i called them to let them know the lady didnt even ask me my name she adressed me as the starship lady i will Most likely never go back if i could give -5 starts i would...
The food is not being prepared correctly. I have lived in Buford for 6 years and in the past 3 months the food is half fixed. I purchased a buffalo salad and most of the chicken was missing tha buffalo sauce. I took it back and when I got home noticed it was missing the blue cheese. Needles to say I was not going back. My salads have never been the same. I ordered wings 2 weeks ago that were half dipped with the tongue torch sauce. I drive to Hamilton Mill Zaxbys now to get my food.

I had an experience of ordering from this location,cashier adijah#193 at 2:46 pm I ordered wings and things with tenders combo meal and I special requested for my fries to be cooked a lil longer I received my order at 3pm,which I know that it doesnt take 16 min to cook fries,while 3 other orders were called before my order#18,not once did the cashier adijah inform me of what was taking so long for my order,she appeared to have an attitude when she handed me my food did not call my order#18,put the bag on the counter and walked off I had to ask her if that was order#18.she needs to be properly trained on customer service,very dissatisfied no since of urgency.

Once again trying to get points so I actually was going to go here but the line was too long so we ended up going to Chick-fil-A and I really wish that I had stuck with Zaxbys Chick-fil-A wasnt all what it was cracked up to be far as the food but the service was awesome perhaps next time Im down south Ill get the opportunity to try Zaxbys since Ive heard so much about it enjoy

2022-09-03I cant come to this location again.😒 It took almost 20 minutes for me to get my food. Im spoiled by the Peachtree Rd. location in Chamblee where they get the food out in 3 minutes or less. Every other Zaxbys manager in Metro Atlanta should go train at 4906 Peachtree Blvd, Chamblee, GA 30341 and learn how to run their locations properly. Just saying.

2022-05-13I was paying using Google pay. When I tried to use it they acted like it didnt work and suggested I use my card. I stood there trying to pay with my phone for 5 mins and the cashier told me to use my card instead. I like receiving rewards for using contactless pay. I looked at the card machine and told the cashier its not saying swipe card or insert to pay on the screen. She said she dont know about it and said to use my card. So I decided to try to use the app. As I was working with this app, the cashier brought out my meal and tried to give me the food as if I didnt have the funds to pay for it and stated its ok dont worry about it. Smh I told her no imma pay for my food. I felt she was trying to embarrass me after that. Anyway i proceeded to do the app but wasnt working because I was having logging issues with my password, so I gave up after about another 5 mins of trying and pulled out my card. I go to the machine and inserted my card halfway just to see that the cashier was going to now change the screen to swipe or insert card to pay. I pulled out my card and told her thats the screen i was looking for. Which showed the cashier was holding me up wasting my lunch break on trying to pay when she could have press the button for me to proceed. She just wanted me to use my card. I took out my phone with this screen now up saying swipe or insert card and paid with my phone. Smh this location just made my day alot harder for no reason. Why?

2020-01-25Worst experience they took forever to have my order ready, gave us the wrong order didn’t even gave us the correct amount of wings we paid for and it gets worst manager doesn’t give a .... doesn’t care if you call her and complain she doesn’t even know what to say or just stay quite over the phone totally ignoring customers 😡
