Last night visit was my second visit since they open and sure enough i was not satisfied with food or service. We had taste for korean Chinese food and our favorite place close on Wednesday so my in law suggested to try this place one more time. Food isnt authentic and over priced definitely in my opinion.Their 간짜장 which is stir fried but all l saw the difference from regular 짜장면 was whole bunch onions added to charge $4.50 more. Chicken fried rice they put fried chicken chopped up and other dishes we ordered was totally different from what we been knowing and ate as for over 30 years.
This place is honestly the best Chinese/Korean food I had in a while. It really hit the spot for my tang suyuk craving. If you know, you know!Ive had a lot of tang suyuk growing up in Korea but this place was AMAZING! I could tell everything was fresh and they were using high quality meats. We ordered the jjajang myun, the jjampong, and the tang suyuk. Man o man did we enjoy ourselves. Not to mention our waitress was so nice and she was so attentative. Everything came out in a timely manner and definitely coming back for more!10 out of 10! Definitely recommend!
This restaurant could be able to get me recovered from korean home sick taste- wise. Literally amazing and especially like the texture of noodles here. Whats more satisfying was actually the way they wrap up Togo boxes, which is not cheapy or stupid at all. Sometimes some ignorant restaurants uses Styrofoam box even for fried eggrolls or lay down aluminum foils under the hot food or kimchi, which is so unhealthy not to mention DANGEROUS for human body!!!! In contrast, this place is distinguished one in that way as well. Highly recommend!
First time eating here today. Since i love to eat korean-chinese foods, i tried out almost every places in Duluth/Suwanee area. They were very busy for lunch time. I wouldn’t want to keep ring the bell to complain. Just left quietly. I will visit again after few months though.1st, 쟁반짜장 jjajang was very salty. I made it take to go and mix with rice to eat.2nd, 짬뽕 jjamppong, the first spoon of soup you taste is like 가쓰오부시(katsuobushi) and very strong MSG flavor. After finish the bowl, i would have to drink few bottles of water. Dry my mouth.I usually give a tip depends on waitress’ ability, not as my duty that i have to put certain percentage. It is generally up to me to decide how much of a tip to leave a waitress at a restaurant. Bring out all the foods is not all their duty. They could’ve ask me how is the food. I thought that was essential question to ask customers few minutes after bring out the foods. Again, I’m not the person that ring the bell to complain. Essential things are essential. Manager would think i am so cheap about tip, but he can go ask 9292 kbbq place how much i left few days ago. Any hard workers are deserved to get paid more. If they paid same amount, I don’t think that is fair.
The worst chinese korean restaurant. Ive never left bad review for restaurant. I had Chilli Japchae(고추잡채) this evening. There is no pork or meat which is main ingredient of it. I found less than a spoon of grounded pork on the bottom of bowl. $32 for 1 serving is not cheap, but quality and taste is so cheap. It ruined my Friday night.
The absolute worst service I have ever received. Not only did they mess up our entire order, the owner or manager on staff continued to let her wait on us and she continued to not only mess up more simple requests (water, sides, etc), she kept lingering around the table, I guess as a way for her to express how sorry she was?… Oh, and the food was lacking flavor.
Don’t believe the reviews, blows my mind that they don’t have above 4.5 stars. Everything was great from service to food. Think this restaurant suffers from entitled customers that at the slightest inconvenience complain and throw a tantrum. Regardless don’t believe the reviews!! Came on a Saturday and place was packed!
The waitress forgot to submit the order of our food. She also forgot to bring any water. It took almost an hour to have the food. Overall, all the food taste was bad. Jajang myun was salty and Jampong tasted like msg soup with no taste. Chicken tangsu was bad too. Finally, after about 40 minutes my eye swelled shut. I wonder what they put in the food? It was the worst restaurant experience ever. We wont go back.
I had a great experience and the food was all very good. I see other reviews being salty about the slow service but you have to understand they are still in the soft opening stage. Some people really need to learn to be more patient and understanding of our local businesses who are opening during this never ending pandemic. I love it so far and will definitely be coming back 👍One slight con would be the questionable hiphop music which wasnt exactly expected at a Chinese restaurant lol
Food is good but there was a piece of hair that came out of the jjampong. Very disappointed because I waited 50 minutes to get my food and was looking forward to it but had them take it back. They asked if I was still going to eat it or wait again for a new one. Honestly wasn’t gonna wait another 20 min to get my food so next time hope they keep a sanitary cooking station.
Food was good but I came here 3 times and was very disappointed. 1st time the waitress forgot to give us water and didn’t even come to check if we needed anything else. 2nd time we waited 5 minutes to sit down and that’s ok but they served the ppl that came after us first. 3rd time we went around 7:45pm and they said kitchen was closed so we went to a different restaurant that sold Champong.
The best Chinese restaurant in Georgia. Its called Chinese RestaurantI like Chinese food, so I went to many Chinese restaurants.Clean and memorable, I go there 1-2 times a monthChinese restaurant!!!Chinese RestaurantIm not good at writing reviews.Im sorry for the low ratingIll be patiently posting a review!!Ganjajang Seafood Jjambbong Just Jjajangmyeon, Glutinous Rice Sweet and sour porkJaptang Kkanpunggi, etc. Everything is delicious!!!
Chilli Jjamppong (two peppers) was a little spicy and flavorful, lots of vegetables and seafoodHot Jjamppong (also two peppers on the menu) was super spicy from Thai peppers.Unless you are a warrior, dont try the ten jjamppongIt should be at least a “four pepper” level if pepper jjambbong was two pepperExcellent service, the lady was very friendly and warned us many times about the spicy level.Red pepper jjambbong is slightly spicy than Shin Ramyun, and Yeol Jjambbong is spicy than Buldak-bokkeummyeon. As a person who enjoys Buldak-bokkeum-myeon lightly, the red pepper jjambbong was just delicious and spicy. If you eat ten jjamppong, you will feel bloody.
Its been a while since Ive enjoyed eating out with the whole family. My family loves lunch, but I came here because there was a private room next to the kitchen. Jajangmyeon and fried dumplings suited the childrens taste well, and the marbled jjamppong had plenty of meat. I especially liked the sweet and sour pork and red pepper japchae! Even though it was a busy time, the servers were kind and took good care of me, so I went to have a satisfying meal. Ill come back two or three times when Im craving Chinese food.
The glutinous rice sweet and sour pork and stir-fried clams are really good. Its hard to find a place that does stir-fry clam, but Chinese restaurants are full of clam, and the combination with noodles is perfect. Its a sticky feeling. The male server is so kind and full of sense.!!! Thanks to you, it was delicious.
Visited twiceFirst Jjajangmyeon Red Pepper Jjambbong Sweet and sour pork (small) DumplingsDouble Jjajangmyeon Sweet and sour pork (Large) Regular JjambbongI cant remember how much the dumplings were, but there are five like that. Its not a big dumpling, its slightly larger than the bibigo dumpling. When it came out, I was like, “What is this? How delicious it is that the price is so high”I did, but after eating it, um... Ill just never eat it again. He said that red pepper jjambbong was very spicy, but the first taste was more of a cough than spicy. But when I ate it, it wasnt too spicy, only dried red pepper, a little bit of squidAh, the taste of the soup was just worse than Pulmuones direct fire jjamppong.Jjajangmyeon is a style made with ground meat just like the old uni jjajang. The first time I tried it, it didnt really taste good, the second time it was just average. (This may be because I dont like jjajangmyeon very much..)The ultimate sweet and sour porkPeople around me said that sweet and sour glutinous rice was delicious, but I personally didnt like sweet and sour glutinous rice, so I ordered regular sweet and sour pork.Personally, sweet and sour pork was just my style. But even if the amount is small, you———————————————————————Boss, prices have gone up a lot, but its not that much, right?!When I first went, I was surprised to see the little sheep. The second time I went, I was even more surprised to see the sheep.Wow, I cant wait to say that its too much hahahaBut its so delicious.I ordered 5 menus at this restaurant, and 4 of them were really bad.The other one is so delicious (although the quantity is too small ㅠ)Three stars for my visiting doctor
I ate jjamjamyeon. Jjajang may have different likes or dislikes depending on the style, but its not my favourite. Of course, there are people who like it, so I recommend you try it. Jjamppong is not a complete bowl, so its hard to say, but it doesnt have a lot of seafood. However, the waitress and the lady who seemed to be the owner were very friendly. For reference, I liked Mega Mart Jjajang, but when I visited recently, the noodles were crumbly because of the flour change. Anyway, the new Chinese restaurant is a good restaurant to visit at least once.
Its just opened, so the ingredients are goodhope it staysThe noodles are plump and chewy.Chadol Seafood Jjambbong - Flavor x Thick Broth xIts a good broth, so its recommended to eat noodles and soup together.First impression The price is not good, but there are many thingsJajangmyeon - better than average jjajangmyeon*** Sweet and sour glutinous rice - delicious, meat size and quality GREAT****Unfortunately, there are more customers than working staff, so there is a wait time and the food seems to take a little longer than the average Chinese restaurant.
I ran to say that sweet and sour pork was delicious... It wasnt great . Medium to crispy and slightly hard. The meat is very chewy. What I ordered is glutinous rice sweet and sour pork. You will be disappointed when you think of the Hong Kong restaurant in Korea.Vegetables in Jjamppong. BroccoliIt didnt really go well with the jjamppong. The flavor of the jjamppong was like using Hwa oil.The thick noodles are played separately from the soy sauce and Jjamppong is also the same. The soy sauce is delicious.
Too much breading caused not fully cooked inside. Just little pork inside but smells not good. Noodle was not bad, but not impressive. Most of the glutinous rice sweet and sour pork is fried and there is little meat, but there is a lot of meat. The jjajangmyeon was edible. By the way, when we arrived, it wasnt busy at all and the food came out without a long wait.
Ive been here before and had a delicious meal, but then the waiting time was a bit long as it had just opened. Now, the food was delicious and the food came out quickly.I ordered jjamppong, lassogi, and chicken fried rice and it was good~Especially the chicken fried rice was delicious unlike other places.
I like champon, so whenever I go to a Chinese restaurant, I always eat champon. My first impression of Jjamppong was that the contents were poor compared to the price.Other Chinese restaurants have a lot of seafood for the same price. He complained to the server that the soup he was drinking was too salty. You made a new one again. The noodles were delicious. The sweet and sour pork was good and it was chewy.
Jjamppong is highly recommended. However, one of the workers was a Korean man who spoke very badly, which made it uncomfortable. I praised it as delicious, but I felt very bad because I said half-talking. The other girls were very friendly. Next time, I hope men dont serve.
I wont tell you about the taste. I went to eat jjamppong jjajangmyeon...Im eating jjambbong and jjajang guppygi, but the servers order came out right? But I was embarrassed, so I watched it and ate it.Jjambbong soup was delicious, so I was going to roll up the rice and just ate it.I dont think I can go when I want to eat light jjajang. The side dishes here are a must...
Im not good at reviewing restaurants, but Im writing a review because I feel so bad. When I visited as soon as it opened, wow~ I was so impressed that there was such a delicious restaurant, so I worked hard on recommending restaurants on social media and introduced them to my friends, but as time went on, the sweet and sour pork had a thicker skin, and the meat was tough and smelled like pork. The meat of red pepper japchae is hard to find and I ended up throwing it away because I couldnt eat it after eating it because it was so salty.I understand that the submission container uses cheap prices, butThe food that I had been waiting for for a long time did not meet my expectations by even 10%, which made me angry.
Dont ever eat Chinese cold noodles. Im sorry. Its the worst non-naengmyeon food in all of Atlanta. The three of us ate the same naengmyeon, and we all ate noodles together and gave up eating seafood or broth. The Chinese restaurant here is good for jajangmyeon and sweet and sour pork, but for champon, I personally recommend the jjamppongjizone in Atlanta. Chinese naengmyeon is better with broth or seafood.
It was a pity that there was no proper Chinese restaurant in Duluth, but I highly recommend this place! Jjajangmyeon is delicious! The amount of jjajangmyeon was a little disappointing, but the noodles were firm and delicious. The glutinous rice noodle soup is a must!! It tastes like the one I had in Korea. In other places, it felt like eating only tempura, but here the meat was quite chewy and thick. The sauce is awesome too! Service was good. Overall, I am very satisfied and I think I will only visit here from now on! I cant wait to try other menu items next time!Best jjajangmyun and tangsooyook in the area! Highly recommend this place - coming from someone that’s had jjajangmyun all their life.
The store is busy because it is newly opened and everyone is trying to go there. You should have listened to the people coming out before entering the entrance. Words that dont taste good... When I went home after contributing close to $120 and opened the food, all I could see was laughter. It has only been 20 minutes and the noodles are so spread out that the noodles are not rubbed and the noodles are too sweet. Jjamppong contains vegetables that should not be included rather than vegetables that should be included, and seafood is not too good for the price. About 20% of the glutinous rice sweet and sour pork has meat inside. Sheepskin is not much different from other houses, but the price is a few dollars more expensive. There is no reason to visit that house again. I think only people who like it should go.
Ive been waiting for a long time for a Chinese restaurant to open, but I finally did.The taste is the same taste that I ate in the past.Especially the noodles were chewy and very tasty. The dumplings were also made by myself, so they were crispy and delicious. There are many kinds of food and the servers are friendly. Its been a long time since Ive eaten well while on the move.
The person serving must be retrained. After entering the restaurant, we took a seat, but even after 10 minutes, the server didnt order or bring water, and when I asked a passing server if they didnt take their order, he didnt even look at me. I waited 45 minutes for the food to come out, but there was no meat in the jajangmyeon.. Ive been 3 times and the food tastes different every time. Is there a reason why? Fried rice and omurice are fried rice covered with eggs and ketchup instead of sauce. I used ground meat for jajangmyeon. Onion and chunjang must be ordered by the customer. Aren’t pickled radish, onion and chunjang the basics? However, the only thing I ate deliciously was dumplings.. How about doing business with proper server training..
Ive been looking forward to going since it just opened! The interior of the restaurant is just okay! As it is an open space, there are many people, so we have to wait for 30 minutes to be seated. I ordered lamb skin, jajangmyeon, sweet and sour pork with glutinous rice, champon, and clams! ##Comprehensive evaluation 1. The staff are so unfriendly! No matter how busy you are, you have to be kind first to eat comfortably, but this is not the case. 2. Food taste- Jajangmyeon is okay! but too sweet Whether it was the smell of broth or the fishy smell of seafood, the jjamppong was not stir-fried in a wok, it was just boiled in broth, so it was a little awkward to eat. . Glutinous rice sweet and sour pork is a little uncomfortable because the glutinous rice dough is undercooked inside. The sauce for clams is delicious, but the sand was chewed up and my teeth almost came out twice. a sense of litigation Overall, its not a place I would go back to again, and the price is expensive for the food!
Theres nothing like this in Atlanta. After eating, I do not want to drink water..It was really delicious.I ate all kinds of noodles, Jjajangmyeon / Jjamppong, and it was really delicious..I also really enjoyed the food...My wifes birthday is approaching, so I made a reservation.I plan to order it as a course meal and eat it.Im looking forward to it so much...This is my personal opinion, but I highly recommend it.

2022-07-06Disregard the reviews and experience yourself. It was our second time visiting and (service, food quality, taste) got better. I can tell their frying oil isnt old and the meats/veggies are fresh. The portion of the meals are good enough. Their customer service improved tremendously. All staffs were polite with good manner. I think their customer service is almost as good as Jangsujang from my experience. I will continue to visit and hope theyll maintain the good taste and the service.

2022-08-31Out of ten? Definitely a ten. I got the 짬자면, 깐풍기, and 탕수육. The 짬뽕 was so rich and spicy (loved it), and the 탕수육 was so light and crispy. I was recommended this place by a bunch of old cranky Korean women; thats how you know its good. For all the people not familiar with Korean culture, this is Koreanized Chinese food, not actually authentic Chinese food. Its considered fast food in Korea and tasty in its own right.

2022-03-31Zoong Guk Jib 중국집 means China House in Korean. Chinese cuisine is everywhere around the world and this restaurant specializes in Korean-Chinese dishes. Just think of New York Pizza or Chicago Pizza is American not Italian.Jjajang Myun (black soy bean noodle) or Champon noodle (spicy seafood noodle soup) along with Tangsuyuk (deep fried pork meat) are the most well-known K Chinese dish combos in Korea.I think this place is one of the best of K Chinese restaurant around the area for sure after trying their food several times.Although some people gave bad reviews on customer service and waiting time, I had a great experience.I guess you need to sacrifice something for good food unless you just want to walk in quiet restaurant next door without waiting.Strongly recommended

2022-04-13Their 찹쌀 탕수육 is so good! I wish the sauce and their 짜장면 was stronger, but overall enjoyed my food. We got there right when they opened and were the first ones there, but they got quite busy by noon.

2022-08-22It was pretty solid Korean Chinese food. We started off with the rice flour tangsooyuk (sweet and sour pork) which was pretty delicious and provided and interesting chewy texture. The fried dumpling is homemade and pretty good. We also got the ganjajang and jajamgmyun. I prefer the ganjajang as its not sweet and it has the wok hai flavor infused, but the sauce is like 96% onion. Also, they dont give you as much noodles as other places.

2022-01-30Dishes were ok(they were typical Korean Chinese cuisine kind of mild taste) Reason that I gave 4 stars is that first the dining room was very cold and the time of the service was way too slow.(Server was confused with the order and I had to raise my hand and tell that it was the dish that I ordered)

2022-02-15Fresh fried tangsuyuk and Mandoo. Jjajangmyun noodle was bit thick. Must try fried Mandoo
